Biden Admin Embraces California’s Alarming ‘Disinformation’ Control Plan
Thought police jump off of the pages of George Orwell’s 1984 and into US government

“Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified Wednesday that the Department of Homeland Security is creating a ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ to combat misinformation ahead of the 2022 midterms,” Fox News reported.
It appears the Biden administration is embracing yet more of California’s disastrous ideas. But this isn’t an original thought.
The Globe reported in February, Assemblyman Evan Low (D-Campbell) partnered with Sen. Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) to prevent the spread of dangerous “misinformation” under the guise of “protecting public health.”
The bill will be “requiring platforms share data with researchers?” Is Sen. Pan referring to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s full-time team combatting COVID propaganda?” In February Gov. Newsom admitted he already has “a team of people at HHS battling in the trenches and on social media trying to push back,” the Globe reported.
“I introduced Senate Bill 1018 to address the amplification of misinformation and disinformation on online platforms by requiring platforms to publicly disclose how their algorithms work and to share data for research purposes,” Sen. Pan said. “Transparency will allow the public to make informed decisions, and lawmakers and researchers need this necessary information so we can hold online platforms accountable and also set standards.”
That screams state censorship of online news platforms by Thought Police.
It was only last summer when White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at a press conference that the Biden administration was also addressing the amplification of misinformation and disinformation on online platforms by flagging “problematic” posts for Facebook to censor because they contained “misinformation” about COVID-19. “We are in regular touch with the social media platforms and those engagements typically happen through members of our senior staff and also members of our COVID-19 team — given as Dr. Murthy conveyed, this is a big issue, of misinformation, specifically on the pandemic,” Psaki said, the New York Post reported.
Some of those plans could be hampered with Elon Musk purchasing Twitter.
George Orwell introduced thought police called “Thinkpol” in his 1949 novel, 1984. His “Thinkpol” refers to the group of men and women responsible for monitoring the thoughts of all citizens of Oceania.
SB 1018 passed the Senate Judiciary Committee April 26th.

Both of these bills, AB 2098 and SB 1018, are COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS and UNACCEPTABLE. You don’t need to be a constitutional scholar to know they are certainly unconstitutional on their face. Do these legislators care? No. They’re obsessed with crushing people and, apparently, the more that citizens protest and scream about it, the more these maniacs dearly love shoving it up our noses. AB 2098, going after the medical licenses of physicians who won’t toe the propaganda line of these monster legislators. SB 1018, giving them the green light to control info on the internet with the blessing of the state. Sounds like we’re having a nightmare (another one), but no, we’re awake! The Power Disease has seriously made an evil oozing mess out of these people’s brains. How do these tin gods have the chutzpah to even THINK about proposing this garbage?

I wonder what this ministry of truth committee looks like when I’m going city to city and standing on the corner shouting things they don’t agree with. Am I going to be taken away at gunpoint? Clearly they are only talking about electronic information now but thats not the only method of getting a message out and when that gets plugged up, people may be forced to go back to traditional methods like standing in the town square.
