Chevron, X/Twitter, Space X, Oracle, Hewlett Packard, Charles Schwab, and Toyota Motor North America, are just a few of the mega-businesses leaving California because of the state’s leftist/Marxist politics and regulatory environment.

After 77 Years in California, In-N-Out moved its headquarters to Tennessee.

In October the Globe reported that GAF Energy, which sells solar panels embedded in roof shingles, would be leaving California for Georgetown, Texas.

Blue Diamond Growers announced it was closing its Sacramento manufacturing plant, resulting in approximately 600 job losses, is moving up its 2026 departure. They recently announced they will keep some Sacramento operations, but will still transfer manufacturing operations from the 53-acre Sacramento site to facilities in Turlock and Salida, California.

Leprino Foods, the world’s largest mozzarella cheese maker, closed its Central Valley dairy processing plant in Lemore, and moved to Lubbock, Texas. The company supplies cheese to Domino’s, Pizza Hut and Papa John’s. The closure will result in the loss of more than 300 jobs.

Texas reclaims the title of No. 1 U-Haul growth state for the seventh time in 10 years.

Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee follow Texas as prime destinations, U-Haul reports. “It’s the same top five from 2024 and 2023, although in a different order.”

“The top 10 also includes Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Alabama and Georgia.”

“While California’s exodus was greater than any other state, it saw a smaller net loss in 2025 than in 2024. Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Illinois also rank among the bottom five on the index” – notably all states with crushing taxes, insane regulations, and skyrocketing costs, and all blue states run by leftist governors.

Governor Gavin Newsom just offers spin while campaigning around the country as California hemorrhages billionaires, wealth and businesses. How many more businesses and billionaires have to flee California before Newsom and Democrats admit what everyone else knows?

California is bleeding out, and Florida, Texas and other business-friendly states are winning – and socialist experiments are collapsing.

  1. Time to take out the Democrat trash starting in June, and in November!!!
Stop the insanity!!! ESPECIALLY with Homeowner’s Insurance – this is a major economic driver and Ricardo Lara and the “environmentalists” are KILLING this industry as too many people are forced into the FAIR plan….
Vote Stacy Korsgaden for Insurance Commissioner!

  2. If only Californians could make the criminal Democrat thug mafia that controls California load up their crap into U-Hauls and leave the state forever?

  3. As an x-native Californian I am always reminded, when I read the globe each week, why I moved away from all my family, friends and at one time the state that I absolutely adored. It is truly tragic! California’s future is in God’s hands so we all need to get on your hands and knees as well as do some fasting. Maybe the upcoming elections will be miraculous 🙏
