‘Sociopathic,’ ‘Slippery Eel of Nothingness’ Gov. Newsom Responsible for Two More Celebrities Leaving California
Jillian Michaels, Adam Carolla leaving ‘Horrible’ California

Last week on the Sage Steele Show, fitness guru Jillian Michaels announced that she’s had enough of California and is leaving the state.
“I grew up here. I’m a woman. I’m a gay woman. My mom’s a Jew. My dad’s an Arab. I have a Black kid. And believe it or not, my son is half Latin, even though he doesn’t look like it,” Michaels said. “I hold a million cards in your game of woke victimology poker. And when I leave California, maybe you’ve lost your f—ing mind. Just maybe! Like when you have me running from home, maybe it’s gone way too far.”
This week comedian and podcast host Adam Carolla is also joining the mass exodus from California, also announced in an appearance on “The Sage Steele Show. And he didn’t make this announcement quietly – Corolla took some accurate parting shots at “sociopathic” Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom.
During his appearance on “The Sage Steele Show,” Carolla was asked how he could still live in Los Angeles, a question he responded to with a loud groan and exclaimed, “It’s horrible,” Fox News reported.
After telling host Sage Steele how he grew up in L.A. and that his comedy roots were made in the city, Carolla insisted it’s “time to move.”
“I have twins, and they’re in their senior year of high school and I couldn’t- I didn’t want to pick up and, you know, tear up their roots, you know? So people always go, ‘When are you leaving?’ And I go, I will be attending their high school graduation in a U-Haul,” Carolla quipped.
Most Californians know how and why California businesses are fleeing the once-Golden State in droves. Small, medium and large businesses are packing up and moving to business friendlier states for lower taxes, fewer regulations, and affordable housing for their employees. And they are moving because they are rewarded for being in business by other states – unlike California, which makes it as painful as possible to do business in this state.
Chief Executive Magazine reports annually on the Best and Worst States for Business. Predictably, in their Best and Worst of 2023, California is ranked number #50 – and in 2022, and 2021, and 2020, again, and again, and again, and again.
“The top states Californians are leaving for – as we’ve become accustomed to, Florida and Texas, North and South Carolina and Tennessee,” the Globe reported in January. “U-Haul reports that Idaho, Washington, Arizona, Colorado and Virginia were also in the top 10 states for inbound migration.”
“Exorbitant housing costs, overcrowding, and hefty tax burdens have become, for some, insurmountable challenges in these urban centers,” PODS reports. “As a result, many residents find themselves priced out and seeking reprieve from major cities. This mass relocation underscores the growing appeal among Americans in prioritizing access to nature and a more sustainable quality of life over the pace of city living.”
“High taxes, high cost of living – highest-in-the-nation housing costs, highest-in-the-nation gas prices, failing public schools, and loss of parental rights – all factor in the decision to move,” the Globe reported in January.
PODS also notes that Companies are flocking to southern sunbelt states like Texas, Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina, and Tennessee, according to global data center Iron Mountain. because of lower operational costs, tax incentives, and better value for employees.
The famous and wealthy can afford the unaffordable parts of California, so what is causing them to leave?
Jillian Michaels’ decision to leave – crime and trans sex changes for kids:
Michaels, who now lives in Miami, insisted she hasn’t changed but “the world around me is shifting and I haven’t moved.”
“Some of these laws that are passing here are absolutely f—ing mind-boggling,” Michaels said. “In relation to crime, protecting our kids, like, we’re decriminalizing everything, which arguably I would probably be okay with but we’re not regulating any of it. So it’s like, okay, you’re gonna decriminalize sex work but only so women can loiter on the streets, not to keep them safe, not to have them pay taxes, not to make them, you know, regularly check for STDs, not to take away the pimps out of the equation. Like if you made that argument to me, I’d be like, ‘well, yes, of course.’”
“Or the fact that a 12-year-old child can be put on off-label cancer drugs to irreparably change their body,” she said. “Again, if my son came to me and said, ‘Mom’ — or my daughter — ‘I think I’m trans.’ I’d say okay, you know, like, you want to dress this way. You want me to call you whatever the heck you want, dress, fine. Explore it. I love you. I’m cool, do you as long as we’re safe, but we’re not changing your body until it’s fully developed. I’m sorry. Conversation’s over. Can’t get a f—ing tattoo!”
Good for her. Newsom has taken up the benevolent goal of manipulating transgender ideology on toddlers, middle schoolers and teenagers, and parents should flee the public schools and the state if possible, now that we are a “transgender sanctuary state.”
Adam Corolla’s decision to leave:
Carolla called California’s problems “self-imposed” and “super avoidable,” insisting that the Golden State never “pumped the brakes.”
“I say to a lot of people like, when’s it end? When do we change course? And the number one answer is, ‘We haven’t bottomed out yet. We’re getting near it. We haven’t totally bottomed out.’ And then I say, ‘Why is it necessary to bottom out?’” Carolla wondered. “It’s like saying, you know, I was looking for some stuff in my son’s room and I found some syringes and a baggie of heroin. But he hasn’t flatlined yet, okay? I have not walked in and seen foam coming out of his mouth or him convulsing. And you go, ‘Yeah, I know, but why don’t you get him in some treatment now?’ And you go ‘Because his heart hasn’t stopped yet.’ And it’s like, ‘Yeah, I know, but why do we have to bottom out?’ We know where we’re going. Let’s reverse course. California and Los Angeles can’t do it.”
But Governor Newsom claims California is great and those who say otherwise are just mean “California bashers.”
“There’s only one state in the nation with a dream, the California Dream,” Newsom said Tuesday morning in his pre-recorded State of the State. Newsom’s only goal has been to elevate his image. I predicted in 2018 that Newsom would “burn it down and leave.”
He’s clearly burning it down now, and just announced he and his family are moving back to Marin County…

