Trump Haters Still Spewing Venom Even After 2nd Assassination Attempt
‘No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon’
By Katy Grimes, September 16, 2024 8:05 am
UPDATE below: Former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt July 13th. Sunday, another assassination attempt was made on Trump’s life by a man armed with an AK-47-style rifle at his West Palm Beach golf course while playing golf – the second attempt in two months.
And after two months of largely ignoring the first assassination attempt on Trump, following the second shooting, Democrat lawmakers and leftist media have been making vile statements and even trying to blame the former president.
Following the attack MSNBC host Alex Witt questioned whether Trump and his campaign needed to “tone down their rhetoric” after the second assassination attempt in two months.
Yet, here is former Senator Claire McCaskill in a recent interview on MSNBC, saying President Trump is more dangerous than Mussolini and Hitler.
Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries posted on X/Twitter: “Extreme MAGA Republicans are the party of a national abortion ban and Trump’s Project 2025,” he wrote. “We must stop them.”
Democrats are fomenting political violence all over social media and in media interviews. It is stunning that Jeffries can post something so vile after another assassination attempt on President Trump’s life.
Rachel Vindman, the wife of opprobrious Trump-impeachment conspirator Alexander Vindman, “No ears were harmed,” Vindman mocked. “Carry on with your Sunday afternoon.”
Also on X/Twitter, Lester Holt concluded that Trump “deserved to be shot” and “brought this on himself.
The Sacramento Bee had the assassination story at the bottom of the front page with this headline:
President Joe Biden said the Secret Service “needs more help,” funding and changes President Biden has the power to make.
The mainstream media is describing the assassination attempt as an “incident,” saying “allegedly,” and “apparent” assassination.
These clips from MSNBC show anchors and politicians calling Trump a “threat to Democracy,” a “greasy pig,” comparing him to “autocrats, kleptocrats and dictators all around the world,” claiming this election is about democracy and freedom versus dictatorship and authoritarianism.”
A Florida newspaper posted this headline: Trump safe after gunfight near Florida golf club.”
Independent journalist Kyle Becker posted Sunday evening:
JUST IN: The FBI official who just briefed America about the latest Trump assassinat*on investigation, Jeffrey Veltri, is a notorious Trump hater. Veltri, the head of FBI Miami Field Office, was so outspoken about his Trump-deranged Facebook posts that agents were ordered to scrub them before he could be promoted to head the Miami field office. The whistleblower told the House Judiciary Committee that Mr. Veltri was “adamantly and vocally anti-Trump.” The whistleblower added that FBI Director Christopher A. Wray, Deputy Director Paul Abbate and Executive Assistant Director Jennifer Moore were all involved in directing Veltri to disinfect his social media. This is who Americans are being asked to trust for reliable information about the Trump assassinat*on attempt and the security failures leading up to it. Maybe the FBI should stop promoting hyper-partisan extremists to head field offices.
Issues & Insights reports Joe Biden failed to do the one thing a functioning President must do after the first assassination attempt on former President Trump’s life:
That one required act was this: after accepting the immediate resignation of the then-director of the Secret Service, to call in the entire next level of that agency’s management along with the secretary of Homeland Security, the attorney general and the directors of the FBI, CIA, NSA, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Explosives.
No report has been filed that Joseph Robinette Biden, inaugurated as president of the United States at noon, Jan. 20, 2021 – whether legitimately or not – held such a meeting, laid down such an ultimatum, uttered such an interrogatory, or gave such a directive.
Donald Trump Jr. posted a gut-wrenching thought:
With the second assassination attempt on former President Trump, Sen. Josh Hawley released New Whistleblower Report Detailing Secret Service Failures Surrounding the Attempted Assassination of President Trump on the first assassination attempt in Butler, PA.
“The Hawley Report’s findings are highly damaging to the credibility of the Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). They reveal a compounding pattern of negligence, sloppiness, and gross incompetence that goes back years, all of which culminated in an assassination attempt that came inches from succeeding.”
Remember, the Secret Service admitted in July that it denied Trump additional resources in recent years even as his team complained, CNN reported.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said the suspect, 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, was apprehended after a witness took a photo of the vehicle. The Sheriff said an AK-47-style rifle, two backpacks, and a GoPro camera stashed in the bushes.
And the former president and candidate – what did he say after the attempted assassination?
“Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER!”
UPDATE:
The Trump Vance campaign team posted the lengthy list of abhorrent and hateful statements against President Trump, which doesn’t take an investigator to determine has led up to the first and second assassination attempts. We are very concerned there will be more before November 5, 2024:

