‘Harbors and Navigation’ contains 2 Divisions

The California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 7 is one of 27 Titles that contain state regulations. Title 7, called “Harbors and Navigation,” contains 2 Divisions. There are also numerous chapters and articles containing regulatory sections, or individual regulations. The following is a broad overview of CCR Title 7.

Division 1 San Francisco Port Authority Harbor Traffic Code [Repealed]

Division 2 State Board of Pilot Commissioners for the Bays of San Francisco, San Pablo and Suisun

Article 1 Definitions – 2 Sections

Article 2 Meetings, Quorums, Actions – 3 Sections

Article 3 Officers, Committees, Employees – 9 Sections and 2 Appendices

Article 4 Training Programs – 3 Sections

Article 5 Licensing – 12 Sections

Article 6 Government of Pilots, Inland Pilots and Trainees – 5 Sections

Article 7 Pilotage Rates – 2 Sections

Article 8 Number of Pilots – 1 Section

Title 7 contains 37 Sections.
