Grenell, Essayli and DeMaio Call on Secretary of State Weber to Speed Up Election Results
We are California – we should be leading the Nation in speed, accuracy, and transparency… not finishing last with a broken electoral process

The California 2024 Primary Election was 7 days ago – last Tuesday March 5, 2024. Most states have already posted election results.
There are a lot of Californians who remember election results were provided not long after the polls closed on Election Day.
Anything less makes voters question the veracity of election results.
“It has been 6 days since Californians voted in the primary elections of 2024. It is an outrage that the Secretary of State of California has yet to finish the vote counting,” said Ambassador Richard Grenell, Assemblyman Bill Essayli, and Assembly Candidate Carl DeMaio in a Joint Statement provided to the Globe.
Grenell, Essayli and DeMaio continue:
“What could possibly be taking so long?
The 58 counties across the state should be instructed to count all the votes in a timely manner. We are California, and so we should be leading the Nation in speed, accuracy, and transparency – not finishing last with a broken electoral process.
Californians will not have faith in the system when bureaucrats secretly count votes for days and days on end. It is imperative that elected officials address these delays in counting votes, as well as the ongoing unchecked voter rolls, which are undermining public confidence.
We call upon California Secretary of State Shirley Weber to do her job and take immediate action to get county registrars of voters to report their results faster. We reiterate the urgent need to demand voter roll cleanup, same-day, in-person voting, voter identification, and a transparent counting strategy.”
California Governor Gavin Newsom did this. In May 2020 during his COVID statewide lockdown, Newsom issued Executive Order N-64-20 2020 ordering every voter in the November 2020 General Election to Vote-By-Mail. And then he made it permanent in 2021, claiming moral authority: “states across our country continue to enact undemocratic voter suppression laws,” Gov. Newsom said.
Newsom signed Assembly Bill 37 by Assemblyman Marc Berman (D-Menlo Park), permanently requiring a vote-by-mail ballot be mailed to every active registered voter in the state. AB 37 also gave the state 30 days to prepare a certified statement of the results of the election and submit it to the governing body within 30 days of the election.
No Kidding.
I can video with my wife in China for hours, for free, using our smartphones. Sacramento is a bedroom community for Bay area tech bros and yet The People are increasingly distanced from their ‘public servants’ with tricks like this. The California Republic may have already been lost.
If this demand by Grenell, Essayli, and Demaio for our state and county office holders to get their sloppy act together MERELY on the subject of timely vote-counting does nothing but keep the topic of our lack of election integrity alive, I’m 100% in support of it, and hope for more such demands.
If Californians knew nothing else than that our Dem/Marxist state and county office holders have REFUSED, for years and years and years, to clean up voter rolls as well as return to voter ID, one-day voting, one-person-one-vote, hand-filled paper ballots, ballot chain of custody proofs, and rapid vote-counting returns, as is their duty and only job, we would have plenty of on-its-face evidence just from that to know that cheating is going on. But these people, apparently chosen for their poker-faced dishonesty, have not only refused to restore the order and simplicity to the voting process we once had, they have worked underground like termites to methodically destroy election integrity by continuing to add MORE cheating opportunities to the process.
One high profile example (of MANY) is the unnecessary installation of vote-by-mail, first by Gavin Newsom executive order under “emergency powers” in 2020, which was then cemented into law by the legislature in 2021, both using the excuse of Fake Covid Hysteria. Any Californian paying the slightest bit of attention would know on sight and within two minutes that vote-by-mail is ripe for cheating by bad actors. We have plenty of those! If one were to look at the timeline, this was already the plan long BEFORE fake Covid hysteria shutdown. My husband and I personally had our registration changed, without permission or request, to permanent Absentee Ballot status in May of 2018, only to find out later that this was a common complaint. In addition, at the beginning of March, 2020, then SOS Alex Padilla cited “deep concerns” about L.A. County’s election problems following the accidentally-on-purpose installation of sketchy and unworkable Venezuelan-style voting machines (which cost the county $300,000,000) and disenfranchised who-knows-how-many-thousands of county voters. CA’s Dem SOS and the various sketchy Dem County Registrars could easily dispel citizens’ suspicions and accusations of election cheating by returning us to the simple voting methods we once had. But they are unwilling to do that because clean elections or even “clean-enough” elections would mean not only the loss of Democrat power in California but would expose years, even decades of election cheating.
Unless we have election integrity, we might as well be living in a banana republic. Everyone that has talked about voter fraud in any kind of way and the ones that have proven fraud, haven’t done anything to help California. All talk, talk, talk and nothing changes. I was trying to really get involved with the Dr Frank group once he was traveling in California and then nothing. Several of us did training to figure out what we had to do, but nothing. Unless some big famous person demands it, nothing will happen and even then it becomes look here while we are doing criminal work somewhere else. I wish my family had left when we could afford to leave. I truly distrust the government here and the letter agencies. I saw the David Clements documentary recently too and he showed a small part from the Newsom recall election with the numbers. Grease ball fraud!
The longer they drag out the campaign season, the more expensive it is for any candidate to run. Unless they are already pre-approve and well funded by SEIU an the teachers unions, with benedictions granted by the Democrat party operatives. All according to plan. Democrats were never interested in “election reform”; only gaming the entire system to their own advantage.
Now campaigns must start weeks before the universal mail-in ballots are sent out. Election Day and Election Night parties are bittersweet farces now – undermining all several hundred years of the most important tradition and practice we exercise as citizens in America. This ruinously expensive for local candidates and eliminates any possibility of the earnest, grassroots local candidate from now covering several months of active campaigning. Now it is only those already backed by the Democrat machine and deep union member campaign contributions who can survive that long of a campaign onslaught.
There is no proof the past few decades of Democrat ginned up “election reform” have increased vote turn out or expanded the voter base. Nor was any proof presented voters were “suppressed” by the traditional one Election Day, requiring in-person polling place with ensured secure ballot distribution voting system. Vote-by mail was a carefully limited exception; not the rule.
Sending live ballots to every single registered voter by mail, with total loss of chain of custody of that ballot, is as bad as sending $1000 bill in a clear cellophane envelope to every registered voter. There will be shrinkage. There will be dumping huge amounts of bogus ballots on election offices at the last minute that make careful review of each mailed in ballot virtually impossible – Cloward-Pivens in action. Over-whelm the system to cause it to break down, even if what one is doing is “legal”. Just as Democrats planned.
There can be no confidence when these long counts and ballot adjudications are carried out by the SEIU union members in county election offices, well beyond any election day poll observers volunteer duties.
When those very same SEIU members have a direct and immediate interest in the very same elation out comes – picking who will be sitting on the other side of the SEIU bargaining table that controls their own paychecks, perks and pensions. This is a grotesquely obscene conflict of interests.
The criminal Democrat mafia needs as much time as possible to create the ballots needed to install their preferred candidates. Don’t expect them to ever change the process?
As for Democrat Secretary of State Shirley Weber, who likes to be referred to as Dr. Shirley Weber because she has a doctorate in communications, she was an Assemblywoman before hair-gel Hitler Newsom decreed her to be the first African-American Secretary of State in 2020. As Secretary of State, Weber played a central role in administering the 2021 California gubernatorial recall election that targeted Newsom. Hmmm? She’s also on the Reparations Task Force. No doubt she is looking forward to a big reparations payoff?

