Governor Newsom Officially Begins Fight Against Recall Campaign
A significant portion of recall signees were independent or Democrats, as they are upset with Newsom too

Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday officially began his fight against his pending recall election by launching the Stop the Republican Recall political committee.
The Committee, which received immediate support from Senators Cory Booker (B-NJ), Alex Padilla (D-CA), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Bernie Sanders (I-VT), as well as Congresswoman Katie Porter (D-CA) and former Georgia state Representative Stacey Abrams, aims to Keep Newsom in office as Governor through at least 2022.
According to their website, the committee aims to keep Newsom in office because he “led the state through a global pandemic, record wildfires fueled by climate change and two years with Trump in the White House, he has earned the trust of Californians. He is working every day against difficult odds to keep our families safe, distribute vaccines, protect families from eviction and provide billions in direct relief to individuals and struggling small businesses.”
“Instead of helping fight the pandemic, national Republicans are coming to fight California,” says the site. “Add your name to help stop Republican recall. It’s a power grab.”
The Governor also gave a rare tweet about the impending recall on Monday, saying that he would fight it.
“I won’t be distracted by this partisan, Republican recall — but I will fight it,’” tweeted the Governor on Monday. “There is too much at stake. Getting Californians vaccinated, our economy safely reopened, and our kids back in school are simply too important to risk.”

In an email sent later on Monday, Newsom added that “I am not going to take this recall attempt lying down. I’m going to fight because there’s too much at stake in this moment.”
While Governor Newsom only occasionally addressed and dismissed the recall in previous weeks, including in an NBC News interview last week, Newsom’s actions on Monday have shown that he is now taking the recall threat seriously. On Friday, The California Patriot Coalition – RecallGavin2020 Committee, the groups who have fought to put the recall on the ballot since late last year, announced that they had received over 2 million signatures.
The extra 500,000 signatures are more than needed for a cushion in the case of rejected signatures. The recall is all but officially on in California this year, with a final announcement from the state due sometime in the next few months on if it passed for sure and when the election will take place.
Two prominent Republicans, former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and 2018 GOP Gubernatorial candidate John Cox, have also announced runs in 2021 in the recall, showing additional early threats against Newsom.
Stop the Republican Recall supporters attempt to make recall effort look as solely a Republican supported campaign
Prominent Democrats joined Newsom in denouncing the recall effort, painting it as solely a Republican-based recall effort.
“Gavin Newsom has shown the nation what courageous leadership looks like during the pandemic,” stated Senator Booker on Monday. “He’s made tough calls that kept Californians safe and helped them recover financially. Defeating this cynical, Republican recall effort will be one of the most important priorities for Democrats this year.”
The Stop the Republican Recall campaign also mentioned Republicans, as well as others such as anti-vaxxers and Q-anon supporters, in being behind the campaign.
However, many experts have said that this is inherently false.
“It is true that the recall campaign does have many donors and supporters on the right,” noted former lobbyist Harry Schultz to the Globe on Monday. “But it’s much more nuanced than saying it is a straight ‘Republican recall’. A significant portion of recall signees were independent or Democrats, as they have been upset with Newsom too. Polls have even backed this up, with more and more Democrats saying that they would vote to recall Newsom.
“There was even an Emerson poll released today that had 58% of all California voters being in favor of someone besides Newsom and another question only garnering 42% in saying they would keep Newsom in as Governor in the recall. Only 24% of voters in California are registered Republicans. Many Newsom supporters are just trying to hide that fact.
“Look at their website. Where they show Republicans, they are trying to paint them as crazy Q-anon conspiracists who all stormed the Capitol in January. That’s the image they’re trying to invoke in scaring Democrats, independents, and some Republicans from voting for the recall. It’s baseless, but if there is any consolation it shows you just how scared Newsom really is. He’s going with the most extreme spectrum right out of the gate. But if you look at those who have been collecting signatures, they’ve been a lot more logical by just pointing out what he has done.
“The Governor just doesn’t want to let it be known how much support he has actually lost, especially from his own party.”
Recent articles have also pointed out that voters saw faults and troubles in Newsom well before the pandemic, adding to the pile of mistakes and actions that led to the all-but-officially announced recall this year.
Further action by Stop the Republican Recall supporters against the recall attempt, such as more advertisements, are expected in the next few weeks as signatures continue to be verified by the state.