- Rick Wilson, The Lincoln Project: “They’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump.”
- Former Harris-Biden staffer Kate Bedingfield: Democrats should “turn their fire on Donald Trump.”
“That doesn’t even include the dangerous rhetoric against President Trump spewed by deranged Democrats during the 2016 and 2020 elections, the impeachment hoaxes, and the Summer of Love.
Meanwhile, the deplorable commentary from Democrats and the Fake News in the aftermath of the latest assassination attempt has been even worse:
- Rep. Hakeem Jeffries: “We must stop [Trump].”
- Rachel Vindman, wife of disgraced impeachment hoax ‘witness’: “No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon.”
- Rep. Mikie Sherrill: “This really seems to be the confluence of two very bad things going on in the Republican Party … the attempts to divide, to enrage the population.”
- State Rep. Steven Woodrow (D-CO): “The last thing America needed was sympathy for the devil but here we are.”

- Bill Kristol, The Bulwark: “Vance … incite[s] potential violence with lies.”
- Ron Filipkowski, liberal commentator: “Was the golf course guy with the gun a migrant?”
- David Frum, The Atlantic: “Trump and his running mate have spent the past week successfully inciting violence … today they want to present themselves as near-victims of violence.”

- The Cincinnati Enquirer: “The former president, Donald Trump, brings a lot of this stuff on himself.”

- NBC News: “Golf course incident.”
- Bloomberg: Trump “seizing on assassination attempt.”
“Democrats and the Fake News must immediately cease their inflammatory, violent rhetoric against President Trump — which was mimicked by yesterday’s would-be asssassin.”

