The Greenberg Brief: Joe Biden and Voters’ Opportunity

Democrats across the nation now have an opportunity with Joe Biden dropping out of Presidential race

With president Joe Biden’s announcement, Democrats across the nation now have an opportunity to pull their party’s leadership towards the political center. These past several years have shown a propensity for elected Democrats from the White House down to local officials to create, implement and further embrace radical ideology. The next presidential candidates can rally to rectify their party’s transgressions.

Kamala Harris should not become the nominee at the Democratic convention mere weeks from today. Nor should Gavin Newsom. No extremist Left-wing officials who’ve espoused Marxist, radical ideology should be elevated to the nation’s highest office. Take it from us in San Francisco. Here in the belly of the beast, today’s ideologues have ruined our city with the defunding of our police, enabling retail collapse,  protecting drug dealers, recklessly wasting taxpayers’ funds and then lied about it.

San Francisco has produced a disproportionately high number of politicians now on the national stage serving as a stark reminder to America how not to govern. This city is, in effect, a radical activist factory: From Kamala Harris to Nancy Pelosi, to Governor Gavin Newsom, California Attorney General Rob Bonta and state senator Scott Wiener to Mayor London Breed and many city council members. Each embrace pushing illogical, reckless, destructive and unaccountable policies. They trample the constitution, ignore the Civil Rights Act and shun Supreme Court rulings. They embrace the agendas of Soros-backed DAs.

The Democratic Party must temper their platform and force Marxist ideologues out. We as a country cannot survive with such officials  placing skin color, ancestry, gender identity and the perceived measure of generational oppression over virtued principles of individual opportunity, rewarding of hard work and merit and success.  Democrats’ failed DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) policies have led to cities in steep decline while putting a cult-like devotion to party over criminal accountability, over secure borders, over quality education, over supporting small businesses, over quality of life, over fairness in sports. Its time to reject pervasive bigotry, antisemitism, intolerance, the exploiting of gender confusion and dismissing of merit.

Democratic voters have a unique opportunity for serious introspection, with a responsibility to push back against party leaders. The time to take action is now.
