Senate Bill 700 by Sen. Steven Bradford (D-Los Angeles) has recently been amended to address employment discrimination due to cannabis use. SB 700 would amend Government Code Section 12954 to make it unlawful for an employer to request information from an applicant for employment relating to the applicant’s prior use of cannabis.
This bill would specify that “it is unlawful for an employer to request information from an applicant for employment relating to the applicant’s prior use of cannabis.” It also restates that this section of the Government Code “does not permit an employee to possess, to be impaired by, or to use, cannabis on the job, or affect the rights or obligations of an employer to maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace, or any other rights or obligations of an employer specified by federal law or regulation.”

So Democrat Senator Steven Bradford’s bill has been amended to it make it unlawful for an employer to request information from an applicant for employment relating to the applicant’s prior use of cannabis? What’s curious about Senator Steven Bradford is how he got elected in the 35th senate district when it’s overwhelmingly Hispanic? The Democrat cabal must have made sure he was installed?
Mario who cares what race a person is as long as he is effectively serving his constituents. We have to get beyond race and view each other aa the human race. Thats the only way we will ever be inclusive of everyone if we stop uusing eords that divides us. What we are share is our himanity
Democrat Senator Steven Bradford does not serve his constituents who are mostly Hispanic. He serves his Marxist Democrat cabal masters and the many lobbyists like the big labor unions that support him. If he really cared about humanity, maybe Senator Steven Bradford should first disavow racist black supremacy, reparations, and affirmative action programs that discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity and gender?
