Democrats No Longer Serve We the People – it’s all Political Theatre

Democrats across the country regularly drop F-bombs, ratchet up profanity, and publicly call for violence against Republicans

Remember when Democrat politicians cared about representing the people by serving on city councils, in statehouses and in Washington D.C.? You may have to go back a few decades.

Despite his wife’s never-ending lust for power and control, President Bill Clinton worked in a bipartisan manner with Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on welfare reform in 1996. Those reforms enacted modest work requirements and reduced dependency and child poverty, until President Barack Obama and his Democratic colleagues in 2012 gutted those reforms and opened the door to increased dependency, fraud and abuse. The Trump administration is now trying to fix it by reinstating work requirements, but can’t find five Senate Democrats to continue funding SNAP benefits.

At the time Democrats undermined Clinton’s signature legislation, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) warned, “the linkage of work and welfare is essential to prevent welfare from becoming a way of life.”

The Trump administration is now contending with over 100 million Americans, including illegal aliens, on some form of government welfare. The more people on welfare, the more power the Democrats wield, therefore the Democrats have zero interest in reforming a system that creates dependents who routinely vote them into office.

Other than Democrat Senator John Fetterman (PA), modern “progressive” Democrats appear to have no interest in public service, protecting American citizens, or honoring the traditional norms and concerns of their respective communities at large.

The congressional election of bartender Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, who claims she’s just the “girl from the Bronx,” epitomizes the current political-performance theatre. She was chosen out of 10,000 candidates to run, The Hayride reported in 2019.

The Justice Democrats held auditions for potential congressional candidates across the U.S.– not just in New York. AOC’s brother, Gabriel, submitted her name to the organization to be considered. (emphasis added)

“My brother told me that he had sent my nomination in the summer, but I was literally working out of a restaurant. I was like, no way!”

Literally? Like, no way!

The Hayride reported that Justice Democrats in 2016  put “out a call for potential candidates to run for Congress.” The brains behind the entire operation was Corbin Trent, a Saul Alinsky disciple, or AOC’s “puppet master.”

This is the Justice Democrats’ mission:

“To build people power in our country by electing a bloc of working class leaders in Congress who meet the urgency of our political moment and serve the people’s agenda — not the interests of big corporate donors.”

Yet, Justice Democrats are filling up political offices with well-funded, well-heeled extremists rather than candidates who want to serve their fellow citizens.

In addition to Ocasio Cortez, Justice Democrats have sponsored Cori Bush (MO), Ro Khanna (CA),  Ilhan Omar (MN), Ayanna Presley (MA), Rashida Tlaib (PA), and Pramila Jayapal (WA), who regularly, on the media circuit, make outrageous, unsubstantiated, defamatory claims about President Trump and Republicans while raking in big corporate cash.

It should then come as no surprise that Justice Democrats are backing Cori Bush again after her disastrous two terms in the U.S. House and primary ousting. Cori Bush was investigated by the DOJ for misusing hundreds of thousands of House funds for personal security detail while paying her husband as part of that security detail!

Prior to Ocasio Cortez’s rise was Barack Obama, also created out of whole cloth for politics. First a community organizer in Chicago, then onto the Illinois Statehouse, followed by a successful run for U.S. Senator. Only a few years into his “public service,” Obama was elected President of the United States. How is Obamacare, the “Affordable Care Act,” working out for the average American family?

Even Rep. Maxine Waters (CA), Sen. Cory Booker (NJ) and Sen. Chris Murphy (CT) are vying for “Best Actor” in Washington D.C.  Who could forget Rep. Waters calling for violence against Trump supporters or “storming” the doors of the Department of Education demanding entry into a corrupt, failed bureaucracy.

Ramping up the Anti-Trump performances, Democrats across the country regularly drop F-bombs, ratchet up the profanity, call for violence against Republicans in interviews, at protests and rallies, in press conferences, and on podcasts.

Riots and protests are standard tactics now for Democrats, to gin up interest, as well as a get-out-the-vote procedure.

Former Vice President and failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris just dropped several F-bombs on Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show. Her flailing running mate Governor Tim Walz (MN) asks his constituents to “bully the sh*t out of Trump.”

California Rep. Eric Swalwell, who had an affair with Fang Fang the Chinese spy, wants to know what the f*ck is up with tariffs, while many of us want to know what the f*ck Fang Fang is up to these days.

Progressive Texas actress Jasmine Crockett told Elon Musk to f*ck off. “Somalia First” Ilhan Omar (MN) told reporters to f*ck off.

At several Democrat rallies, “F*ck Trump” has become the rallying cry of the Democratic Party.

“I don’t swear in public very well, but we have to f*ck Trump,” said Rep. Maxine Dexter (OR) to wild cheers.

“In 2020, Nancy Pelosi tore up Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on national television, smirking,” Richie Greenberg wrote for the Globe. “She called it a protest against ‘lies.’ We saw it for what it was: a dramatic tantrum from a woman who believes rules apply to everyone but her. This wasn’t principle; it was performance art for the so-called ‘resistance.””

