Dining on Word Salads: Is Kamala Harris Out to Lunch?

Can we just be unburdened from Harris?

By Katy Grimes, July 29, 2024 10:56 am

“Can we just be unburdened from VP Kamala Harris?” is a frequent question on X/Twitter these days.

Whether the topic is electric school buses, a Venn Diagram, or the passage of time, Vice President Kamala Harris dishes up said topics in a blender-tossed word salad rather than rather than savoring them. And the bankrupt media gives her a pass.

“Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus,” she said during a Seattle appearance in 2022:

“So here’s the thing: Who doesn’t love a yellow school bus, right?  Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus, right? Just — there’s something about the — and — and most of us, many of us went to school on the yellow school bus, right?  And it’s part of — it’s part of our — our experience growing up.

It’s part of, you know, a nostalgia and a memory of — of the excitement and joy of going to school to be with your favorite teacher, to be with your best friends, and to learn.”

The last time someone said “so here’s the thing” to me, I was talking with a 12-year old girl.

VP Harris’s most frequently used statement needs additional dressing and blue cheese crumbles: “I can imagine what can be, unburdened by what has been.”

This brilliant statement surely led the Washington Free Beacon to create the Kamala Cackle Button on its home page, as I posted on X/Twitter.

Anyone else in politics silly or dense enough to say “We invested an additional $12 billion into community banks, because we know community banks are in the community, and understand the needs and desires of that community as well as the talent and capacity of community,” would be savaged by the legacy press.

Even when Harris claims her mother asked, “I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people – you think you just fell out of a coconut tree?” no one but Harris knows what she is talking about… including this:

“I love Venn diagrams. I really do, I love Venn diagrams,” Harris blathered in a speech in October 2022. It’s just something about those three circles and the analysis about where there is the intersection, right?”

The Twitter replies were priceless, and this one suggested, “She’s jacked up on something more than bong hits and booze.”

During her speech to Highland Park, Chicago residents following the July 4th mass shooting, which killed seven people and injured more than 30, Harris said, “We’ve got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to take this seriously.”

The Independent UK reported responses to Harris’s “incoherence:”

  • There ARE some jobs where you shouldn’t be allowed to drink on the clock,” screenwriter Josh Olson joked.
  • Pradheep Shanker, a contributor to the conservative magazine National Review tweeted: “She is amazingly bad at this.”
  • “Every single 10 second ‘speech’ she gives feels like an excruciatingly long 2nd grade book report where it’s very obvious the student didn’t read a damn thing,” Ross Jutsu wrote.

Imagine giving this answer to a media question about the Biden Covid vaccine protocols:

“It’s time for us to do what we have been doing, and that time is every day.”

On a recent trip to Poland, Harris said, “I am here, standing here on the northern flank, on the eastern flank, talking about what we have in terms of the eastern flank and our NATO allies, and what is at stake at this very moment, what is at stake this very moment are some of the guiding principles…”

As one astute Twitter/X follower said, “Kamala Harris is everything the left said Sarah Palin would be.”

Kamala Harris must been taken with Caitlin Upton, Miss South Carolina in the 2007 Miss Teen USA contest, who when asked, “Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can’t locate the U. S. on a world map.  Why do you think this is?” Miss South Carolina said, “I personally believe that U. S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps and, uh, I believe that our education, like such as in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should—our education over here in the U. S. should help the U. S., uh, or, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq, and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future, for our children.

Rivaling Miss South Carolina teen, on Roe v. Wade, VP Harris said, “I think that, to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled. Certain issues are just settled.”

“So, I think it’s very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders, for us at every moment in time — and certainly this one — to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future,” she told a crowd at Howard University, her alma mater.

On why the Biden administration is still buying oil from Russia (in 2022): “Understanding that right now on the issue of energy, our allies have stood firm and unified in a way that many of the pundits didn’t predict would happen, to ensure that we are unified in our approach to this issue.”

We’ve been through nearly four years of media and Democrats pretending Joe Biden is fine, that he’s “as sharp as ever;” that his face looks normal, that his whispering and yelling are normal, and that everyone falls walking upstairs. That’s all just what we see. Americans rightly are concerned about negotiations behind the scenes – foreign policy talks, the economy, inflation and interest rates, the open border – who is directing policy on these issues, because it’s not the guy who sits in imaginary chairs and claims he got 81 million votes.

Enter Kamala – while we can laugh at her tossed word salads and meaningless gibberish, she’s not even qualified to run an animal shelter, much less the country. Worse and perhaps most important, Kamala Harris is a Marxist – she espouses “equality of outcomes,” and not “equality of rights.” She was ranked the most left-wing senator in 2019, even more left-wing than Bernie Sanders, according to GovTrack.

“So mark her down as endorsing the spending blowouts that caused inflation, the Green New Deal, entitlement expansions and student loan forgiveness,” the Wall Street Journal reports. “Until she says otherwise, we should also assume she’s in favor of Mr. Biden’s $5 trillion tax increase in 2025.”

