Which of Gov. Jerry Brown’s Vetoes Did Gov. Newsom Sign?
Many bills previously vetoed are now law in California

California Globe contributor Chris Micheli recently published an article over at Fox and Hounds on bills that had been vetoed by Governor Jerry Brown over the past few years but signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom, or bills Brown vetoed that were also vetoed by Newsom.
With the help of all the Assembly and Senate policy committee consultants, as well as the Assembly and Senate Republican Caucus consultants, Micheli said their collective research found 66 bills (45 ABs and 21 SBs) that Governor Newsom signed after Governor Brown had vetoed earlier versions, while 22 bills (15 ABs and 7 SBs) were vetoed by both governors.
