Democrats’ Payback to Republican Assemblyman Bill Essayli for Supporting Parental Rights
How do these people sleep at night?

“California Democrats represent the antithesis of a constitutional republic. The biggest threat to democracy in America.”
That statement is from California attorney Julie Hamill, reacting to Assemblyman Bill Essayli’s revelation that Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas just removed him from the Judiciary Committee Thursday following a vote in the Assembly to end sanctuary state protections for pedophiles.
The Globe attended the floor session and covered the controversial reaction by Democrats to Essayli’s important bill to end sanctuary protections for illegal aliens convicted of sex crimes against minors.
“Last week Democrats silenced me for forcing a vote on the Floor to end sanctuary state protections for pedophiles,” Essayli said. “Today they are punishing me by stripping me of my seat on the Judiciary Committee. I will not be deterred by their threats and intimidation.”

“Mr. Democracy here removed me from the Judiciary Committee just hours ago,” Assemblyman Essayli posted on X. “We can all sleep better knowing Democrats are hard at work saving our democracy by jailing their political opponents, removing them from the ballot, and kicking them off committees.”
Touché.
Here’s what was behind the retaliatory move by Speaker Rivas:
Assemblyman Essayli’s legislation was inspired by Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) announcement that an illegal alien who raped an American child was released from California state custody. He says this is a direct result of California’s Sanctuary State laws for illegal immigrants.
Essayli just wanted his bill heard and debated. As he motioned to suspend the rules to allow his bill to be heard in the Assembly, the Assembly Speaker pro Tempore Jim Wood (D-Healdsburg) told him “Stop. Stop. Stop!” Essayli looked perplexed. “You went beyond making a motion – you started to go into debate,” Wood said. Essayli was making the motion to have his bill removed from the Public Safety Committee and taken up in the Assembly to end California’s “sanctuary state” protections for illegal immigrant pedophiles.
Last week following the Assembly vote, Essayli said:
“It is disgusting that Assembly Democrats just voted to protect illegal immigrant pedophiles. But they are now all on record that they care more about protecting illegal immigrants — even those who rape an innocent child — more than protecting American children. Today is a sad, shameful day in the California State Capitol.”
This week, it got even worse. Assembly Bill 1955, authored by Assemblyman Chris Ward (D-San Diego), which would prohibit schools from allowing parental notification regarding their child’s “changing” gender identity, without the pupil’s consent, advanced through the Senate Education Committee after some inflammatory testimony, as well as testimony disregarding parents concerns or rights. It was headed to the Senate Health Committee.
Assemblyman Ward said, “We need to let teachers teach and to provide a ‘safe, supportive environment.'” Except the environment is anything but safe because of activist teachers and activist school staff, I tweeted.
And then the unthinkable happened:
The California Senate pulled a fast one and voted to pull Assemblyman Ward’s AB1955 on trans minors’ parental notification from the Senate Health Committee and send it straight to the Appropriations Committee.
Assemblyman Essayli said:
This is “democracy” under the Democrat control. Suppress opposition. Break procedural rules designed to allow for transparency and debate. Rush rush rush before the public finds out what they’re up to.
Attorney Jennifer Kennedy asked on X:
Asm. Ward and Senate Rules, Why’d you pull #AB1955 from its hearing in Senate Health, sending it to Approps & thus eliminating further public debate b4 the Senate floor vote? Couldn’t stand prospect of People hearing more of its illegality from @ErinFriday75490? Please explain.
After the testimony earlier in the week, it was obvious that Democrats trying to shove this anti-parental rights bill through were trying to maintain control of the narrative via the media. They needed to make haste and move the bill into the no-fail Appropriations Committee, avoiding the Senate Health Committee.
This is shameless and illegal manipulation of the public committee process. But we’ve been witnessing this for years from Democrats – who ironically claim that Democracy is in peril when Republicans are elected, and then suspend the actual Democratic process whenever they need to, lest their creepy bills die naturally.
Perhaps even more ironic is Thursday’s news, as the Globe reported:
Today the Manhattan jury convicted former Pres. Donald J. Trump on all of the 34 charges brought by Alvin Bragg in what can only be described as a “miscarriage of justice.”
We still don’t know what the charges and crimes were.
Assemblyman Bill Essayli is receiving much the same treatment on a state-level scale, from Assembly colleagues, that Donald Trump has lived through for several years – they’d like to see Essayli gone from the Assembly. Stripping him of his committee assignments is their childish payback for his popular support of parents, and for daring to question Democrats’ own motives for pushing through such nasty bills seeking to allow harms onto children, such as transgenderism and sex trafficking.
Even Democrat State Senator Senator Susan Eggman was lauded across social media and the press when she said she’s done protecting people who “buy and abuse children.” She chastised her own party for protecting pedophiles on the Senate floor when lawmakers were debating legislation to make it a felony to purchase or solicit a minor for commercial sex in California.
Seriously.
However, I noted that Senator Eggman is termed out. She’s also a social worker by profession. Yet for years she remained silent about these disgusting bills, voting with her party.
As I posted on X, “This floor speech by Senator Susan Talamantes Eggman (D-Stockton) is telling. She’s termed out, and can now speak her mind about child sex trafficking – but couldn’t the previous 12 years? This is the authoritative power of the political party in charge… She’s often been a voice of reason in the CA Leg but was enslaved by party above principles. Think about it – child sex trafficking, and Democrats won’t support laws to make it a felony again.”
This is what Assemblyman Bill Essayli and any Republicans with strong convictions are up against. Voters need to ask themselves, “who is behind the statewide push convince kids they need to transition to the opposite sex, and why.” What fresh California hell encourages Democrat lawmakers to oppose bills to make sex-trafficking children a felony again, or laws which trigger sanctuary state protections thus covering up for illegal aliens having sex with minors.
Who are the Democrats supporting trans kids and sex trafficking minors? Are they being paid, or do they really believe in this twisted perversion?

