CA Assembly Chief of Staff Crashes Nick Shirley’s Video, Mocking Shirley’s Penis

‘Nick Shirley has a small penis’ the Chief of Staff said

I wasn’t going to give the “small penis” story the time of day, except it’s blowing up.

Citizen journalist Nick Shirley was in Sacramento at the Capitol Tuesday and Wednesday covering his own memorial bill, nicknamed the “Stop Nick Shirley Act.”

The Globe has covered AB 2624 by Assemblywoman Mia Bonta (D-Oakland), and wife of California’s Attorney General Rob Bonta, that will fine citizen journalists a minimum $4,000 for exposing fraud inside “Immigration Support Service Providers.”

The bill is a gross violation of everyone’s First Amendment rights.

I reported on Assemblywoman Bonta’s proposed legislation to criminalize independent journalists in April, in “California Democrats Violate First Amendment to Criminalize Investigative Journalism.”

Bonta’s bill, Assembly Bill 2624, would impose huge civil sanctions on independent investigative reporters for “harassing” what Bonta calls “immigrant services” workers who, in fact, are providing taxpayer-funded goods and services to illegal aliens.

California legislators are trying to make investigating fraud illegal, as Elon Musk noted on X:

Within two days, Ms. Bonta claimed “Right-wing agitators, ineffective legislators, and Trump loyalists are intentionally spreading significant misinformation about Assembly Bill 2624.”

While the legacy media in California is silent on AB 2624, the Globe contacted the Society of Professional Journalists, the First Amendment Coalition, and Electronic Frontier Foundation for their positions on this gross violation of the First Amendment.

Not one First Amendment organization bothered to reply or to weigh in on this very serious bill.

But Wednesday, most lawmakers dodged Nick Shirley when he asked them why they were supporting Bonta’s bill. A few were supporters of the bill claiming it was only to protect “immigrant services” workers – which is hogwash.

As Shirley was chatting with Assemblyman Joe Patterson (R-Sacramento) about the bill, a strange, effeminate man barged in on their conversation, waving flyers in their faces, and ranting about Nick Shirley’s “small penis.”

Shirley said, “that’s really mature of you,” to the fellow.

You can watch Nick Shirley’s video here:

The strange effeminate man started confronting passers by asking them if they knew that Nick Shirley has a small penis.

In a moment of levity, Shirley looks into the camera and says “I’m packing. I’m doing just fine… He has to lift a lot of flab just to be able to see his.”

Yours truly guffawed. Loudly.

At one point, Shirley seized the folder of posters from the fellow, and lots of drama ensued.

Shortly thereafter, Shirley posted that the effeminate fellow shrieking about Nick Shirley’s penis is Terry Schanz, Chief of Staff for California State Assemblywoman Tina McKinnor (D-Inglewood).

Shanz has a lengthy history inside of the State Capitol as a Democrat staffer and party man.

Shanz is a longtime Democrat legislative staffer. He has been a Chief of Staff in the State Assembly for about nine years. He previously worked as a consultant and in staff roles in the California State Senate starting around 2003, including as interim Chief of Staff, and has also served as Chief of Staff in the Senate.

There is no report about why Terry Shanz inserted himself in the middle of Nick Shirley’s story, other than he’s a nitwit and narcissist. His boss should have a come-to-Jesus-meeting with him over his inappropriate and unprofessional conduct. Many are calling for an investigation and termination of Schanz.

The Assembly is incapable of conducting a legitimate HR investigation, and likely agree with what Terry Schanz did.

According to KCRA, Shanz is a native of Sacramento and of Land Park. He ran for Sacramento City Council in 2012.

As the “small penis” dust-up was taking place outside of the Capitol, Assemblyman Carl DeMaio (R-San Diego) was being censored inside the Assembly by Democrats when he tried to debate the Stop Nick Shirley Act bill during the Assembly session.

I hope Democrats watch the video again, and are able to recognize what toddlers they are.

Watch DeMaio’s video about what happened, and let that sink in. That Democrats shut down an elected Assembly colleague because they don’t like what he was saying, tells you everything you need to know about the tyranny of the left.