Newsom does not lead. He either dictates or parties with a bottle of PlumpJack with friends at the French Laundry.
In between those things he does backroom deals with the Red Chinese.
I am an Independent voter and I have been for many years. I have gathered signatures for the recall since last summer and I had GOP, Dems, Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, and oh yes white people sign petitions. You can always tell when the Left is up against the wall when their lies and name calling get louder just like little kids having a tantrum at the playground. Yes we are being called anti-vaxxers and Qanon and when they tire of that name calling they will go back to their favorite word: RACISTS! Recall Newsom and send his @$$ back to the French Laundry!
We all know if this was a “republican recall” it would not have gathered so many signatures. I need to stay calm, watch him squirm and pray that Californians of all parties stay true to the mission of making California better. Any educated, sensible person won’t fall for the lies yet to come out of his or Aunt Nancy’s mouth!
Let’s refer to Katy Grimes part 1 of Newsom’s nightmare in office, enough said!
Lets see how they blame Donald Trump for this one…
“The Committee, which received immediate support from Senators Cory Booker (B-NJ), Alex Padilla (D-CA), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Bernie Sanders (I-VT), as well as Congresswoman Katie Porter (D-CA) and former Georgia state Representative Stacey Abrams, aims to Keep Newsom in office as Governor through at least 2022.”
Just look at the list of unhinged Democrat lunatics who are signing up in support of this narcissistic megalomaniac…
Newsom thought he was going to fast-track his way to a Presidential run, but the WuFlu detailed his political ambitions, by actually requiring some leadership and intelligence…
Two strikes and his insane and draconian politics have effectively 86’d his political aspirations…
Now to replace him with someone capable of repairing the damage this moron has inflicted on California citizens…
In Dominion-land, this is going to require significant oversight by the CAGOP which has so far demonstrated itself to be incompetent as well…
I fear for California….
It is my understanding Governor Newsolini takes his fight to stay in office to the east coast tomorrow morning by making an appearance on The View! He will be in Cuomo Land, need we remind him, he shares in the deaths of many nursing home residents by sending Covid patients back into the nursing homes. Do you think one of those hosts will ask him if he and Cuomo were leading the way on adding to the death count? Newsom and Cuomo both had Naval hospital ships positioned on their coasts to use as overflow but instead they let them sit pretty much empty during the surge of hospitalizations.
Newsom maybe considered a hero to the likes of Cory Booker, Liz Warren and Bernie Sanders, but not to the many families who have lost loved ones due to his poor politically motivated decisions.
This affected all residents not just those big, bad, scary, racist, right wing , Qanon (?) supporters!!
The recall is a just response.
When this man dies I will put on a red dress and dance on his grave. Likewise for his cunt of an aunt.
To: His Highness Gavin Adolf Newsolini dictator of the Peoples Republic of California,
I must begin my letter to you (rant) with poor little Gavin! I feel sorry for you, not because of the recall (you brought that on yourself), but because you are a mindless idiot who craves power and negligently destroys lives. It appears you were probably bullied on the playground as a kid or maybe it’s as simple as mental illness runs in your family. Just ask auntie Pelosi who is another winner! So now your backed by Sanders, Booker, Warren and Abrams (the dream team of morons!) Well Guess What YOU did this to yourself by killing people in nursing homes, mismanaging taxpayers money, lying to the citizens of California and the list goes on and on. No Thanksgiving, Christmas or 4th of July right? But Adolf, I must say your newest tactic by use of name calling and saying that all those who signed the recall are white supremacists. That really hurts dude (NOT!). That’s the best you got?? This coming from a Neo-Nazi wanna be dictator such as yourself, it’s a joke! You’re a joke! Did you and you richie rich freinds dream this up at the French Laundry? So I guess all the blacks, hispanics, asians and gay people who support the recall are white supremacists too? I’m part American indian and my wife is jewish and we support the recall. Let’s hear what you have to say about that? Your gross mismanagement and the decisions you made which were based on science (which you never provided) are more reasons why you are being recalled. My restaurant was closed because of your stupid decision to lock down the state! The only thing you’ve proved to me is you are the leading @$$hole in the state! I’ll leave you with a thought, it’s a crazy comparison but did you ever notice that you resemble the character “the Joker” from the Batman movies and you’re just as evil and sinister. Go back to Hell where you came from!
Sincerely,
Your number one biggest hater
*BTW folks on a serious note, I got bumped off the Communist sites facebook and twitter because I spoke my mind, just another example of the wave of lefty cancel culture trying to take over! Good Luck
Yup, that about sums it up, doesn’t it? Does anyone really think there is ANYTHING Gavin could do or say at this point to defuse people’s anger, which he is completely responsible for creating? People don’t trust him, they don’t like him, he has ruined many people’s lives. He’s sadistic, he’s a bully, he’s condescending, and he’s a liar. He has a serious duty and a responsibility to the People of the State of California, but instead he has punished them and tortured them and used them for his own ends. It certainly looks as though the people in this state, who are just trying to live their lives, are completely FED UP with Gavin Newsom — and they have been for a long time.
