California Dem. Congresswoman Vows to ‘Continue to Speak Lies’ to Trump’s Truth
…from the ‘you can’t make this @$#! up’ file

One of California’s finest politicians really let the cat out of the bag Tuesday. Former Democrat Assemblywoman, State Senator and now Congresswoman, Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove admitted in front of God and the Internet that she “walked out of Trump’s Joint Address on behalf of the people of California’s 37th district.”
“There’s only so much bullshit a person can tolerate.”
Such bravery.
However, she neglected the always-important self-reflection, because only two hours earlier she admitted on camera:
“We are going to continue to fight back, and we are going to continue to speak lies to his truth, to his stealing and to his cheating.”
The women’s heads nodding behind her are rich. They don’t even flinch with Kamlager-Dove’s slip-of-the-tongue, focused on the anticipated anti-Trump hyperbole.
The Globe remembers other tongue-twisters originating from the mouth of Kamlager-Dove.
In 2019, then-Assemblywoman Kamlager-Dove (D-Los Angeles) authored a resolution to “encourage” financial institutions to stop lending to gun manufacturers and gun retailers.
“You cannot have a gun if the gun has not been made… you cannot sell a gun that has not been made,” Assemblywoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove wittily said.
When pressed in a hearing by then-Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez (R) to explain the goal of the resolution, Kamlager-Dove said, “the goal is to encourage financial institutions to reconsider those whom they lend debt to – specifically targeting gun manufacturers.”
“We tend to have conversations from the demand side – the folks who have a gun… the folks who want a gun… legally purchased or not… where they are buying the gun… who the dealer is… how much ammunition they are allowed to purchase…” Kamlager-Dove said.
“What business is that of any financial institution?” Melendez asked.
Kamlager-Dove prattled on having mastered Pretzel-Logic 101: “The reality is there are 400 million guns in this country. So everyone still has an opportunity to at least have one. The other reality is, we live in a free-market society. So, I think it is presumptuous to say, ‘if you cannot go to one lending institution, then your opportunity to manufacturer a gun is shot.’ That’s kind of the incentive to living in a free market, capitalistic society.”
Kamlager-Dove then compared her resolution to how many companies divested from South Africa during apartheid: “Companies still found ways to earn money and be socially responsible.”
Enjoy their brief exchange, which Melendez posted to her Facebook page, once again demonstrating Kamlager-Dove was just another member of the California Legislature unencumbered by the thought process.
This is the brain trust from California representing Democrats in Congress… at least we know she and her cohorts “are going to continue to speak lies to Trump’s truth…”
Currently the U.S. representative for California’s 37th congressional district, Democrat Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove was previously the Assemblywoman for California’s 54th State Assembly district who focused entirely far left equity and social justice issues while she was in the California State Assembly having sponsored two bills, AB 241 and AB 242, that mandated the incorporation of implicit bias training into continued education for healthcare professionals, lawyers, and judges. The bills were passed by Democrats in the legislature and signed into law by Democrat Gov. Newsom.
Maybe pampered and privileged Democrat politicians like Sydney Kamlager-Dove should be required to take implicit bias training? It’s the equitable thing to do?
Who is Sydney Kamlager-Dove? She has lived an entire life of upper class privilege and wealth being the pampered daughter of actress Cheryl Lynn Bruce and she’s the stepdaughter of well known artist Kerry James Marshall. She graduated from the University of Southern California where she belonged to the Zeta Phi Beta sorority and received a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She also received her Master’s in arts management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University.
The 37th Congressional District in LA that Sydney Kamlager-Dove represents is overwhelmingly Hispanic at 54% and it’s curious how a privileged African-American like her was elected in that district where she’s a minority and whether her radical leftist views reflect those of her constituents?

Democrat Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove also sponsored AB 987 that was legislation to build a new arena for the Los Angeles Clippers. Clippers owner Steve Ballmer saw the construction of a dedicated arena for the team as being a high priority. The bill was signed into law by former Democrat Gov. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown. No doubt Kamlager-Dove was richly rewarded for sponsoring that legislation?
Is the top photo Sydney Kamlager-Dove? It doesn’t look like her?
Sometimes she straightens her hair, as she has on her Congressional website: https://kamlager-dove.house.gov
I seem to recall that when ballot collectors go out in Los Angeles County and pickup ballots, they are not required to count how many ballots they pick up at each stop. By not counting ballots at each stop as part of a chain of custody process it would be easy to insert “harvested ballots” into the stream of collected ballots. I also seem to recall that in 2021 that Los Angeles County has almost 1.1 million more registered voters than there were eligible voters. I wonder where those ballots end up at? The game is easy to follow in Los Angeles County.
and don’t forget about the Judicial Watch successful lawsuit against CA Sec of State over voter registration records……
Unfortunately, a perfectly useful metaphor for political fraud is not understood and thus unacceptable here.
Have it your way.
the person in the top photo does strike me as being particularly intelligent, metaphorically speaking, of course…..
I should have simply referenced Charles Dawson, metaphorically speaking.
She should be the poster child for paper ballots and voted i.d mandates.
If this story does not convince us all that we need election integrity reform, then my fellow Californians expect more truth tellers such as Kamlager-Dove to represent you.
Honestly, we are to believe she graduated from USC and Carnegie Melon?
Pretzel Logic 101? Who knew? I love it, I guess it is now a requirement for a Political Science major in today’s world.
(D-Los Angeles)
Why am I not surprised she’s a Leftist loon?
