Steve Hilton Show: Newsom Proposes Tax Credits for Hollywood, Shirks Other Industries
Katy Grimes joins the Steve Hilton Show
By Katy Grimes, October 30, 2024 5:30 pm
I joined Steve Hilton to discuss Gov. Newsom’s proposed tax credit for Hollywood and how it shirks other industries. We also covered How to Kill a State in 5 Easy Steps: Gavin Newsom’s California, as well as the election. I begin at 46:22 with Steve.
Ahead of my segment is State Assembly Candidate Carl DeMaio from Reform California, who discusses his run against a fellow Republican.
Following my segment is Matt Gunderson, running for U.S. House District 49, who talks about his race and lays out the importance of his seat in the House of Representatives.
Lastly, Steve wraps up this plethora of Candidate Corner’s with Ian Weeks and his race for U.S. House District 25

Awesome interview, Katy!
One question, are we sure Schiff does not have gold bars in his freezer? 😏
No doubt nefarious sources like the CCP and the cartels have bestowed many gifts including gold bars to the creepy, pathologically lying, pencil neck, bug-eyed Schiff?
Steve Hilton seemed to drone on and on before finally interviewing Katy who made many substantive points during the interview? Katy looked lovely in that black outfit with her highlighted blond hair?
Not sure about Steve Hilton and his run for governor? While Hilton was still living in the U.K., he worked with former Prime Minister David Cameron to re-brand the Conservative Party to be more green and progressive. Hilton talked of the need to “replace” the traditionally minded grassroots membership of the Conservative Party, which he saw as preventing the party from embracing a more metropolitan attitude on social issues. That’s troubling?
Hilton currently lives in the wealthy Bay Area enclave of Atherton and he’s married to Rachel Whetstone, former head of communications at Google, former senior vice-president of policy and communications of Uber, and current chief communications officer of Netflix.
Agree with you, TJ (and Raymond, on the subject of Hilton — we need to wait and see who emerges for Gov), about Hilton and Katy Grimes. Was heartened to hear our seasoned and trusted Katy Grimes talk about viable hope for CA, because we remember, don’t we, the brutal TDS in 2017, against all reason, under Brown and then that prick Newsom. Have also always contended that CA is NOT “deep blue,” and maybe not even “purple.” Many Californians have awakened, we’ve definitely been toughened up to be almost bullet-proof from what we’ve endured from Gavin & The Gang, and then there’s the practical matter of inaccurate and phony Dem registration (Motor Voter et al) leading us astray and feeding “the cheat” as well as steadily increasing registration of Conservatives/Repubs in the state. We’ll see, of course.
I also think there is a good chance that we could be “surprised” by a Garvey win for U.S. Senator. I know people were disappointed and even angry that he didn’t campaign as we would have liked. But he already had the name recognition, so he didn’t need to hammer that as most candidates do, and he WAS out there enough for people to see who he was. It occurred to me when I pulled out my ballot that when voters actually SEE the names and the choice, what are they likely to do when push comes to shove? Vote for that deeply corrupt lying liar Schiff? Not bloody likely! Repubs for sure, and I think most “independents,” and why not even sensible Dems choose Garvey.
A good dose of optimism for CA’s future, in general. We’ll see what happens, of course!
TJ, my preference for CA governor would not be Hilton. There are several people I would prefer including Richard Grenell, Devin Nunes and others.
Raymond, my first sentence above was awkward, if you saw it. I was trying to convey that i agree with your non-preference for Hilton. 🙂
I think Ric Grenell would be awesome! A Californian who is America First.
Love that.
gavin still has aspirations for the Whitehouse and think that the voters pay attention to the hollyweird influencers. We know that they are and have been recognized as members of the elitists who support a One World Order.