And who could forget that in back in 2017, their progressive theatrics borrowed from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar and featured actors assassinating a character in the likeness of President Trump. The performance was met with cheers by New York democrats and outrage by normal Americans. Fast forward to 2024 and 2025, many more Democrats cheered at the two attempted assassinations of Trump and the horrifying assassination of Charlie Kirk. This isn’t normal or traditional behavior of sane, hard-working Americans or “civil servants.”

American political culture, despite its unparalleled success, freedom and liberty, has Democrats in fits – they claim we have no culture. Culture is how we Americans do things – not just native dances and holidays. Culture is the relationship between the people and their government.

Enter Gavin Newsom, stage right.

Gov. Gavin Newsom also got the script and has not only called the President “old”, “fat”, and a “loser”, his communications staff thinks the edgier governor makes him a cool candidate for President.

Except, it doesn’t. Newsom’s fake outrage over everything from tariffs to the White House Ballroom, to men playing in women’s sports, or illegal aliens on Medicaid, is political performance theatre – especially his “outrage” at President Trump.

“California Gov. Gavin Newsom gloated over Democrats’ big election night with a crudely edited video of him giving President Trump a pro wrestling smackdown, along with other AI-powered images depicting the commander in chief as a cranky baby,” the NY Post reported.

“Continuing his shtick of trying to emulate Trump’s freewheeling social media style, Newsom included a clip of himself and former President Barack Obama bludgeoning the sitting president in the WWE ring.”

“Now that’s what we call a takedown,” Newsom crowed on his official X account alongside the wild video.

Going back to his San Francisco Mayor days, when Newsom granted gay marriage in the city, it was done to elevate his political career. Even then, Newsom had his staff rudely troll and attack the press:

Newsom’s political performances are being played out on social media and in front of podcasters and the Democrat media.

Sizzle… this is going to get messy with Ross Pike, Regional Director for the CA Democratic Party, spilling how Prop 50 funds could be redirected to support Newsom’s future campaign – Potentially Violating State Campaign Finance Law…

    NOT!
    If we want a good government we must be led by good people.
    There is a political well funded machine fueled by international money interests.
    They will even fund city council candidates.
    We need true campaign funding reform.

We are in desperate need of indictments and arrests of corrupt politicians —- even if it only initially occurs at the city-county level —- who are so brazen in their corrupt bubbles enabled by the corrupt political culture that they are outright ENCOURAGED to continue, full-speed ahead, in their crooked ways.
    Indictments and arrests must happen soon —- and hopefully continue from the crooked local politicians to the crooked statewide officeholders —- because the California citizenry see and experience the rot and corruption every day and, as a practical matter, are losing hope that their participation makes any difference at all in changing it.

  4. “If we want a good government we must be led by good people” I couldn’t agree more One Fed Up Cali Girl. My question is where did all the good people go and how did we end up with such a corrupt class of people in elected positions today? The bottom line to me is that ethics and integrity are sorely missing today. Leadership in the American form of government requires them both. We can’t legislate our way to them they are values that are instilled at an early age and followed throughout life voluntarily. Now for my bias from a Christian perspective. Our nation has turned its back on everything that is pure, just, and righteous and it is dragging us towards destruction from within because of a corrupt class of elected thieves. We have believed the lie that God is to be excluded from the public square and that there is a separation of “Church and State”. If one believes that there are no eternal consequences to behaving immorally and that the here and now is all there is why conduct yourself in an ethical manner? To those that do not want to have a relationship with God, that’s your choice and something that can’t be forced on to you. Nor would I. The Bible states that “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. We all have faith in something even if your faith is that you do not believe in God.

      @Hal. A person does not have to believe in God to be ethical and have integrity. I do agree with this part of your statement….that moral failure abounds in the body politic…..For example, the latest controversy over Tucker Carlson/Nick Fuentes and the Heritage Foundation’s Kevin Roberts. In this case, Roberts is being held to account, to some extent, for his failure. There are too many cases where this is not happening, however. Nancy Pelosi and her nephew are perfect examples of the self-absorbed grifters who get rewarded instead of shunned.

      That explains the moral rot this guy exudes…
      And his current “First Partner” used Harvey Weinstein to advance her entertainment career…
      They’re perfect for one another, imperfect people for sure, but DEFINITELY NOT what any sane jurisdiction would want for political leadership or idea generation…
      Personally, I believe Newsom is on the CCP payroll to advance their long-term political and land takeover plans….

    Everything they have done over the last 100 years has been with one objective – total destruction of the USA and then the rest of the world. The Democrat party is run by Satanists and death and destruction are their only true intentions.

  7. What if the Democrats real agenda today was to serve only the large government employee unions, like SEIU and the teachers unions?

    And growing government employment was their sole key to maintaining their election margins. And taking every last tax dollar to pay for this growing government employee union voter loyalty.

    Then imagine if expanding Democrat voter loyalty extended now to the “minority-owned” construction trades union members, who benefit from getting to the head of the line for allgovernment construction projects.

    Imagine, if this was the real Democrat agenda. Grow government employment. Grow government handouts. Why wouldn’t Democrats have a “very energized voting base”?
