The chart provides a listing of the types of information that is available on the California ‘LegInfo’ website

The following chart provides a listing of the types of information that is available on the California “LegInfo” website for legislation:
| Topic | Explanation |
| Text | Complete text of bills with annotations to identify material added/removed due to amendments |
| History | Chronological listing of legislative activity for each bill (where the bill was heard, if amended, approved, etc.) |
| Status | Current location of a bill and pending action |
| Analyses | Staff reports describing the history and impact of the legislation and arguments of the groups supporting and opposing the bill |
| Comments to Author | Members of the public can submit comments to the author of the legislation |
| Compare Versions | Allows the reader to compare the introduced version of the measure to all subsequent versions (amended, enrolled, and chaptered) |
| Status | Provides the status of where the measure is currently located |
| Today’s Law As Amended | Allow the reader to compare existing law to the changes being proposed to be made by the legislation |
| Votes | Record of votes in committee and on the floor |
| Vetoes | Text of Governor’s veto message |
