California Voters Already Having Trouble Casting Votes in Recall Election
San Fernando Polling Center Tells Some Republicans They ‘Already Voted’
By Katy Grimes, September 13, 2021 10:46 am
Some California voters showing up to vote in person are finding out that they already voted. Only they didn’t.
KTLA reported Saturday:
Some San Fernando Valley voters think they are being wrongly prevented from casting a ballot in the upcoming gubernatorial recall election.
At El Camino Real Charter High School in Woodland Hills, some voters say they were told the computers showed them as already having voted, even though they had not.
West Hills resident Estelle Bender, 88, said she was far from the only person who was being told incorrectly that they had already voted.
In addition to friends of hers who experienced the issue and two other women outside the polling place, Bender said that inside, “the man next to me was arguing the same thing.”
It’s deja vu all over again.
“Thousands of voters in the June 7, 2016 California Primary election showed up at the polls across the state to discover their political party registrations had been changed, or dropped altogether… but only after they had received official sample ballots verifying their party registration in the mail,” I reported in January 2017. “This only could have been done within the Secretary of State’s VoteCal system.”
“Thousands of Republican and Democratic voters reported to the Election Integrity Project that they arrived at their designated polling stations on June 7th to find that their party affiliation had been changed. Most reported being re-registered “No Party Preference,” California’s version of “Decline to State.” Others said their registrations were dropped, or they received the wrong ballot, which in many cases prevented them from voting for President in the primary.”
“The Election Integrity Project’s Linda Paine said they noticed a pattern in several Southern California counties during Election Day. However, as the polls closed, Paine said they were contacted by large numbers of voters throughout the state upset that their party affiliation was changed, and had to vote using a provisional ballot.”
As EIPCa’s Paine explained, the many failures of the California electoral system allowed it to provide a unique perspective of what occurs without important protections, such as the chain-of-custody of vote-by-mail ballots, as well as oversight by diligent election officials.
The Los Angeles County Voter Registrar issued a press release September 11 announcing “253 Vote Centers open and available for voting in the California Gubernatorial Recall Election.” However, in the same statement, Elections Clerk Dean Logan said, “The safest way to participate in this election is to return the Vote by Mail ballot by mail (no postage required) or returning the ballot at any participating Ballot Drop Box or Vote Center.”
KTLA reported the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s office said in a statement that provisional ballots are a “failsafe option” to ensure that everyone’s votes are counted.
Larry Elder has an election integrity link on his campaign website to StopCAFraud.com where constituents can fill out and submit a petition demanding a special session of the California Legislature to investigate results of this 2021 Recall Election of Governor Gavin Newsom.
A new ad by Ric Grenell’s “Fix California” addresses the reality of voter fraud. They ask Californians to go to fixcalifornia.com to share examples of voter fraud.
In July, Fix California reported that mass irregularities in California’s registration and voting numbers continue to erode voter confidence, which is why Grenell and his team at Fix California launched a statewide legal survey analyzing the current status of voter rolls throughout the state. They said they are prepared to file lawsuits against counties.
Some California counties have an astoundingly high number of ineligible registrants:
Sacramento County: 36,737, Orange County: 92,014, San Diego County: 247,671, Los Angeles County: 1,138,910, even tiny Alpine County with 924 eligible citizens has 85 ineligible registrants.
Both Elder and Grenell ask California voters to be vigilant when voting in the recall election, and for good cause. Given what I reported in 2016 with voter party registrations changed and voters being provided a provisional ballot, and KTLA’s report of voters over the weekend saying they were told the computers showed them as already having voted and also being provided a provisional ballot, something isn’t right. These irregularities along with Election Integrity Project® California’s report finding California’s November 3, 2020 election was marred by significant voting and registration irregularities, and another all-vote-by mail election in California, voters are questioning whether elected officials are safeguarding the ballot box.

