Exposed Dr. Fauci Diary – Tells Newsom Admin to Close CA Schools, Bars and Restaurants
Diary reveals Fauci’s obsession with fame

Over the weekend, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released diary entries by Dr. Anthony Fauci, chronicling Fauci’s day-to-day role during the COVID-19 pandemic through meetings, phone calls and personal observations.
The diary entries also reveal Fauci as a self-absorbed, star-struck narcissist who, during the COVID-19 pandemic, was obsessed with the national politicians, television personalities, and celebrities filling his orbit, Fox News reported.
Reading through the diary, it is evident he lied about everything to exaggerate the impact of Covid and to make himself famous. This is the picture of a total narcissistic sociopath.
The Fauci diary reveals his obsession with fame, but his recommendations of school and business closures provided fellow narcissists with the tyrannical tools they needed to lock down cities and states – Governor Gavin Newsom, Governor Andrew Cuomo, Mayor Bill deBlasio, Governor Gretchen Whitmere, Governor Jay Inslee, Governor JB Pritzker.
1/9 — My investigation uncovered that Anthony Fauci kept a diary.
What he wrote privately and what he told the country are two different stories.Today I'm releasing his entries from December 2019 through December 2022. 🧵 pic.twitter.com/58LvmeYkCN

“Released by Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rand Paul, R-Ky., the diaries come days before Fauci is scheduled to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee after being subpoenaed by Paul,” Fox reported.
“The entries feature everyone from President Donald Trump to Julia Roberts, Steph Curry, Larry Ellison and Hunter Biden, offering an unusually personal look at the people who crossed Fauci’s path during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The California Globe has been a consistent critic of California’s COVID-19 policies under Gov. Gavin Newsom, and in particular, the lockdowns, school closures, business shutdowns, masking, vaxing and related mandates. None of these mandates solved one thing.
Fauci’s diary reads more like a star-struck teenage girl’s daily chronicle of her very emotional life:
I appeared this evening on a PBS NewsHour segment on Ebola with considerable exposure in the piece.
Jan. 17, 2020 – appeared on radio with NPR “Here and Now” on the pediatric Influenza B situation.
Jennifer Ashton of ABC World News Tonight called me in a panic about 15 minutes before she is to go on the air about the Wuhan virus (2019nCoV). She wanted to get my take on the airport screening and the potential seriousness of the situation. I emphasized that we need to take this seriously and the airport screening is entirely appropriate.
Also did interview for CBS Evening News and for FOX 5 Local TV
Also, conversation with Elizabeth Cohen of CNN. Problem with her is that she tends to dramatize things, which can get me in trouble not matter how many caveats I give her.
Other press today – VOA News; WSJ with Betsy MacKay; WCBS Radio; TV NewsMAX; TV FOX Business with Lou Dodd; Biocentury with Steve Usdin; Bloomberg Law with Jeannie Baumann; Washington Times; Time Magazine (Alice Park)
Fauci clearly decided to chronicle his own rising star, anticipating that someone would write about him someday:
Multiple print media including Washington Post, Maggie Fox, Los Angeles; NPR Morning Edition with Rachel Martin; WTOP radio; John LaPook with CBS – taped interview to run with face to face interview tomorrow with Norah O’Donnell; VOA; CNN International; Bret Baier FOX; WTOP again; Sean Hannity (FOX)
And this gem:
Amazing day today!
Bob Kadlec, Bob Redfield, Karin King (State), Ken Cuccinelli (DHS), Jonathan Fritz (State) briefed the House members led by Nancy Pelosi who was her usual self with me (big hug, kiss and telling everyone how great I am – little embarrassing. Diane DeGette did the same thing.
Fauci’s diary also chronicles the increasing deaths from Covid across the world and the ramping up of restrictions.
By February 27, 2020, Fauci addresses California’s first “community case” of Covid:
Got phone call fom Tom Bossert (former Deputy National Security Advisor to Bush and National Security Advisor to Trump until John Bolton forced him out). Tom saw the press briefing on TV last night and was appalled by the denialism of the problem by Trump. He wanted to know if I was trying to bring in some reality testing. I told him that this was difficult. I emphasized that we should be testing thousands of people and not just a few hundred. With the 1st community case in CA, it is clear that there are other infected people out there in the USA. Also, there is a 2nd community case in California.
Turned into an amazing day. Chris Cuomo calls me up and says that he wants me on his show since he is going to rip apart the CDC for not having enough tests available to screen for community spread cases (i.e. no known geographic connection).
March 3, 2020, Fauci reported:
Importantly, I have been pushing for blanket testing throughout the country on symptomatic and asymptomatic people to get some data. CDC and FDA are promising this now, but I doubt if they can deliver. I am beginning to quedtion the competency of CDC and the innocent inexperience of Steve Hahn and FDA.
PRESS: Good Morning America with George Stephanopoulos; multiple press conferences, including one on White House Lawn after getting off Marine One with the POTUS
Mar. 8, 2020:
2 cases in DC and at least 3 in Montgomery County. I am going to start social distancing myself – am 7 monhs shy of 80 years old. Today is the Sunday show day. I emphasized on FOX (Chris Wallace) and Meet the Press that people with underlying conditions, particularly the elderly with such conditions should do social distancing, avoid all by absolutely essential travel, do not take long plane trips and absolutely avoid cruise ships.
Mar. 10, 2020:
For better or worse, I am becoming an international celebrity. Calls from all over the world.
