Bekim Çollaku is a former Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Kosovo. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Ghent, Faculty of Law and Criminology in Belgium. His distinguished political career includes serving as Chief of Staff for the President of the Republic of Kosovo, from 2016 to 2020. He also served as Minister for European Integration between 2014 and 2016. Earlier, Mr. Çollaku was the Chief of Staff for the Prime Minister of Kosovo from 2008 to 2014 and advised the Prime Minister of Kosovo from 2003 to 2004. Çollaku was a member of the Kosovo negotiating team in the EU’s facilitated Political Dialogue for the Normalization of Relations between Kosovo and Serbia between 2011 and 2014. His involvement with civil society includes a stint as a researcher at the Kosovar Institute for Policy Research and Development (KIPRED) from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, from 2004 to 2010, he worked as an assistant at the University of Prishtina in the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Political Sciences. Mr. Çollaku holds a Master's degree in International Studies from the University ofNewcastle upon Tyne, England.
