Deals with general provisions of endangered species under the Fish and Game Code

Division 3, Chapter 1.5, Article 1 deals with general provisions of endangered species under the Fish and Game Code. Section 2050 names this chapter as the California Endangered Species Act.

Sections 2051, 2052, 2052.1, 2053, 2054, 2055, and 2056 contain legislative findings and declarations.

Section 2060 provides that the definitions in this article govern the construction of this chapter.

Section 2061 defines the terms “conserve,” “conserving,” and “conservation.”

Section 2062 defines the term “endangered species.”

Section 2063 defines the term “feasible.”

Section 2064 defines the term “project.”

Section 2064.5 defines the terms “recover” and “recovery.”

Section 2065 defines the term “state lead agency.”

Section 2067 defines the term “threatened species.”

Section 2068 defines the term “candidate species.”
