Long-time California Globe contributor Chris Micheli has just published three new practical guides on important California laws. “These are important additions to the practical guides series. I have added two new guides to California Code, and then the Political Reform Act,” Micheli said.
The three new guidebooks are available for purchase from Amazon in either paperback or ebook versions.
Micheli’s first two books just released are his third and fourth “practical guides” to one of California’s 29 Codes. These two are on the Evidence Code and the Unemployment Insurance Code. The prior two are on the Labor Code and Elections Code. The 29 Codes contain the state’s over 155,000 statutes and are divided based on subject matter.
The first book is “A Practical Guide to the California Evidence Code,” which covers the state’s statutes found in the Evidence Code. This book is just over 80 pages.

The third book is “A Practical Guide to California’s Political Reform Act,” which covers that part of the Government Code. This book is just over 110 pages.