Chatted with Govenor DeSantis (R-FL) who was concerned that I said at Press conference today that Florida had community spread, when in fact Florida just had a big cluster. He was correct, was nice on the phone call arranged by WH after he complained. We came out with a statement correcting.
Mar. 15, 2020 (Sunday) – BIG DAY!
I did all 5 Sunday Shows today (my 3rd Fauci 5”) with This Week on ABC, Meet the Press on NBC, Face the Nation on CBS, FOX with Chris Wallace and CNN. All went very well
I spoke with Bill de Blasio (Mayor – NYC) and convinced him based on what I was saying publicly and my conversation tonight to close the NYC schools (he had already decided based on what I was saying on TV). I went on to tell him he should close the bars and restaurants in NYC. He said that he would base this on my recommendation.
I had a similar call with Ann O’Leary, the COS of Gov. Gavin Newsom of California. Ann said that based on my TV appearances today and yesterday, the Governor has decided to close the schools in California as well as the bars and restaurants.
When I left the WH and crossed Pennsylvania and 17th Street, several cars honked their horns and shouted “thank you” out the window.
Fauci, Mar. 18, 2020:
WH wanted me to not wear myself out. Have had private car and driver since Mar. 13 (Friday). I will stay at NIH today and do some press tonight from truck at home. Very positive press with Laura Ingraham on FOX last night. My diagnosis of PMR really bothering me. Will start on prednisone today.
Gov. Newsom issued California’s first-in-the-nation statewide stay-at-home order in March 2020, after his chief of Staff Ann O’Leary spoke with Anthony Fauci, amid low early case counts but models projecting high infection rates. Restrictions on “non-essential” businesses, indoor dining, gyms, places of worship, personal care services, and more were reimposed or extended multiple times. We repeatedly argued these lockdowns lasted far too long – three years until the state of emergency ended in early 2023 – and relied excessively on positive tests rather than severe illness and actual deaths, ignored counter-evidence from experts like Stanford’s Jay Bhattacharya, one of the Great Barrington Declaration co-authors, and treated healthy people as threats.
By July 13, 2020, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced closure of indoor businesses in most of the State, citing a “surge” in COVID-19 “cases.” The state had ramped up testing, but deaths were already going down.
Specifically, Newsom’s order closing down INDOOR businesses were:
“Dine-in restaurants, Movie theaters, Family Entertainment Centers (e.g. bowling alleys, miniature golf, batting cages and arcades), Zoos and museums (indoors), Cardrooms, Winery and tasting rooms (indoors), Bars, brewpubs, breweries, and pubs (both indoors and outdoors), Gyms and fitness centers, Places of worship, Indoor protests, Offices for non-critical infrastructure sectors, Personal care services, Hair salons and barbershops, Indoor mall.”
On June 18, 2020, the California Department of Public Health issued a mandate requiring people to wear face coverings whenever indoors, causing businesses to uphold the mandate or risk losing their business licenses.
Many in the state felt this mandatory mask requirement was horrific government overreach.
However, as San Francisco Weekly reported at the time, “Gay bathhouses could have an easier time returning to San Francisco, after the board of supervisors approved an ordinance that would ease restrictions for adult sex venues on July 21 with a unanimous vote.”
As we reported in November 2020: Gov. Newsom’s Thanksgiving 2020: Stay Home, No Singing, No Shouting, No Music, No Parties.
We reported:
California’s reported COVID numbers don’t tell the whole story, and in fact leave out critical details.
Currently, the state says:
-
- it has issued 22,910,351 total COVID tests
- there are 1,144,049 total “cases” of COVID
- there have been 18,875 total deaths attributed to COVID
What they don’t tell you is that of the 22,910,351 total COVID tests, 21,766,302 Californians tested negative.
“In discussing the deadliness of COVID, we need to distinguish COVID cases from COVID infections,” Dr. Bhattacharya said. “A lot of fear and confusion has resulted from failing to understand the difference.”
According to Bhattacharya, the bottom line is that the COVID fatality rate is in the neighborhood of 0.2 percent.
We reported on the prolonged school closures, as California ranked poorly for in-person learning, resulting learning loss, business failures including over 1/3 of California’s restaurants, and church closures, while noting exemptions or lighter treatment for certain sectors – cannabis dispensaries and big-box stores. And who could forget Gavin Newsom’s own hypocrisy, and his French Laundry dinner with other lobbyists and friends that violated his own rules? His vacations and travel?
Newsom’s nursing home policies were deadly after sending COVID patients into long-term elder care facilities. Newsom’s vaccine and mask orders for work and school attendance were mandatory for the masses, but he provided exemptions for elites. The economic and social costs were incalculable.
Newsom was a soulless disaster of a governor, never showing one sign of human emotion about the devastation he created.
The California Legislature was equal disaster in that they never once attempted to wrest control of the tyrannical rogue governor.
Happy 2024 Thanksgiving!
Remember, Gov. Gavin Newsom and CA Democrat Supermajority closed your children’s schools, shut down your businesses, ordered your churches closed, cancelled your holidays, masked your kids, mandated Covid shots to go back to work and school… while they… pic.twitter.com/jNYXNcPQg6

Newsom’s actual Thanksgiving guidelines during his Covid lockdowns:

Read the Fauci Diaries for yourself. It proves what a horrific liar he was, saying one thing in public, and another in private. He should spend the rest of his life in prison.