“Single-payer healthcare. Ms. Harris co-sponsored his Medicare for All legislation paid for by higher income taxes.”

She supports a nationwide ban on oil and gas fracking.

None of what she supports is good for America or the American people.

So, who controls her? And why would any voter – Democrat or Republican – want someone from the now-dystopian wasteland of Oakland/San Francisco to turn the country into a California hell-hole?

Democrats and the media are attempting to manipulate another election, and again using an ambitious, simpleminded, very flawed candidate to do it.

This is why every vote matters.

  1. Love this Kamala the Kackler send-up! She always reminds me of Holden Caulfield (The Catcher in the Rye) and his hilarious nonsense essay about mummies. Sure, most of us have been there but grew out of it, unlike Kamala.
While we’re laughing at this ridiculous woman and hitting the Kamala Cackle button like an addict (before sobering up to VOTE, come hell or high water, OMG), don’t miss the X account of Estee Palti, The Queen of Kamala Impersonators, for comic relief. Good stuff!

    1. So true, CW.
Just watched the Mark Levin video which I didn’t have a chance to do earlier in the day.
It’s a MUST-SEE. He gives us the argument that we must make and spread in the coming months. The video is scary Kamala clips (“a combination of arrogance and stupidity on full display,” says Levin) interwoven with Levin’s annotation. It all adds up to NO WAY can she be President.
      As you know………

  2. Saw her during a live Q&A session. I believe it best to not underestimate Harris and thus error on the side of caution.

A Trump vid suggests Donald may be harboring concerns about having to go toe to toe with Harris.

Harris verbally nimble: I was surprised.

  3. Katy Grimes rightly asks who controls Kamala? Dr. Naomi Wolf on her latest Substack blog pointed out that Kamala’s handlers haven’t even bothered with the required Federal Election Commission filings to be a candidate nor has “Joe Biden” submitted his official withdrawal paperwork. She also noted that the most recent version of Joe Biden seems to have “lost 20 years, gained some height, put on some weight, thickened his hair, added muscle mass, become elegantly balanced on his feet like a dancer or athlete, developed a radiant downturned (rather than crooked) smile, and lost all his facial wrinkles, before and then after his very severe recent illness.”

Meanwhile, Kamala posted on X praising the repulsively perverted and satanic Olympic opening ceremony swooning “What an impressive show by all of these beautiful and diverse people at the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics. Director Thomas Jolly did an incredible job and made France look great! America, this is what we need to strive towards!”

God help us if this dingbat and her evil handlers ever get installed into the White House?

    1. Wow. Kamala publicly praising the Olympic opening ceremony should be enough.
Apparently Kamala and Joe consider themselves too important to do “paperwork.”
So great of Naomi Wolf to regale us with the kind of Joe-Kamala details that actually put the whole mess in a nutshell.
      Thanks for posting, TJ.

      1. Italian Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the former papal nuncio to the United States who was excommunicated three weeks ago for “his refusal to recognize and submit to the Supreme Pontiff,” called the Olympic opening ceremony “the latest in a long series of vile attacks on God, the Catholic Religion and natural Morality by the antichristic elite holds that hostage Western countries.” Viganò said that it’s “no coincidence” that the ceremonies were presided over by French President Emanuel Macron, an ’emissary of the World Economic Forum,’ who ‘passes off a transvestite as his own wife with impunity, just as Barack Obama is accompanied by a muscular man in a wig.’

Viganò went on to say that “Satan makes nothing: only he ruins everything. He does not invent: he tampers. And his followers are no different: they humiliate woman’s femininity in order to erase the motherhood that recalls the Virgin Mother; they castrate man’s manhood in order to tear from the image of God’s fatherhood; they corrupt the little ones in order to kill in them and make them victims of the most abject wokeism.”

It’s a shame that Viganò isn’t the Pope?

        1. I’ve noticed over the years many people in the Catholic church such as Archbishop Vigano who fearlessly speak the truth without hesitation —- which is what I thought followers of Christ are supposed to be doing —- are often targeted and punished for it. I was horrified to realize he had been excommunicated. EXCOMMUNICATED, think of it. Archbishop Vigano is still saying what is true in spite of such an injustice as are many other Catholics in positions of authority who have also been targets because of truth-telling. We can only hope that soon this injustice will be reconsidered and reversed. As a Christian but not a Catholic I do think (from afar) it would be good for the Catholic church and its followers if a fine and exemplary person such as Archbishop Vigano were the Pope.

  4. Notice “in detail” the shapes of the bottom of the ears of the various Bidens.

Harris like Obama possesses the perfect transitional characteristics of the ideal but hopefully not successful destroyer of our culture.

Every aspect of our culture especially Christianity  is being inverted.

Once Harris maneuvered into the presidency an assault on our currency will commence.

Notice too Janet Yellen’s frightening comments issued while in S America last week.

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”

  5. She reminds me of a mashup between Jeff Spicoli and Cheech & Chong in their weed-fueled heyday….
