Xavier Becerra continues to obfuscate on his immigration roots and status… he has said many times that his parents are immigrants… or his dad is an immigrant… or his mom is an immigrant. Xavier Becerra was born and raised in Sacramento, California.
Ironically, Steve Hilton is the real immigrant in California’s governor’s race. Hilton was born to Hungarian immigrants who fled communism in Hungary, and moved to London, England, where Hilton was born. He moved to the United States in 2012 from England, and officially became a naturalized U.S. citizen in May 2021.
What will be the biggest difference between Xavier Becerra and Gavin Newsom if he’s elected governor?
Becerra immediately pointed out his fluency in Spanish.
He also signaled he won’t jam the California Legislature: https://t.co/Q9KYEorSnR

In an interview with KCRA, Becerra broke into Spanish when he was asked by Ashley Zavala what would be the biggest difference between he and Gov. Gavin Newsom if elected governor.
Becerra could only think of speaking Spanish? He must have been channeling Kamala Harris on The View, when he didn’t offer any policy differences – other than to add a mileage tax on drivers.
It appears that @XavierBecerra just had his @KamalaHarris moment on @TheView in his interview with @ZavalaA
When asked how he would be different from @GavinNewsom he could only think of speaking Spanish!
Like how Kamala BLANKED when they asked her how she’d be different from Biden. Easiest questions ever.

“That’s one of the biggest differences, actually, who I am and what I bring,” Becerra said, first in Spanish. Zavala answered back in Spanish and asked him to answer in English.
“If you want to know where a leader is going to take you, know where they’ve come from,” he said. “I don’t know if we’ve ever had a governor who comes from where I come from.”
“Sacramento?” Zavala asked.
“Well I come from… born and raised in Sacramento, but I mean in terms of my roots, my background, son of immigrants, working-class family, parents who never had a chance to step into a college classroom,” Becerra said, still attempting to obfuscate, and playing the victim.
Becerra was born in Sacramento, California. Becerra’s father was born in Sacramento, California. Xavier Becerra’s mother was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Becerra is as American as I am. I also spoke Spanish as a young child. Does that make my family immigrants?
Xavier Becerra dodges policy discussions, and is more focused on illegal immigrants and California’s Latino residents than the whole working class, which is suffering under Gov. Newsom’s and Democrat’s policies. Just once I’d like to hear Xavier Becerra talk to me about California’s painfully high income taxes, high utility bills, water rationing, failing public schools, crappy roads, highest-in-the-nation gas taxes, crime, hundreds of thousands of homeless, High-Speed train to nowhere – all issues Steve Hilton talks about every day.

And I will add, he will not spend his term angling for a shot at the White House, because he was not born in America! The White House target has been a curse in California! “Screw California! I can see the White House from here!”
