Campa-Najjar Caught on Video: ‘Pare Down’ ICE Enforcement as Criminals Threaten Americans

He recently demanded on X that DHS Secretary Kristi Noem resign immediately after activist tried to run over ICE agent in Minnesota

This week, the Congressional Progressive Caucus made the Democrats’ agenda clear to all: “The Congressional Progressive Caucus adopted a policy of opposing new funding for immigration enforcement within DHS “unless there are meaningful and significant reforms to immigration enforcement practices,” NBC reporter Kyle Stewart posted to X.

They plan to defund ICE, weaken Customs and Border Patrol, and leave the U.S. border wide open. They even threatened to block funding for the Department of Homeland Security unless border enforcement is stripped out.

Ammar Campa-Najjar is running for Congress again, and once again, against Rep. Darrell Issa.

His official campaign website says:

“Ammar Campa-Najjar is a former Obama Administration official, AFT-union educator, and U.S. Navy officer who is ready to fight and win California’s 48th Congressional District for the people. In his previous campaign, Ammar came within single-digits of defeating Darrell Issa, earning 166,869 votes — more than any Democrat in the area’s history. Now, with recent changes to CA-48, Ammar is uniquely positioned to flip this must-win seat from red to blue.”

Ammar Campa-Najjar’s partner is Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA), and part of the Congressional Progressive Caucus hawking far-left policies – abortion, single-payer government health care (Medicare for All) and radical Climate Change policies including a zero-carbon economy by 2030. Notably, she is worth $76 million as her grandfather is billionaire businessman Irwin M. Jacobs, a co-founder and former chairman of the semiconductor company Qualcomm. Jacobs is newest member of Minority leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries’ leadership team.

Now, new video shows that on November 18, 2025, Ammar Campa-Najjar attended a CA-48 Candidate forum in San Diego where he said the quiet part out loud, declaring that if elected to Congress he would look at ICE and the Department of Homeland Security and push to “pare it down, not pare it up.”

Campa-Najjar argued that there’s a “strong argument to be made that they’re doing a lot more than they should be doing.” He added, “It’s what I believe.”

“Out of touch Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar is openly calling to weaken ICE and shrink border enforcement to satisfy a radical vendetta against law enforcement, and he doesn’t care how many Californians are put at risk in the process. This isn’t a gaffe, it’s Campa-Najjar’s ideology.” – Christian Martinez NRCC spokesman.

Believe what Ammar Campa-Najjar says.

He recently demanded on X that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem resign immediately after a Minnesota activist tried to run over an ICE agent in Minnesota:

“Let’s be clear about what happened. Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed by ICE. I am gravely concerned that the recent escalation of state-based violence will continue and reach communities across CA-48 —in Escondido, Temecula, and other areas where ICE has been active. ICE needs to leave public safety to local law enforcement and stop endangering our communities.  Due to the repeated incidents of misconduct, fatal failures, and a loss of confidence in her leadership, I call on Secretary Kristi Noem to resign immediately.”

There are currently 12 Democrats running against Congressman Issa, including the multi-loser Ammar Campa-Najjar, who lost to Darrell Issa in 2020 by 8% (just over 28.5K votes) in the general election, as the Globe reported.

Lloyd Billingsley has documented Ammar Campa-Najjir extensively since his early political days, including when in August of 2023, Campa-Najjir joined the U.S. Navy at age 34:

“Ammar Campa-Najjar, described as the ‘the son of a Mexican American mother and a Middle Eastern immigrant father,’ served in the Obama labor department and worked on the president’s reelection campaign in 2012. At the time it did not emerge that Ammar was the grandson of Muhammad Yusuf al-Najjar, mastermind of the 1972 terrorist attack at the Munich Olympics that claimed the lives of 11 Israeli athletes.

“In 2003, Linda Gradstein of National Public Radio interviewed Yasser al-Najjar at his office in Gaza. Al-Najjar was then serving as ‘the head of the European division in the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Planning and Cooperation.’

Al-Najjar did not explain when, exactly, he entered the United States, earned an MBA from San Diego State, and operated three clothing boutiques. His son Ammar lived in Gaza but claims he was born in San Diego. If anybody thought Ammar’s story is unbelievable it would be hard to blame them.

The self-described Latino Arab-American lost runs for Congress in 2018 and 2022.

How the terrorist’s son Yasser al-Najjar managed to enter the United States is a matter of some mystery.”

As Secretary Karoline Leavitt noted, while Americans enjoyed their weekend, ICE agents were risking their lives arresting the worst criminal illegal aliens…exactly as Democrats push to weaken enforcement.
