I See 24,600 Dead People Voting in Los Angeles
In 2025, PILF reported 14,834 potentially deceased active registrants in Los Angeles County

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) reported identifying 9,766 potentially deceased active registered voters in Los Angeles County, along with other irregularities. This is on top of the 14,834 potentially deceased active registrants in Los Angeles County reported in 2025.
PILF, an election-integrity nonprofit, filed a formal complaint under the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), raising concerns about local voter list maintenance practices ahead of the November 3 midterm elections.
“Despite HAVA’s requirements, Los Angeles County has failed to eliminate duplicate voter registration records,” the complaint says.
PILF’s analysis also uncovered additional irregularities in Los Angeles County’s voter registration records, including:
- 1,340 active registrants with fictional dates of birth.
- 704 active registrants whose recorded dates of birth would make them at least 110 years old, raising questions about the accuracy of the records.
- 54 U.S. Postal Service locations listed as residential addresses by registered voters rather than as mailing addresses.
- 1,279 apparent duplicate registrations at the same residential addresses.
The group is arguing that these raise concerns about list-maintenance practices ahead of the November 3, 2026 midterm elections.
The Foundation’s findings build on its previous research into California’s voter rolls. In 2025, PILF identified 14,834 potentially deceased active registrants in Los Angeles County through an analysis of registrations with no recorded activity over the past decade. Statewide, the Foundation found more than 94,500 registrants matched to the Social Security Death Index.
That’s a lot of dead voters.
“California has a responsibility to maintain accurate voter rolls,” said J. Christian Adams, President of the Public Interest Legal Foundation. “Election officials should investigate these discrepancies and ensure that voter registration records are accurate.”
In 2025, the group reported 14,834 potentially deceased active registrants in Los Angeles County from an analysis of long-dormant registrations, and more than 94,500 statewide matches to the Social Security Death Index, as well as other issues like interstate duplicates and placeholder birthdates, in a sample of roughly 2 million active California registrants.
“Deceased registrants have not been eliminated in Los Angeles County despite prior notice,” PILF reported.
Families in Los Angeles have described continuing to receive ballots or election mail for relatives who died years earlier (including after submitting death certificates), and at least one case involved a ballot for someone who died in 1994.
“PILF isolated 704 ACTIVE Los Angeles County registrants who, if their dates of birth are accurate, are at least 110 years of age,” the complaint says.
PILF is calling on California election officials to investigate these findings and address any confirmed inaccuracies in the state’s voter registration records. “Absent relief, Los Angeles County’s November 3, 2026 General Election will be conducted using an inaccurate voter registration list.”

Please please keep this news on the front page next month, and the month after that, and the month after that!
YES, the dead people voting, their pets voting, their dead pets voting, & etc. (every other form of election cheating; there are so MANY) went from maddening to infuriating to head popping decades ago. There appears to be some momentum now (knock wood) so let’s keep the subject going and high profile at our beloved California Globe — if nowhere else wants to cover this fundamental problem —- as long as we possibly can. Sigh!
And vote if you haven’t voted yet. Please please, make it happen! Steven Hilton for Governor (!), Gloria Romero for Lt Governor, Michael Gates for Atty General (!), Don Wagner for Secretary of State, Herb Morgan for Controller (!), and Sonja Shaw for Supt of Public Instruction. If you live in L.A., John McKinney for L.A. City Attorney. If McKinney wins he will transform the office which will, in turn, transform the quality of life for the good in L.A.
Is anyone surprised that thousands of dead people are still voting in LA County?
Who’s to blame for the pervasive Democrat voter fraud in LA County? A lot of the blame goes to LA County’s controversial Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, Dean Logan, who has no doubt been manipulating and rigging elections for his Democrat cronies for years?
His most recent controversy involves a federal lawsuit and criminal investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding alleged noncitizen voting. In October 2026, the DOJ sued Logan and California Secretary of State Shirley Weber over a list of approximately 20,000 suspected noncitizen voters. Although a federal judge denied the Trump administration’s request to block those ballots, the DOJ issued criminal grand jury subpoenas to at least three employees in Logan’s office, ordering them to testify the day after the November 2026 general election. Dean Logan laughably condemned the approach as “confrontational, adversarial” and stated that “threats and intimidation have no place in elections.”
Earlier in his tenure, Logan’s office was involved in several high-profile administrative failures:
2018 Printing Error: A ballot design flaw erased 118,000 voters from the rolls.
2010 Recount: A controversial recount of Kamala Harris’s Attorney General race relied on disputed provisional ballots.
2022 Gascón Recall: Logan’s office was sued by recall supporters for allegedly improperly invalidating 200,000 signatures, a case that was eventually dismissed without trial.
Voting System Audit: An independent audit found that the ballot boxes in the county’s $282 million voting system could be opened without detection.
Before moving to California and being selected as County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk by the Democrats on the LA Board of Supervisors , Logan served as the Registrar of Voters in King County, Washington, where he was central to the 2004 gubernatorial election controversy. His office discovered previously uncounted ballots that shifted the race from the Republican candidate Dino Rossi to Democrat candidate Christine Gregoire, leading to accusations of mismanagement and calls for his resignation.
Logan is part of the criminal Democrat thug mafia and needs to be held accountable?
It’s not a fault in not removing the dead, it’s a design feature of their system of control.
You know the good news about exposing and fixing this is that together with the voter lists being fixed, maybe Democrats aren’t as numerous as we think. Maybe this is a purple state without the illegals, homeless, the duplicate registrations, and the dead.
Agree with you, Rod. And you’ve said something that I suspect a lot of people think but hardly ANYONE says. Maybe this state is more purple —- or even beyond —- than we have been repeatedly banged on the head to think it is.
Why am I not surprised? This is what I would expect from a county run by Democrat fascists. The elections are fake.
No kidding, Protect Freedom. Let’s have some REAL elections now. Could it happen? It could.
bla, bla, bla…. after tonight you folks will need a few diaper changes
Ok good, now send all those responsible to PRISON. NOW! When is enough, enough?
