Exclusive: Portland Man Charged with Threats to Trump and ICE Supporters Also Linked to Death Threat Against Clark County Commissioner April Becker

The California Globe has confirmed that Travis William Juhr, the 41-year-old Portland man arrested by the FBI on February 11, 2026, for online death threats against President Donald Trump and ICE supporters, is the same individual behind a credible threat made against Clark County Commissioner April Becker (R-Nevada) last December.

Federal authorities arrested Juhr at his Portland home on a felony charge of transmitting threats in interstate communications. Court documents detail months of menacing posts from anonymous X and Facebook accounts, including:

• “I can’t wait till Trump is dead, I might even participate!”
• A photo of a Sig Sauer rifle posted February 2 with the caption: “Break glass in case of ICEy conditions at your residence,” targeting a woman and her 13-year-old son who joined a pro-ICE “Patriot Night” event in Portland.
• Other messages promising “divine punishment” and “excited for the obituaries.”

The Globe has verified that Juhr also operated the now-suspended X account “Captain GayAmerica,” which posted in December 2025: “I am coming down to Nevada for you April Becker… Because I love a challenge when hunting my PREY.” The post included the #PDX hashtag, tying it to Portland.

In December, the Globe reported:

PDX in the hashtag refers to Portland, Oregon, a city that has made national headlines for Antifa-related violence against MAGA supporters and federal authorities. Internet sleuths on social media note that the account has been suspended, but claim that the user is associated with domestic terror suspect John Paul Cupp of Portland. The Globe cannot confirm the connection.

According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Cupp is facing federal, criminal charges. “Cupp threatened to kill law enforcement officers and sexually assault their wives. Cupp regularly produced violent online rhetoric and content calling for war against the United States, making antisemitic threats, and threats of violence,” the DHS revealed in a press release.

The threats from violent Left-wing agitators against federal law enforcement has increased 8,000 percent, while Americans witnessed an assassination attempt on President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, last July and the assassination of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, during a rally at Utah State University last September.

Last week, @LanceVideos “once again” asked DHS and the FBI to arrest Travis William Juhr, stating, “He is going to try and kill my family.”

Juhr, an IT systems architect for the state of Oregon and a developer of school curriculum for Mt. Hood Community College, with no prior felony record, appeared in federal court Tuesday. Prosecutors cited the involvement of a minor victim in opposing release; his public defender argued for bail based on community ties and lack of criminal history.

The FBI continues investigating Juhr’s full digital activity. Commissioner Becker’s office declined further comment pending the investigation.