Luckily for us, Asm Bill Essayli is the type of person who can’t help himself from doing the right thing and going on the record with it, come what may. He is exactly what we want in a California legislator. Perhaps the Dem/Marxists foolishly saw fresh red meat to consume when he, as a freshman assemblyman, arrived on the scene. But it sure looks like they have wised up since then. In addition to being scary-smart he is also savvy to the ways of sneaky, contemptible, petty persecution by Dem/Marxists and whoever else has wanted a piece of him over the years. He has seen it all before, he knows how to fight, and has remained steadfast. I suspect he is already beloved by the sensible people in his district and respected by the non-sensible. As long as these stupid clown moves by the mega-majority Dem legislature continue to be publicized his good reputation will only grow. If the people of this state have any power left —- and one way or another they certainly do —- this is bad news for a-holes like Robert Rivas & Co. and good news for decent and sensible CA residents —- and for politicians in the wings, too.
Termed-out Sen Susan Eggman’s too-little-too-late floor speech, which for all the wrong reasons went viral (another example of the CA freak show for your amusement, folks?) and was even covered in the UK Daily Mail and the NY Post, was a good thing in the sense that it lets US know that THEY know what they are doing. You know, that it’s not just the effect of insanity, brain-fever, or magic mushrooms. That’s a good thing, and a step in the right direction overall, even when we acknowledge there could be unseen metaphorical guns-held-to-heads behind these psycho Dem moves that “makes them” do what they do.
Action:
Step 1. Call Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas’ office at 916-319-2029
He represents counties of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz, including cities of Watsonville, Salinas and Soledad. He is open to persuasion. They care about “Quantity” of phone calls, not “Quality.” Be brief and polite. Calls may be entered in public record.
Example:
“My name is ___, and I am a registered voter from _____. Zip code _____. I would ask that Speaker Rivas immediately reinstate Bill Essayli on the Assembly Judiciary Committee. It is unethical to unilaterally reassign members of the Minority Party.
Secondly, I ask that you bring AB2641 back to the assembly floor for a full debate and vote. Illegal immigrants convicted of sex crimes against children should be deported. Thank you.”
Step 2: share with friends, especially those that live in his district CA AD29.
This is good. Should Rivas’ office shut you down because you have the “wrong” zip code, even though what these people do affects everyone in the entire state, there are ways around it. For instance you can leave a message after hours or you can email Speaker Rivas directly:

Assembly Speaker Rivas is a Democrat from Hollister. If you look at the demographics and crime statistics for this city, it is not surprising that he would go out of his way to protect criminal illegal alien pedophiles. Hollister is known for its famous “Wild Bunch” annual biker rally that benefits local businesses. Post covid, this rally has not be held mainly due to public safety concerns, i.e., the lack of support for law enforcement (https://benitolink.com/hollister-council-ponders-biker-rally-in-2024/). Rivas is doing what his master is demanding to further his own career. Another gutless Democrat in contrast to the person he replaced – Senator Anna Caballero (D) – who supported the pedophile bill introduced by Senator Shannon Grove (R).

Democrat Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas was probably installed in the 29th Assembly District with Democrat voter fraud and rigged voting machines along with help from the cartels? It’s curious as to how Rivas become Assembly speaker so quickly in his early 40’s with such a thin resume? He has a MA in public administration from San Jose State University, served on the San Benito County Board of Supervisors, and then after being installed in the 29th Assembly District announced that he had votes to become the next Speaker of the California State Assembly, challenging incumbent speaker Anthony Rendon. Rendon initially challenged Rivas’s claim but the Assembly later voted make Rivas the next Speaker in 2023, alongside re-electing current speaker Rendon for the 2022–23 year.
Maybe California Globe should have included of photo of Rivas along with this article? Rivas has creepy dark black eyes that look demonic and smiles like a scheming Cheshire cat? No doubt if the cartels tell him to jump, he says how high?

I have been wondering why some Republican reps instead of voting against a bill just decline to vote at all. This may explain why. Are they all afraid of being punished by the corrupt Democrat majority?
April —- In many cases I think YES is the answer. (Others are likely RINOs.) Thinking of those who have integrity, former Asm and Sen Melissa Melendez comes to mind. She has GUTS, she kept her head up, was very reality-based and told the truth, and did what she could against this nasty Dem maw, but I recall that she was routinely “put in the broom closet” by these disgusting Dems. Whether the broom closet was literal or figurative I don’t know but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was literal. Former Asm now Congressman Kevin Kiley also comes to mind. He was also routinely “punished” by these nasty freaking bully Dems. But he kept going and did what he could while he was in the assembly.
Easy for me to say, but it does seem as though there are ways to strategize so that a sensible legislator can be a leader in keeping important CA issues alive and at least discussed and debated. Asm Bill Essayli is a good example of that. He doesn’t let these pinheads get him down or stop him from doing what he needs to do. He publicizes and points out what’s wrong in the assembly, and shows us the assembly clowns. This brings him respect from us, which he continues to build on. A coalition is formed, which seems to me to be the best way to have an effect and eventually prevail in these very difficult circumstances.
Anyone who seeks an assembly seat had better be prepared to have some cajones and do the right thing if elected, after all. The sensible people in your district —- and actually now the sensible people in the entire state —- are depending on you. You will be doing the right thing, you will retain your dignity, and gather more and more supporters over time. Somebody’s gotta do it to break the stranglehold we have now! We can’t go on like this forever! Admire Asm Essayli very much for understanding this and being willing to DO IT.
