The California Corporations Code is one of 29 Codes that contain state statutes. The Corporations Code contains several sections of general provisions, followed by 6 Titles. There are also numerous divisions, parts, chapters, and articles containing hundreds of code sections, or individual statutes. The following is a broad overview of the Corporations Code.

There are 4 Division, 22 Parts, 114 Chapters and 118 Articles.

TITLE 2. PARTNERSHIPS [Sections 15800 – 16962]

There are 3 Chapters and 23 Articles.

TITLE 2.6. CALIFORNIA REVISED UNIFORM LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY ACT [Sections 17701.01 – 17713.13]

There are 13 Articles.

TITLE 3. UNINCORPORATED ASSOCIATIONS [Sections 18000 – 24001.5]

There are 5 Parts, 10 Chapters, and 6 Articles.

TITLE 4. SECURITIES [Sections 25000 – 31516]

There are 6 Divisions, 13 Parts, 51 Chapters, and 8 Articles.

There are 9 Sections.
