The California Legislature is scheduled to adjourn its 2022 Legislative Session likely around midnight on Wednesday, August 31. The following is a quick look at some of the highlights as the Session winds down next week:
How Many Measures Are Left this Final Week?
The following is a snapshot of remaining measures as of August 26:
The Senate has about 340 measures remaining in its committees and on its Floor. The Assembly has about 210 measures remaining in its committees and on its Floor. The Senate has just over 70 more ABs on its Floor than the Assembly has of SBs on its Floor.

In politics voting is negotiable. Tradeoffs are expected and mainly personal, either for enrichment or garnering political capital. To be a politician your conscience be damned.
