Gov. Gavin Newsom’s In-Laws Fled California for Florida During Covid
The Seibels also made a $5,000 contribution to Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in April

California Governor Gavin Newsom appears obsessed with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. And now we may know the reason for his compulsion.
Fox News is reporting today, “Not only did the in-laws of Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom give money to one of his biggest political foes; they fled from his state during the pandemic.”
“Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, parents of Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel and longtime California residents, became Florida residents in 2020 after purchasing a $3.3 million Naples home in March of that year, records show. The Siebels appear to still have ownership of their California home in northern San Francisco suburb of Ross.”
A few days ago we discovered that Newsom’s in-laws also made a significant $5,000 contribution to Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on April 6, 2022.
Newsom has lobbed shots at DeSantis since the Florida Governor kept his state open during Covid, while Newsom not only locked down California businesses, schools and people in their homes, but still holds his emergency powers under his March 4, 2020 State of Emergency declaration – 940 days later.
In April, Newsom criticized DeSantis on Twitter for “punishing Disney over its opposition to Florida’s new law banning discussion of sexual orientation in early grades,” calling the action “authoritarian.” Gov. Newsom claimed “We protect free speech in California. Punishing businesses for speaking out against hatred is the move of an authoritarian regime.”
DeSantis responded in-kind: calling San Francisco a ‘dumpster fire’ and saying he doesn’t want Golden State businesses moving to Florida.
In June, Gov. Newsom purchased $105,000 of cable television ad buys in Florida to air on July 4th.
Newsom’s July 4th ad was bizarre: “It’s Independence Day, so let’s talk about what’s going on in America,” says Newsom in the ad. “Freedom is under attack in your state. Republican leaders are banning books, making it harder to vote, restricting speech in the classroom, even criminalizing women and doctors.”
“I urge all of you living in Florida to join the fight, or join us in California. We still believe in freedom, freedom of speech, freedom to choose, freedom from hate, and the freedom to love. Don’t let them take your freedom.”
In August, Newsom pledged $100,000 to the campaign of former Republican Governor and current Democratic gubernatorial candidate of Florida Charlie Crist in the latest political maneuver against Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis.
“Kenneth Siebel, an investment manager, is a longtime GOP donor, according to Federal Election Commission filings,” Fox News reported. “His most recent donations include contributions to the campaigns of Republicans Sens. Ron Johnson, Tom Cotton and Josh Hawley.”
The Newsom/Seibel family get-togethers must be awkward.

HA HA! This is pretty delicious stuff. Awkward family get-togethers? Boy, you’re not kidding. Oh to be a fly on the dining room wall in the Florida Siebel home at Thanksgiving!
This is so delicious!
Every family has an a**hole in law! The Sieibels are no exception.
My sympathies to you, Mr. and Mrs. Seibel.
We HAD an asshole family member years ago- he was raised by crazy parents. But he figured it out. But since every family has to have one, we now take turns. I think I’m up.

Did they have a picture of Governor Frat Boy next to that exact description of his sick and unfortunate personality???
Mr. Siebel must think of Gavin as “my dumbass son-in-law”…. but judging from the looks of the ‘First Partner’, she appeals to me as one of those country-club “Buffy’s” who only married Governor Dumbass for the prospect of his money, prestige and power….if he loses his Presidential aspirations, who wants to lay odds that she dumps him???
I predict that she will dump him, CriticalDfence9. That’s what wife no. 1, Kimberley Guilfoyle did. She is now with Donald Trump, Jr. and Siebel will find “greener pastures” as well.
Body Language on Bit Chute has among other reviews, Gavin squirming when a reporter is asking him tough questions. Mentality of monitor lizard.
And the conscience of one.
And the conscience of one as well.
Thanks fellow Fed Up. I immediately cut and pasted the Mayo Clinic description so I can throw it on the table when describing/criticizing several local jerks.
Narcissitic? Huh, sounds exactly like Donald Trump.
Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom is the very definition of narcissim. He and his soul need to be held accountable for heinous crimes against humanity by imposing medical tyranny during the COVID plandemic.
I bet the Siebels can’t stand him but remain cordial for their daughter and grandkids. Thats what I do with my idiot son-in-law. And it is hard, very hard to pretend to like someone who has completely different morals and values.
Oh, the irony! The perfect NON-Endorsement. At least the children will have inherited some modicum of life and business sense, however distant.
Lol. 🙂
Gavin both looks and acts like a snake-human hybrid.
So the wealthy Siebels bought a $3.3 million Naples home in 2020 but still have ownership of their California home in northern San Francisco suburb of Ross? No doubt they are typical Democrat hypocrities who claim Florida as their fulltime tax base so as to limit their exposure to California’s onerous taxes that have been imposed by Democrat legislators?
I’m new to California globe-saw it on a bumper sticker on a vehicle with California plates while driving in Tennessee . Agree newsome and the rest of the democrat apparatus is indeed a treacherous entity led by traitors whose underlings are rather ignorant. Whenever democrats take over / occupy government positions crime soars, economies fail and on an international level peace declines and war increases!
That is awesome that you saw the Globe on a bumper sticker in Tennessee.
