Mike Hazlip has been a staff photographer for the Hornet Newspaper at CSUS, and his photography has been published in Heaven’s Metal magazine and The Placerville Reporter while in college. After graduation, he worked as a graphic designer before serving as the official photographer for the former Jimmy Doolittle Center, a non-profit organization that was dedicated to historic aviation and STEM education. He is a past board member of Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley and a former member of Professional Photographers of America. He worked as a reporter and photojournalist for the Citrus Heights Sentinel and is now a freelance journalist. Mike was a media advisory panel for San Juan Unified School District and teaches classes in photography, graphic design, and media literacy for the community.
