‘Obamacare’s latest scandal is a $35 billion ghost story’

This week the Globe reported on hackers, crooks and bots who use stolen identities for the purpose of obtaining financial aid in California’s colleges and universities, ripping taxpayers off of billions of dollars. And, it’s been going on heavily since the covid shutdown.
It all started when President Barack Obama eliminated the federal guaranteed student loan program and nationalized student loans. Prior to this takeover, private lenders offered student loans at low interest rates.
The Department of Education effectively became a lending institution and is now the only place to administer student loans.
California colleges must authenticate online student’s identities who apply for state or federal financial aid. We spoke to one California professor who reports that she drops as many as 50% of her “ghost students” whom she cannot verify as real people.
Now we learn of another Obama-era bot scam, this one in Obamacare. The Blaze reports:
Joe Biden’s pandemic-era subsidies turned Obamacare into corporate welfare, sending billions to insurers for patients who never file a single claim.
At issue are the generous subsidies the Biden administration created for Affordable Care Act policies, sweeteners that are slated to expire in December. Making health care essentially free for millions of Americans, those policies have sent enrollment in Obamacare plans skyrocketing. But a recent study found they have also sparked a curious phenomenon: an estimated 12 million enrollees “without a single claim — no doctor visit, lab test, or prescription filled” in 2024.
Obamacare expansion has created an explosion of phantom patients — including 6.4 million of them so far in 2025. “Among those now eligible for zero-premium plans with low or no deductible,” the study found, “that number increased nearly sevenfold. … A whopping 40% of enrollees in fully subsidized plans had no claims in 2024. In 2024 alone, taxpayers sent at least $35 billion to insurers for people who paid no premiums and never used their plan,” the report said.
Our college professor, Kim Rich, searched all nine colleges in her district, the Los Angeles Community College District – there are 10,286 online sections within the colleges. “If just one fraudulent student in each class received $3,000 for three semesters in each class, that’s $30,858,000,” Rich said. She multiplied that by 4 years, and it grows to ~$123,000,000 just for her colleges.
That’s billions, not millions.
She has her students take two quizzes before the drop period in order to flush out the bots, and requires them to do a Zoom meeting with her. Last semester, she only had 2 of 40 students left after dropping all of the bots.
The scams our government has perpetrated on the American people are so criminal in nature, it’s as if they were trying to destroy the United States from within.
Prosecutions can’t come fast enough, and they should start at the top.

MANY people, more since the scamdemic than before it, prefer to avoid interacting with the AMA-Rockefeller medical murder model of medicine. Doctors are there to collect biometric data and sell toxins and fear; hospitals are places where people go to be murdered per protocol.
MANY people, people like me, enroll in the least-costly “health care” plan available, while choosing alternative ways to enjoy good health. I’ve been enrolled in a “Medicare Advantage” plan for years – for which I pay – and have never selected a primary care “doctor,” never visited a physician, never used a single “benefit.” I am a very real, healthy person. I insist on maintaining good health, which the “health care” system actively discourages in every way.
What intrigues me is the possibility that there could be many more people like me than I would have guessed. 12 million? That’s a lot of votes to undo the Obamacare participation mandates (they weren’t all eliminated).
How else are the Democrats to get votes beyond their union benefactors???
