Depraved Leftist Media Reaction to Charlie Kirk’s Assassination
Charlie Kirk made his career via deliberative Democracy, having reasoned discussions, debating issues publicly, in proper democratic fashion

The assassination of Charlie Kirk is horrific. Kirk was shot while speaking at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. The assassination makes us ask why it is that only conservative speakers are threatened on college campuses when they are invited to speak? Think Ann Coulter, Ben Shapiro, Milo Yiannopoulos, Riley Gaines, they’ve all been physically attacked, chased, and violently protested on college campuses, after being invited to speak.
And why is it that sick people on the left celebrated Kirk’s murder?
Why are leftist news hosts still blaming those on the right? Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on MSNBC’s “The Briefing,” stated that President Donald Trump’s response to Charlie Kirk’s assassination is an “escalation” and that “there’s a lot of rhetoric that is problematic. A lot of it is coming from one particular side and from one particular building,” she said, Breitbart reported.
What a vile creature to say something so abhorrent.
Perhaps the statement that made me wince the most came from the San Francisco Chronicle’s Joe Garofoli: “Charlie Kirk’s killing created a powder keg. Why are Republicans waving matches around?”
My response on X was “OMG – read the room.”
“The reaction of Second Amendment absolutists and their enablers to the slaying of conservative activist Charlie Kirk Wednesday during his rally at Utah Valley University was as predictable as it was dangerous,” Garofoli opens his article with.
He goes on to claim that Democrats offered condolences while Republicans used incendiary language:
“In a moment that begged for calm and unity, Democrats — even those who loathed Kirk politically — offered condolences and railed against political violence. Meanwhile, Republicans, who control Congress and the White House (and, let’s face it, the Supreme Court) were much less likely to condemn political violence, and none suggested they should pursue gun safety measures. Some conservative activists and politicians condemned the shooting but nonetheless used incendiary language that could accelerate, as one violence researcher feared, a downward slide into authoritarianism.’”
Garofoli should have quit while he could, but did not:
“Kirk himself was prone to inflame tensions in the wake of tragic violence. ‘Having an armed citizenry comes with a price,’ he once told his followers days after a horrific mass shooting.”
Friends and political colleagues told Garofoli to delete his post, that it was beneath him, and that it was not the right time to publish this.
Was this too soon? Bad judgment? Or bad form by Garofoli? At a minimum it is in poor taste.
But his wasn’t a singular opinion or position.
In the U.S. House when Speaker Johnson announced a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk’s passing, Democrats erupted in outrage. Speaker Johnson had to repeatedly call for “ORDER.”
Rep. Lauren Boebert requested a moment of prayer for Kirk. Democrats shouted “no!” Then, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna shouts back “y’all caused this!”
As someone on X pointed out, “These f**** kneeled for George Floyd.”
Garofoli continued:
“Don’t look to the White House for help or solace or solutions. The authoritarian-in-chief wields only one tool: A hammer. Don’t wait for conservative lawmakers to soften their harsh, often violent partisan rhetoric for fear of appearing weak before the MAGA base.”
Garofoli focused on gun rights, ignoring that the gun didn’t kill Kirk, a man using it did. He continues:
“So was his death worth the price of inviolable gun rights? Of course not. That’s insane.
The country is an emotional powder keg of potential political violence, according to ongoing nationwide surveys by researchers at UC Davis’ Violence Prevention Research Program. Six percent of the respondents in 2024 believe that ‘in the next few years, there will be civil war in the United States.’
If 6% seems insignificant, consider that it means 6% of 340 million Americans in a country with at least 400 million guns in civilian hands.
And many Americans are itching to use them,” Garofoli said.
Most gun owners purchase guns for home and personal defense, particularly in a state where the police are still being defunded, and 9-1-1 calls go straight to hold.
Mr. Garofoli needs to get out of San Francisco once in a while, and talk to the normals who are kind, generous, and hard working, and have no itch to use a gun, but have no real trust that the police will be there when called.
The response to Charlie Kirk’s assassination by many on the left, and especially those on the left in media makes most of us shake our heads in sadness and anger. It feels a little too much like Rahm Emmanuel’s famous statement, “never let a crisis go to waste.”
California Attorney Erin Friday posted on X a statement that epitomizes our sadness and anger:
“Today, as the left celebrates the demise of one this country’s best men, Charlie Kirk, I can no longer hold out hope that the left can be saved. Democrats are the party of death. I am registering as a Republican, in the name of Charlie. A man who gave me a platform and always answered my texts.”