This is being replicated in many counties across Commiefornia. Be ready for another Dem scam this Tuesday. We’ve already seen ballot tampering in this recall elections for weeks now. They cannot win in a legit race, so being that there are no morals on that side of the aisle, big surprise. If the cook in charge stays in charge, you will see an even greater exodus from this once great state.
???? that tin foil hat is clearly cutting off the blood flow to your brain.
Boy, I say boy. You are what we call in the south “retarded”.
After hearing about this I checked my status and found my 2020 vote was received on 2 November even though I didn’t vote until the afternoon of the 3 November. I don’t know if that is a significant issue for reporting but it is significant enough to erode what little remaining faith I have in California fair elections. I can’t believe how far and low the party I used to support has fallen, they’ve become a repellant. I’m now registered Republican and vote (R) all the way down the ballot. I probably belong in the nonexistent Moderate party in the middle.
Troubling but not surprising.
If you mailed your ballot or are planning to.
Take a picture of your ballot envelope on both sides for a time stamp for your reference.

Do not let this dissuade you. We must vote and follow up.
The article cites an election official as saying that the provisional ballots (provided when the system says you voted already) are a “failsafe option to make sure all votes are counted. Does this include erasing the vote that was there ahead of time? I’m thinking the Democrats have this cheating thing completely figured out. Another steal is on.
Incredible!
But unfortunately, not unexpected.
So which votes will the Secretary of State allow to be counted – the fake votes that were hijacked or the provisional votes that the eligible rightful voters were forced to accept.
Oh, you weasels are playing victim again. Can you ever win a legitimate election? Or is this the standard whine about being cheated every time you lose? What a bunch of losers you are. This country would be better off if you went somewhere you felt more comfortable . Russia perhaps? The Republican party is our version of the Taliban.
Where’s your “r”, you dumbass Chinese shill???

It’s all about policy, not party and Democrat policies have ruined every city, state, and country where they have been implemented.
So if CA election officials are already aware of the issue many people are having with being shown as “voted” why are we continuing the election? That alone should be enough to suspend the current recall or something. SO discouraging. No voter ID, no legal elections. I sure hope Larry Elder’s campaign is aware of this!
Larry Elders campaign is aware of it,Trust me,he is another Trump bootlicker, and I hope everything comes out about this man. Larry Elders is the one pushing this lie, because they cant win a legitimate election in California. So there pushing the federal big lie,to see if it will persuade voters to vote for the recall. ESPECIALLY since the recall is already failing. Newsom is ahead with the votes already received by 10 points, so this is why they are nervous, that they spent millions and are still going to lose, and I hope it happens.
I know my vote in 2020 in San Francisco County wasn’t counted. They had ranked choice elections there, so I thought I’d test the system by voting for the most incomprehensible combinations in some down-ballot races that nobody else would choose. Sure enough, my combinatorics didn’t show up in the final tally
This is precisely why voting needs to be in person only and only with a valid ID, with very few exceptions made.
I had no problem voting in California. Never have in the 30 years that I’ve lived here.
Not once.
I’m a California native. I’ve voted in person and by mail and have never had any problem whatsoever. And no one I know has ever had a problem either.

Was at the Robby Water’s Sac Library trying to vote. (First I went to CA Museum. I could not find parking.) Drive 9 miles to vote at the Robby Water’s library. A samoan man, I know this because he had a hat that said Samoa, said to me, and I have video, “The lady is telling me I already voted. I have not voted yet.” Then one of their machines broke and the internet went down. After sharing this info with the long line of waiting voters at the Robby Waters Library, and telling them where they can go, I drove to drive to a third location. Went to the Welfare office at 2450 Florin Road, Sacramento. It was seamless. Decided to ask for a paper ballot to see if anyone had voted for me. They hadn’t. Voting should not take all morning. And after hearing the stories of people going into the vote, learning someone already voted for them. They then had to do a provisional ballot, I decided to opt out of the ballot that was mailed to me. Can’t imagine what it will be like when going over the provisional ballots. I hope there is representation from the candidates there.
