Long-time California Globe contributor Chris Micheli has released his third practical guide on one of California’s 29 Codes. The 29 Codes contain the state’s over 155,000 statutes and are divided based on subject matter. His newest book is “A Practical Guide to the California Evidence Code.” His prior practical guides are on the California Labor Code and the California Elections Code.
“The Evidence Code is critical for all the rules related to the use of evidence in both criminal and civil trials,” Micheli explained. “This practical guide, like the others, are meant to simplify the Code’s statutory provisions for everyone to understand,” he said.