Charlie Kirk was a remarkably brilliant man who died way too soon. It is a terrible loss to the entire world. We will never know how many problems he could have helped to solve. God bless him and his family.
When Democrat Senator Elizabeth “Faucahontas” Warren was asked about calls for Democrats to tone down their violent rhetoric following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, she became visibly agitated and said “Oh, please” and then deflected by attacking President Donald Trump.
As Katy Grimes pointed out, Charlie Kirk was a charismatic leader who successfully built a career via deliberative Democracy, having reasoned discussions, debating issues publicly, in proper democratic fashion, and winning over voters with ideas. No doubt the Democrat left and the deep state viewed him as threat to their Marxist globalist agenda who needed to be contained? Considering the pervasive violent rhetoric of Democrat left, Charlie Kirk’s security detail should have never allowed him to speak in a university courtyard surrounded by buildings where a sniper be hiding on the roof?
A report from the Wall Street Journal suggested Thursday that ammunition found by the rifle that authorities believe the assassin used were engraved with transgender messages. Was his assassination carefully planned and coordinated by the Democrat left and the deep state? Alex Jones showed this morning on InfoWars program that the NY Times and LA Times had reported on their online platforms that he had been shot hours before it actually happened and that Amazon had listed a book about his assassination by an author named Anastasia on September 9th which was one day before it happened. It’s very strange?
TJ: “No doubt the Democrat left and the deep state viewed him as threat to their Marxist globalist agenda who needed to be contained?”
Considering the type of person Charlie Kirk was —- kind, calm, reasonable, logical, open, friendly, and virtuous —- there was obviously no threat, no justification, no necessity, for ANYONE to take the man’s life at all; never mind so gruesomely, publicly, shockingly, horribly, unless the threat Charlie Kirk represented to the left was like “a cross to a vampire.”
Thus TJ’s quote above is really the only thing a sane person can conclude, even without knowing anything else. Whether the desired “containment” is achieved “indirectly,” through constant self-righteous screaming incitements to violence by anyone ripe to hear it a la Elizabeth Warren or Maxine Waters, for example, or directly, by a murderous committee who carefully plots the horror, in meticulous detail, after which it sends out a hand-picked, possibly “re-programmed,” scrupulously-trained sharp-shooter to take care of their diabolical dirty work.
I still cannot believe — and I know I’m not alone —- that this extraordinary one-of-a-kind leader, only 31 years old, with a beautiful young family and an entire life of exponential and inspiring good works ahead of him, was brutally taken out yesterday, and with such callousness and viciousness. And as Katy Grimes has catalogued, the viciousness continues. Are these people really our fellow Americans? Doesn’t look like it to me.
Amazon listed a book titled The Shooting of Charlie Kirk: A Comprehensive Account of the Utah Valley University Attack, the Aftermath, and America’s Response by Anastasia J. Casey on September 9, 2025, with a Kindle edition released. This was a day before he was assassinated on September 10, 2025. Amazon has since taken down the listing but screen shots exist of the listing.
Newsweek reported that the liberal website “Jezebel” published an article titled “We paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk,” detailing how they commissioned online witches from Etsy to place a symbolic curse on conservative activist Charlie Kirk which was published on September 8, 2025 two days before he was assassinated. The website Jezebel has since taken down the article “We paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk,” authored by Mary Rooke, but the Daily Caller has a screenshot of the article in which Mary Rooke says “These days, witches cater to more than just personal grudges. And it’s not uncommon for them to channel their energy toward thwarting Republicans (there’s even a subreddit devoted to casting nightly hexes on Trump). Are you interested in punishing Kirk for the years of regressive rhetoric he’s shouted at America’s youth and anyone within earshot? Here at Jezebel, we’re about to find out if there’s a spell for that. The next day, the Priestess sent me her proof of cast: a photograph in flames, the edges slowly curving inward, engulfing Charlie’s ridiculous scrunched-up little face. She whispered (I imagine), ‘Trust the unseen.’ Chills,” she wrote. Charlie Kirk has been. martyred. He was a great man of faith and carried out his dream to change the younger generation on college campuses across this country.
As far as the unhinged left celebrations, the left are empty people, devoid of God, devoid of humanity and they revel in the business of death. Charlie Kirk has touched so many people with love, heart and conviction. Exactly what people like Joe Garafoli and Jen Psaki are NOT!
I will be forever be grateful for Charlie Kirk. His life will leave an imprint on the country for the better. He was one of the best debaters and voice for Christ that I have ever witnessed. He did it as Jesus would have wanted.

I think California Democrats were assisting in the promo for Harris’s 107 tour.
I bet the decision to drop LAPD security for events there have generated much regret and possible reconsideration. Maybe even a few phone calls to the Guber’s office. In my mind it could be driving some of this disappointing projection on their part.

Why do I get the feeling that there will be a do nothing response from the CA GOP? I mean at least they finally got rid of the green banner and Sierra Club look. It was disturbing during covid to see them just fold like a wet paper towel and pretend Donald Trump did not exist and trembly in fear of the words “right wing” and “America First”. We will get word transmissions and lethargic energy with the country club more worried about what the liberal big money donors will think.

If you look through the recommendations anything that was supported by Trump was recommended not to pass. In order to overturn the committee’s recommendations there had to be a 2/3’s vote to do so. Amendment 19 stands out where the CAGOP is not in favor of showing ID to vote stands out. The CAGOP continues to be a Rino organization. The state level will continue to be Rino until there are enough County GOP organizations that force the party conservative.
CAGOP is worse than a RINO organization. They are the enemy of the GOP.

A survey conducted by the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) in April 2025 found that 55% of self-identified “left of center” respondents believed the assassination of President Donald Trump would be at least somewhat justified.
The left is the enemy of the state. They are mentally deranged.
When you think about what a lovely rat hole Russia is, remember that their solution to disagreements are solved by opponents falling out of a window at 25,000 feet. This is our political future with democrats.

He did not attend this school, but had a friend who did. Is his friend an accomplice? Is he part of Antifa?
There were attendees cheering that Charlie was shot.
Antifa is an organization that is well funded, they train to kill.
In memory of Charlie Kirk who we will always remember. We will carry on his dedication to America’s youth and his mission of our country! The assassination of Charlie is an act of evil. Together we must go forward and we are now the voice for Charlie.

The left including Dem politicians wanted Charlie deade, because he was effectively beating them by welcoming younger people in as conservative voters and to salvation by Jesus Christ. The Dem left hates Christians and conservatives. They want more dead to support their power grab.
Do not believe the false condolences of Dem politicians- all lies.
Many more conservative Christians will rise up to support Charlie’s movement. Unfortunately more may also
die (and go to heaven early). I pray that this will also give spines to weak church pastors who cowardly have failed to speak up as their duty to the Gospel.
I think every gun, rifle, shotgun should be confiscated from the citizens of the United States and destroyed. Screw the 2nd Amendment! Only the police and the government should have such weapons!
