Nancy Pelosi Declines to Defend 13 American Deaths in Botched Withdrawal
Globe Asks Speaker why January 6 deserves investigation more than botched Afghanistan Pullout

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has continued to push for investigations into the January 6th rally-turned-riot at the U.S. Capitol. Yet she has remained uncharacteristically circumspect on the recent pullout from Afghanistan by the Biden administration.
The Globe attempted to contact Speaker Pelosi last Friday, and after several voicemail messages to her Washington, D.C. office, her district office in San Francisco, and to her press office, we finally spoke with a representative Monday, and asked the following questions:
Q: Is the January 6, 2021 rally-turned-riot at the U.S. Capitol more worthy of congressional investigation than the Biden administration’s pullout of Afghanistan, and the deadly bombing attack outside Kabul airport which killed 13 U.S. Troops and more than 90 Afghans?
Q: Afghanistan was stable until a few days ago: Why is the deadly botched pullout not being investigated?
Her press representative said he would get the questions to the Speaker. However, we have not had a response yet.
The many months since the January 6 Capitol rally have been filled with press statements, news articles and plans for investigations.
“January 6th was one of the darkest days in our nation’s history, with five people killed, 140 members of law enforcement physically harmed and countless more seriously traumatized,” said Speaker Pelosi. “It is clear that January 6th was not simply an attack on a building, but an attack on our very democracy: an attack on the peaceful transfer of power. It is imperative that we find the truth of that day and ensure that such an assault on our Capitol and Democracy cannot ever again happen.”
Speaker Pelosi’s official Twitter feed is peppered with posts about suffragettes and “barriers to full equality,” threats to voting rights in Republican-led states, and prayers “for the lives lost” in Kabul, Afghanistan, but nothing calling for a full Congressional investigation into the botched pullout and subsequent terror bombing attack.
Pelosi’s statement on the terrorist attack at the Kabul airport also does not demand an investigation:
“As we work with the Biden Administration to bring stability to the situation, Congress must continue to be kept closely informed, which is why I have requested that the Executive Branch continue to brief Members,” Pelosi’s official statement says. “At the same time, our Committees of Jurisdiction will continue to hold briefings on Afghanistan.”
Another Tweet “strongly condemns” the attack:
The United States House of Representatives strongly condemns the heinous terrorist attack outside Kabul airport. We mourn the loss of every innocent life taken, and we join every American in heartbreak over the deaths of the servicemembers killed.

In February, Pelosi called for a 9-11 style commission to investigate the January 6 “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol. “Pelosi announced plans to form the commission in February,” CNN reported. “The goal was to create an independent, bipartisan panel tasked with investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack on the Capitol.”
In early March “a top FBI counterterrorism official testified no firearms were recovered during arrests of rioters who breached the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6,” Daily Caller reported.
By April, The Hill reported that Pelosi “yielded to certain GOP demands surrounding the creation of a 9/11-style commission to investigate the Jan. 6 rampage at the Capitol, but she’s sticking to at least one Democratic stipulation: the probe, she said, must focus on that singular event.”
Republicans insisted “that the commission should examine not only the attack of Jan. 6, but also other episodes of political violence over the last year, including those surrounding the Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests that took place following the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.”
In May, Speaker Pelosi issued a statement on “Republican refusal to investigate January 6 insurrection.”
In a July 1, 2021 Press statement, “Speaker Nancy Pelosi today named her appointments to a bipartisan Select Committee to examine and report upon the facts and causes relating to the terrorist mob attack on the United States Capitol Complex on January 6th, 2021.”
August 14, 2021, Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued a statement on the situation in Afghanistan following President Joe Biden’s announcement that the United States would be pulling the military out by the end of the month: “The President is to be commended for the clarity of purpose of his statement on Afghanistan and the actions he has taken.”
“Most of all, we join the President in acknowledging the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform and their families,” Pelosi said in the August 14 statement.
Fox News reported August 27, the day after the terrorist attack on the Kabul airport and US Troops, “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi barely addressed the crisis in Afghanistan this week as the House of Representatives met for a few days to move along some of the Democrats’ domestic legislative agenda, then closed up shop as terror threats grew.”
“The most significant comments from Pelosi on Afghanistan came in a press conference in which she said, ‘Our hopes and prayers and thoughts are with the people there,'” Fox News said.
Thus far, Speaker Pelosi refuses to answer for the pullout of Afghanistan, yet has insisted that the United States cannot move forward as a country until the January 6 rally-riot “insurrection” is thoroughly investigated.
Why is the Afghanistan pullout not being investigated by the Speaker of the House after the terror attack killing 13 U.S. Troops and more than 90 Afghans?
Is the January 6 Capitol riot more worthy of investigation than the pullout in Afghanistan?
The Globe will be posing this question to members of California’s Congressional Delegation from both political parties.
Tuesday, Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the military service members who were killed in Afghanistan last week, according to Rep. Carlos Gimenez (R-Fla):
How badly do Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats want to cover up this Afghanistan debacle?
They just blocked Members of Congress from reading the names of the service members who sacrificed their lives in Afghanistan last week.
Don’t you think our military deserves better?