In my county alone it was a 14.10 percent. turnout. You would think with an overall low turnout the ballots would have been counted in a timely manner.

Suspend all vote by mail elections. Back to same day elections, in person voting, and absentee ballots for very limited situations. This new process is insane and it is too leaky to be a valid option. Vote for real election reform legislators . Overturn this current ruinous vote by mail election law. Throw out every single Democrat until we get this state back again.
And stay there all night until every ballot is counted until it is done. That is where you hire trained volunteers; NOT more SEIU employees that spend weeks picking who their next will be, adjudicated vote by vote by vote.
100% mail in elections have not proven their worth, they have not increased turnout, and have now added substantial extra costs paying full time government employees for weeks to sort them all out. They are a proven 100% experiment fail.
Stop wasting money on them. What so we say when Democrat whine that we want to “suppress the vote” by making it harder for people to vote?
Tell them there is only one standard for voting: zero tolerance for cheating and vote by mail does not even come close to meeting this standard. One illegally cast ballot cancels out my entire legal vote. That is suppressing my vote. That is unacceptable.
Stop suppressing my vote allowing illegally cast votes to get into the system. Vote for real election reform candidates. Overturn this current ruinous vote by mail election law. Throw out every single Democrat until we get this state back again. But is it too late now, because the beast we created will not let itself be killed?

This is like a bad movie. We have seen elections all over the nation that either stop counting prior to completing the count or have devised a system where 50% of the vote comes in on election day (Vote by Mail ballots dropped off on Election Day) and has to be manually counted after the election such as here in California. New to the process this election is that if you have a Vote by Mail ballot you can take it to a polling station and check in using the name and address on the envelop and run the voted ballot through the tabulator (Since ID is not required in theory you can do this as many times as you wish with different Vote by Mail Ballots and at multiple precincts) . Here is my theory as to how manipulated tabulated votes are not discovered. The 1 % to be double checked is selected by Vote Cal which is online and not randomly selected by the local registrar or members of the public. I believe that if this was randomly selected that discrepancies would be discovered. If we can’t get rid of Vote by Mail Ballots, they should be required to be sent back 10 days prior to the election so that the County can process them before election day. If the voter misses the 10-day window they can still vote at the poll on election day. Access and integrity need to be built into the system all the current leadership wants is access with minimal safeguards.