I cannot dismiss suspicions that members of the intelligence community may be involved. Routh was prepared and waiting for Trump. How did he know where and when to be, when Mr. Trump made a “last minute” decision to go golfing? Is there an intelligence asset (foreign or domestic) embedded at the golf course or Mar-a-Lago? The assassin drove down from North Carolina. Was he tipped off hours in advance?
God Bless President Trump! and may God bring the haters to Divine Justice!
God please bless and protect President Donald J. Trump.
NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt’s comments blaming President Trump for the assassination attempts against him were despicable and it shows that Holt is nothing more than a deep-state propagandist stooge who needs to be fired. Holt has ties to the Sacramento area. He graduated from Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova in 1977 and he majored in government at California State University, Sacramento but he never graduated. He’s a DEI affirmative action flunky who reads whatever is put before him on the teleprompter?
This afternoon the Trump campaign released a list of every Democrat and enabler who used violent language against Trump which led to 2nd assassination attempt. It was a long list that included Biden, Harris, Maxine Waters, Rep. Dan Goldman, Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, the Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson, Lester Holt, and Rachel Vindman, wife of Trump-Ukraine impeachment conspirator Alexander Vindman.
Meanwhile, the bumbling corpse Biden said today that the Secret Service needs more personnel after a probable assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump a day earlier. More help at what? Hiring more qualified assassins?
The Secret Service already employs 3,200 special agents, 1,300 Uniformed Division officers, and 2,000 others but mysteriously two armed assassins have been within a few hundred yards of President Trump?
What a nightmare. Will it ever end?
I admire President Trump’s courage under fire, his love of country and his fight to strengthen this country and purge the enemies from within.
I believe God is using Trump to help heal our country and expose those who want to destroy the very fabric of our American culture, the love of God, Family and Country.
We must all remain steadfast in our support of the American First movement and Donald J. Trump.
Ephesians 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said Monday on “Deadline” that the connection between political violence and the “rhetoric” of former president Donald Trump is “undeniable.”
Who is this despicable woman?
Wallace grew up in the wealthy SF Bay Area City of Orinda where the majority of voters are registered Democrats. She received a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994 and a master’s degree from the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism in 1996.
Wallace then worked for a series of globalist RINOs starting with former Florida Governor Jeb Bush as his press secretary. She joined the White House staff during George W. Bush’s first term, serving as special assistant to the President and director of media affairs at the White House, where she oversaw regional press strategy and outreach. In 2003, Wallace joined Bush’s 2004 presidential campaign as its communications director. On January 5, 2005, Bush named Wallace as White House Communications Director. Wallace served as a senior advisor for the John McCain 2008 presidential campaign. In September 2011, Wallace published the sequel to her first novel entitled “Eighteen Acres, It’s Classified”, about a fictional presidential campaign troubled by a mentally ill vice presidential candidate. Wallace said the premise was inspired by her experience as a senior adviser to the McCain/Palin campaign. Eight years after the election, Wallace stated that she did not vote for a presidential candidate in 2008 because Sarah Palin gave her pause.
In 2014, ABC announced Wallace would join The View as a new co-host but she exited the series at the end of the season. Following her departure from The View, Wallace joined NBC News and its cable network MSNBC as a political analyst. Since 2017, Wallace has been the anchor of the afternoon news and opinion program “Deadline: White House on MSNBC.”
Wallace described herself as a “self-loathing former Republican” in March 2021 and told “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert what really scared her about the Republican Party was its capitulation to former President Donald Trump.
Nicole Wallace is evil and as deep-state as they come?
It’s simple. The Democrat campaign is devoid of issues, and instead relies only on the hate of one man, Donald Trump. This is what you get.
Yes, Rod. Not only does the evil rhetoric trigger deranged would-be assasins, it also triggers millions of moron voters who are incapable of comprehending issues but are easily swayed by slogans such as “Orange man bad” and “Trump is Hitler.” Winston Churchill correctly said, “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.”
Thank you for compiling this comprehensive (and loathsome) compilation of prominent Democrat politicians and their despicable utterances against their opposition candidate.
Thank you also to the other posters who did a deep-dive into the background of the “self-loathing former Republican” headline-reader.
Isn’t it interesting that so many of the Democrat politicians rail about threats to “OUR Democracy(TM)”…
Is that a Democrat dog-whistle code-word euphemism for COMMUNISM???
$ure seems like it…
Wrt, the “Trump haters” going back to 2016 and forward, including those within the intelligence community – CIA, FBI, NSA, Homeland Security – it is inconceivable that Routh would NOT be on their radar and even used as a possible “asset”? He was very prominent in Ukraine recruiting foreign fighters and being interviewed by media like Newsweek and the New York Times. This is the sort of thing that leads to conspiracy theories. We need FULL transparency in the investigations: https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/would-be-trump-assassin-palled-around-neo-nazi-azov-brigade-ukraine-what-did
P.S. It is also very curious to me that, when he was detained and arrested, his demeanor was very calm and undisturbed as described by one of the arresting officers. Why? Is he not concerned or worried?
Tools never seem to understand they are disposable once their usefulness is over.
Routh says that his wife paid for all of his trips to Ukraine, Taiwan, Afghanistan…..So, where did his wife get the money to fund his recruiting efforts to find “freedom fighters”? There’s MORE to this:

Thank you Katie for writing this article. On Wednesday Gerald and I introduced the following resolution at our Alameda Republican Central Committee. It passed unaimously!

Emergency Resolution 2024-09 – The Alameda County Republican Party Central Committee, resolved:
Whereas:
We are reaching across the aisle to ALL Candidates, Democrat, Republican, and NPP to STOP NOW and END THE PATTERN OF PROMOTING VIOLENT RHETORIC AND CONDONING, ENCOURAGING AND DEMANDING VIOLENCE against former President Trump.
We absolutely agree with Alameda County 17th District Democratic Congressman, Ro Khanna, who stated in an op-ed published by the Washington Post on September 16th where he stated unequivocally, “Two assassination attempts in 60 days on the Republican nominee is a massive security failure that not only Jeopardizes former President Donald Trump’s life but puts our nation’s social cohesion and faith in the democratic process at risk.”
Therefore:
The Alameda County Republican Party Central Committee:
Demands Vice-President Kamala Harris TAKE THE FIRST STEP IN ISSUING A CLEAR STATEMENT DENOUNCING THE VIOLENT RHETORIC THAT SHE AND HER COLLEAGUES HAVE PROMOTED IN HUNDREDS OF SPEECHES AND STATEMENTS IN RECENT MONTHS
Calls for All Candidates to tone down the rhetoric that will go a long way to preventing any further violence and threats as witnessed in the recent two assassination attempts against former President Trump