Our military and their families deserve better!
Heck, we all deserve better. Thirteen young service members acting on orders from their command, end up dead and the Speaker of the House cannot be bothered to read the names of the fallen! Despicable!
Last summer all we heard was #saytheirnames! They held a moment of silence for a guy who died in police custody, he had a long rap sheet which included holding a woman at gunpoint, the gun pointed at her pregnant frame! Nancy, congress and the media incessantly said his name!
This should not be considered a political act. The very least out of respect to their ultimate service, #NANCYSAYTHEIRNAMES
The 13 killed on Thursday were Navy corpsman Max Soviak, Army Staff Sergeant Ryan Knauss, and Marines Hunter Lopez, Rylee McCollum, David Lee Espinoza, Kareem Nikoui, Jared Schmitz, Daegan Page, Taylor Hoover, Humberto Sanchez, Johanny Rosario, Dylan Merola and Nicole Gee.
May God comfort their families! God Bless those young people’s souls, who were just doing what their government asked of them.
Amen.
It’s important to remember on 9/11/2001, Pelosi was the chair of the House Intelligence Committee.
With that in mind, the January 6 thing looks like a good old fashioned FBI psyop – totally staged. The Afghanistan ISIS-K thing looks to me like a CIA boogie – we probably killed our own soldiers. Pelosi has a security clearance and gets briefs about this stuff, which probably explains her weird reactions – she’s “in the know.”
I love it when people see through the smokescreen! I believe the greatest honor we as citizens could bestow for those we lost 9/11, those still dealing with the health fallout, our Military who served; and those affected by psyops prior (Oklahoma, school shootings, etc.) is to seek Truth.
Keep hammering away, for Truth…
In the end, I think it will be revealed they knew the Afghan target (including 13 service members) ahead of time; they turned Americans away at the gate for non-credentialed; allowed at least 100 thru on no-fly list and a rapist; retaliatory drone strike hit a family with children; state dept threatened surrounding countries not to allow private jets that ret. veterans contracted, etc. As for Jan 6, there’s alot of footage of FBI infiltrators and Antifa, including JadenX, and the only people killed were American citizens. There’s videos and photos of CP setting off flashbang on a peaceful crowd. Nancy personally, has a lot to answer for. Pray for truth on both incidents.
Every time I have to see her picture I wonder how in the hell is it possible nobody has put a bullet in her yet? She’s one of the most awful people in or out of politics. If death is a gentleman he’ll take her before 2022 election. I hate her like a hemorrhoid.
@ Waiting2inhale — You have made a death threat against her, no matter if millions of people cannot stand her.
You are an example of what is wrong with today’s political discourse. Wishing harm on those whose politics you disagree. Both democrats and republicans are guilty of this and it needs to stop.
