Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrats Are Asking For a World of Trouble for Protecting Illegal Immigrants

Newsom’s plan could very well protect the wrong kind of people

President-elect Donald Trump has big plans for fixing Joe Biden’s mistakes when he re-enters the White House next month.

He’s already discussed a great deal of these plans, especially when it comes to the ongoing illegal immigration situation. He’s already planning to work with his administration on mass deportation, sending those that snuck into this country back across the border, with the help of ICE agents and his returning “border czar,” Tom Homan.

And he’s making other considerations as well, including the potential return of Title 42, which was quite effective during the COVID era; along with backing the idea of H-1B Visas, as suggested by Tesla and X site owner Elon Musk.

But, of course, there’s a fly in the ointment. There are several Democrats out there that aren’t thrilled with the idea of mass deportation, believing it to be an “inhumane” action for those immigrants that don’t deserve to leave the country. And, unfortunately, they’ve already begun taking action to assure that Trump – and, for that matter, their own citizens – don’t get their way.

One particularly big problem is California Governor Gavin Newsom. In a report recently revealed at Politico, his administration has begun putting together what’s called an “Immigrant Support Network Concept.” It will reportedly be “comprised of regional ‘hubs’ to connect at-risk individuals, their families, and communities with community systems — such as legal services, schools, labor unions, local governments, etc.”

Though everything is still under review, the hubs will likely “collect details about community needs” that could serve as a thorn in the side to Trump’s plans.

I don’t think Newsom understands what Trump is trying to do when it comes to mass deportation.

Trump isn’t trying to rip families apart. That’s not on his agenda in the least. He did note that the team at ICE would be looking at each matter case-by-case, and not just shoving everyone onto a bus and sending them back across the border.

But, that said, Newsom’s plan could very well protect the wrong kind of people. There are those illegal immigrants out there that have entered our country and created the worst kind of chaos. Killing American citizens, namely women that were unable to defend themselves. Creating a criminal empire, such as Venezuelan gangs, that are partaking in illegal activities like prostitution, assault and robbery.

The goal of Trump’s deportation plan is to clear out the bad apples that have plagued this country after Biden’s relaxed policy allowed them to slip right in. The idea of restoring Title 42 and putting restrictions back in place – restrictions, by the way, that should have never been lifted – is the best kind of idea.

I’m not an uncompassionate man. I’m not. If there are documented migrants that came into our country and are doing their part to simply build a good life for themselves, that’s great. By all means.

But, again, there are a majority that came into this country based on the wrong principles and the wrong ideas. And they are causing havoc, taking refuge in locations that are being paid for with tax dollars provided by U.S. citizens. The fact that Newsom and other feeble-minded Democrats want to protect the illegal immigrants and not help their own citizens in the least makes little to no sense to me. Wouldn’t you want to help the people that voted you into office?

I’m going to be keeping a close eye on this situation as it unfolds. Trump has big plans to take the United States back to prosperous heights (as he should), reshuffling government agencies so that they’re doing their job again – and not just Biden’s bidding.

But that means everyone being on board and not serving as a problem for what the big picture means. I really hope Newsom and his allies get a better idea of what that’s all about, rather than following an agenda that could continue to do this country harm.

Let’s all make 2025 the best it can be, and not a repeat year of mistakes.

  1. This is maybe one of the biggest reasons we left CA. I hated that my tax dollars went to programs like these that Newsom and democrats use against my wishes. Good riddance CA.

  2. obviously once gov newsome plans help criminals and it’s proven that he’s not helping the good illegals but the bad ones he will finally be done in politics. this plan is his is terrible it’ll cost millions of tax payer money but it will be his downfall. the very smart illegal criminals will use him and use his good will to take advantage of tax payers and once it’s proven he is burnt toast.