Delicious article. Perfect for this day at the end of June when Newsom has deigned to send out a press release or memo or whatever it was he did to cover his extremely late State of the State obligation. Guess he never had his ducks enough in a row to do a State of the State when it would have been relevant, huh? Oh wait. He STILL doesn’t have his ducks in a row. Just the opposite. So he sends out a press release. What a guy.
But I digress. Everything in the article — all quotes, all information — is absolutely 100% TRUE, of course. Sorry to see people like Jillian Michaels and Adam Carolla LEAVE (sigh) but all the best to them and I’m so glad they left with highly quotable parting shots. Which were also ALL TRUE.
So that prick Gavin Newsom is moving back to Marin County, huh? Well, one thing we know, is that he will be surrounded by people he saved from having to put up with mandated stack-and-pack rabbit hutches in their midst, and he and his family will be saved from it, too. Why? Because he saw to it when he was Lt Gov way back when that Marin County would be EXEMPTED (until 2028) from so-called “affordable housing” mandates, unlike cities and counties in the rest of the state, some of whom he and his ridiculous A.G. Rob Bonta have SUED in the meantime. The Marin County A.H. exemption still has four years to go before anybody even has to THINK about it again (and get the inevitable extension). Gee, I’m so happy to know that Gavin Newsom and his ilk will be able to bask in wealthy suburban splendor in the meanwhile. Great job, Governor! Jerk.
Ahh just like a true arsonist. Burn it down and hope no one clues in you are the guy who is holding the matches and gasoline.
The California Dream has turned into the California Nightmare, just ask a franchise owner, a nail tech, a recent college grad…..
If only, he would retreat to Marin and retire from politics, maybe we would have a shot at reviving the California Dream.
Au contraire- Newsom is quite proud of his “work” destroying California and running up the budget deficit- just ask him…
Ha, Au Contraire 😆 I suppose he very well is.
After all he belongs to the climate change cult! His WEF overlords got what they paid for!
Does anyone buy into his narrative going back to Marin for the kids schooling excuse?
I wonder how connected he is to the Duong California Waste Solutions political money laundering scheme? Or is he getting ready to be called up as the reliever for Joe Biden?
It’s anyone’s guess, CG. I think he’s screwed either way, but of course more so if it turns out to be the first one. We could put money on our pick about his fate but I guess it would be wrong to set up a betting pool here at The Globe comments section. 🙂
Newsom’s pre-recorded, heavily produced, “State of the State” is not something anyone should watch — or listen to — if they want to keep their blood pressure or dinner down. The only way to keep your sanity and not spit is to listen to the annotated version I heard today from John Phillips and Randy Wang, KABC-AM 790. Even then…. cut it short and bail if you simply can’t stand it. It’s pretty sickening:

Let us not forget that when these companies leave, the employees who do not follow lose their medical insurance which, in the long run will be another taxpayer burden.
I’m hoping pencil neck, hair gel is still Governor when all the Real Americans are gone and only useless sponging libtards and unproductive, homeless addicts are left in CA. That would be very funny indeed!
I just wanted to let you all know that we got out of the State the day they called it a pandemic. We bought a truck and trailer to look at the United States and then looked for land/ homes to live in and free state!
Quit voting for the wrong people to help the state.
