He graduated from SJSU in marketing and business and has worked 40 years in the commercial construction industry in the South Bay, from marketing to estimating to project management doing “design-build” projects, mostly for high-tech companies. Dave owns two businesses related to commercial construction - one since 1994 and the other he started in 2010. A lifelong conservative and active in politics since college, he won a seat on the central committee and became the chairman of the Republican Party in Santa Clara County in January of 2025.
