Newsom’s Leaked Draft Redistricting Maps Show Gerrymandering on Steroids of California’s New Congressional Districts
Democrats’ mid-decade gerrymander of California’s congressional map

California Governor Gavin Newsom seeks political retribution against President Trump and Texas Governor Greg Abbott by eliminating five out of nine Republican districts to “save democracy.”
KCRA’s Ashley Zavala reported: “CA draft maps were submitted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to CALeg officially. @dccc said in statement it anticipates it will have support from office holders & stakeholders across CA.”

Rob Pyers, Research Director for the non-partisan California Target Book, posted California Governor Gavin Newsom’s leaked redistricting maps, and the fur is flying.
Pyers’ “Mitchellmanderer” reference: Paul Mitchell is Gov. Newsom’s redistricting map creator tasked with creating five new Democratic members of Congress. He is “setting the lines for Democrats’ mid-decade gerrymander of California’s congressional map,” as the Globe reported Friday in California Media Ignores Redistricting ‘Power Couple’ Jodi Hicks and Paul Mitchell.

Oh this is such garbage. The slicing and dicing of Orange County cities is obscene. Newport Beach split into two districts, with the top half packed in with … Long Beach? Fountain Valley now with Norwalk? In a district that looks like a hieroglyph? Mission Viejo appears to be split into three congressional districts? Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher had plenty to say about the gerrymandering of congressional districts:
“Don’t p–s on my boots and tell me it’s raining. These are rigged maps drawn in secret to give Democrat politicians more power by dismantling the independent commission Californians created to keep them out of map-drawing,” said Assembly Republican Leader James Gallagher (R-East Nicolaus) after legislative Democrats via DCCC leaked their rigged maps.
Contrast Gallagher’s statement with Democrat Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas’s:
“Legislative Democrats Announce Plan Empowering Voters to Protect California.”
”These maps shred the fair, transparent process voters demanded. The independent commission spent months gathering public input, holding 196 public meetings, hearing 3,870 verbal comments and collecting 32,410 written submissions before finalizing the current maps. Democrat politicians are throwing that work in the trash for a rigged scheme cooked up behind closed doors.”
Gallagher said Democrats are barreling the maps through the Legislature to meet an arbitrary deadline, forcing them onto the November special election ballot at taxpayer expense and with no real opportunity for public input.
“This is a mockery of democracy,” Gallagher said. “If they can neuter the commission here, they can neuter it anywhere. Californians should choose their representatives, not the other way around.
Adding insult to injury, Central Valley Assemblywoman Alexandra Macedo posted this – apparently someone forgot to notify her of an elections committee hearing coming up:
As San Diego Assemblyman Carl DeMaio said, “Newsom’s Scheme to Redraw Maps is ‘Illegal, Unconstitutional, Unnecessary’ ‘All of this is already being penciled-in in backroom meetings controlled by Gavin Newsom and his cronies.’”

This is SICKENING and actually downright INDECENT. But not a surprise, is it, given it comes from the most experienced election cheaters in the state, who are no doubt drooling, as we speak, to think this might actually happen for them and their fellow bottom-feeders.

They might as well put forth a ballot measures that outlaws all political parties but Democrats in the state. We all know the idiot votes in this state would still vote for that. It would just cut to the chase and give them what they are trying to accomplish anyway.

Maybe Newscum can explain how state controlled district gerrymandering “defeats unAmerican authoritarianism”. I think what he means is his campaign is to bring “American authoritarianism” to the country and “democracy” is where only Democrats control the people and the voting system.

Those outlines that are highlighted resemble 2 key agendas for these leftist elites!

The second outline highlighted looks like a pre-born infant not an elephant, although I can see that as well. They never hide their true intentions and always say the quiet part out loud.

Everything the Democrats DO is a big FU to Californians, PERIOD, FULL STOP….
Newsom asserts that CA climate laws are needed to reduce CO2 emissions to set an example for doing what’s right, even if not practical. In opposite fashion, Newsom also asserts that redistricting, though admittedly wrong, is the practical thing needed doing and does not see an opportunity to set an example for doing what’s right. His moral compass is a whirling weathervane.
The main thing everyone (in the country, now) needs to understand about Gavin is that Gavin never does anything that isn’t about Gavin’s political advancement. He has no core, no principles, he is not interested in doing “what’s right,” he has no problem with lying or the bizarre picture created by his obvious use of psychological projection, where he accuses others —Trump, for instance — of what Gavin himself so obviously and ruinously does.
To call him a leftist, even a Democrat, gives him too much credit. He has a well-documented history —- from his time of first political appointment decades ago — of reinventing himself whenever necessary to advance himself on the political game board. It doesn’t matter to him how preposterous his U-turns are, how off-the-wall his new “cause” appears to the public, how much he lies; he is always motivated by his idea of how he can advance, and he has wanted the White House prize for who-even-knows-how-long at this point. He has no morals, no ethics, no religion except, of course, the Religion of Gavin.
What seems to confuse us all at times as the state and its people suffer under his non-leadership and the resulting wreckage is that we look at him and say “why NOT govern properly? Why NOT try to apply yourself to solving the problems of California? Why NOT do the right thing? Wouldn’t that win the support and power position you crave like an addict?”
But for whatever reason this is not how he operates. He is upside-down in his thinking and actions like so many of our desperate and unsavory politicians. Gavin is just more flagrant and attention-getting about it than most. I don’t think I’m alone in being thoroughly sick and tired of Gavin and no longer wanting to give him the attention he craves. But he is a liar and a cheat and has a history of destruction. He should be in leg irons and rotting in prison for his crimes and a distant bad memory by now but he’s not and the rest of the country has to be warned about this menace who, as we know all too well, has a very bad case of malignant narcissistic personality disorder.

Hey everyone the cabal that is driving this has a lot and I mean a lot of money to sell this to the uninformed public.
They also have legions of foot soldiers that do not have to show I.D. to vote.
If you all really want to stop this you will have to ante up and talk aloud to news casters and neighbors.

@Enough Already, I don’t think it will be as easy to defeat as you might think. Commucrats have tons of money from unions, billionaires like George Soros (19 billionaires gave money to defeat Newscum’s recall), support from most of the media who will run endless unpaid advertisements, illegal immigrant votes, ballot harvesting, no voter ID, voter rolls that have never been cleaned up, and fake mail-in votes that can come in weeks after the election. If cheating wasn’t easy enough already, California has “Print Your Ballot” at home (called Remote Accessible Vote-by-Mail). They don’t need to harvest ballots. They just print. I’d love to see the website logs for that site showing how many ballots were printed from a single IP address. The Commucrats have thought of everything to cheat in an election.
You’re right, Protect Freedom. The Ways of the Cheat are many, for sure. I think a big one with Vote by Mail is the ballots printed from bloated and dirty voter rolls that produce who-knows-how-many “deadwood” ballots that can be stockpiled through various methods and distributed to, say, the SEIU et al zombies in a boiler room (this is a way to paint a picture, it is not necessarily literal) who fill them out as instructed and dropbox or mail them. By the way, one of the advantages (for the cheaters) of “free postage” on your mail-in-ballot is No Postmark, No Date.

We must be determined, however, to vote in HUGE numbers on this one to overwhelm the cheat.
