Following an endorsement by President Donald J. Trump, Steve Hilton held a press conference Tuesday morning at the California State Capitol to discuss his plan to make “CaliFordable” again, noting that he and the President had a good, brief conversation Sunday night.

“I am honored to have the president’s endorsement,” Hilton said. “The president’s endorsement will bring me the opportunity to bring more people behind my message of change.”

He said it will lead to “consolidation on the Republican side,” preventing a Republican from being locked out of the top two this November. “Californians must have the option to vote for change in November. That means a strong Republican candidate,” he added.

Hilton said in order to prioritize California families, he is focused on his “CaliFordable” plan, and in doing so:

  • There will be NO state income tax for people who earn less than $100,000 per year.
  • He will drop the 1+ million illegal immigrants from full Medi-Cal coverage, and would support providing limited Medicaid, like other states already do.
  • He will fire up California natural gas again for electricity generation, which will significantly cut utility bills.
  • He will continue to target fraud through his CalDOGE.
  • Hilton says he will end Democrats’ climate dogma.
  • He said increasing gas/oil production throughout the state will deliver $3 per gallon gas.
  • He will end the war on single family homes and instead place common sense regulations on construction.

Notably, Gov. Newsom is violating federal law by subsidizing illegal immigrant health care by placing them on Medi-Cal, bankrupting the subsidized low-income health system.

“This is about taking on a system that is broken,” Hilton said. And he noted that President Trump’s endorsement is important in helping to make this happen.

Hilton added that California families come first. No more prioritizing illegal immigration over hardworking Californians.

  1. Our President says “Hilton!” That’s good enough for me. I’m down for Steve all the way! MAGA!

  2. Although I personally don’t care for President Trump’s PERSONALITY, I respect his POLICIES very much and I was already leaning towards Hilton after seeing his position on homeowners insurance and restoring preventative wildland fuel reduction.
See the other article on that topic by Herb Morgan, who is on the “Golden Ticket” for Controller and Attorney General.
Along with Stacy Korsgaden for Insurance Commissioner, I feel confident that positive change can take place in California.
Imagine a State Government that is NOT figuratively constantly at war with the President and doing stupid things via emotion-driven policy setting and globalist or CCP,,-supported entities??? What a relief!!!
Maybe all the Uhaul trucks will come back when people realize that California governance makes sense again and the Democrat trash policies have been taken out!!!
