The Hypocrites Cometh . . . for Rep. Doug LaMalfa
Did Newsom and his Democrat cronies’ redistricting scam add to the stress of the Congressman’s life the last several months?

These are the personal thoughts from a political insider and friend who worked with former State Senator and California Rep. Doug La Malfa.
We’re going to soon start seeing a procession of Democrat politicians saunter in to the multiple memorials being held for the late Congressman Doug LaMalfa.
The first will be the big public memorial in Chico on Saturday, January 24th. These Democrat politicians- so-called friends and colleagues will give grandiose statements about “my good friend Doug.”
Most of these Democrat politicians are just plain hypocrites. For the last several months they have all been conspiring, scheming, plotting and voting to rob rural Northern California of one of its all-time best champions – yes, Doug LaMalfa.
Governor Newsom’s reference in his State of the State speech to LaMalfa was awkward, insincere and cringeworthy.
Newsom doesn’t give a Tinker’s damn about LaMalfa, let alone rural NorCal. In fact it was Newsom who started the idea of gutting the representation of rural Californians by pushing an unprecedented, corrupt redistricting plan.
Newsom, and almost every Democrat legislator (except Assemblywoman Bains), wanted to oust the North’s conservative protective bear – Doug LaMalfa – and replace him with slick coastal elite Mike McGuire from Marin County.
God, life and fate intervened and Congressman Doug LaMalfa sadly passed away on January 6th.
Did Newsom and his Democrat cronies’ redistricting scam add to the stress of the Congressman’s life the last several months?
Definitely.
Those who knew Doug, know that he was worried – not about his career – but about the real possibility that his rural neighbors, families and friends in Northeastern California could be represented (but really ignored) in Congress in the future by a urban-centric liberal politician from the coast.
While Newsom and other Democrat politicians put on fake sad faces about the death of Doug, keep in mind their role in this whole sad story.
Hope you’re happy Governor Newsom and Dem politicians. You got rid of Doug LaMalfa, but you will never take away his spirit and inspiration.
RIP Doug LaMalfa.

Rest in peace Doug. You will be missed. It seems God always takes the GOOD ones first.
I have had the the pleasure of attending a high school in Northern California at the same time as some of Doug’s family / siblings. I have never met Doug because he was out of High School when I had started but the contact I had with his family / Siblings, the LaMalfas are GOOD people. The real Deal. They care about this region deeply. Their way of life. All the farmers north of here (Sac) do. I remember hearing Doug had got into politics. I was young, not quite understanding what it was all about. But now that I do, you can’t help but admire the Man, he did love this region , i know all the rice farmers do, he loved it enough to take on some pretty evil people that are trying their very best to destroy a way of life for them. Peace be with the LaMalfa family. God Speed Doug. You will be missed.
Indeed you say true. My husband and I fled the North State after watching the wall of fire {Carr Fire} headed right towards us. We lost some of our friends and just didn’t want to wait around for our turn! LaMalfa was the last one standing in the fight against the Sacramento left carving out what was left of our hard earned money via overtaxing the late, once great State of California. Doug LaMalfa you will be missed.
If it means anything to the anonymous friend writing here about Doug LaMalfa, what he or she says about his very sad passing is the very first thing I thought of when I learned of it. I live in Southern California and have never met Rep. LaMalfa but could see that he was a fine and committed person, a rarity in politics, and the long-observed cruelty of much of CA’s Dem leadership caused me to have the gut reaction about the reason for his passing described by the friend who wrote this. R.I.P. Doug LaMalfa.
To Congressman Doug LaMalfa’s family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. California lost a good man who fought for his district. May the democrats who added stress to his life reap what they sow. The devastation they have brought upon families in this state will come back to hurt these sadists.
God sees all and justice will come for them.
