Gen Z is Not as Lost as You Might Think

OPINION: Trump-backing teen says post-millennials have much at stake

By Jordan Brace, March 25, 2024 4:01 pm

With the 2024 presidential elections getting closer by the day, I want to take some time to speak out about why I think it’s important for my generation, Gen Z, to get involved in the political process. With an age range of 12-27, many of us can’t even vote yet, but we can get involved in many other ways. I know there are a lot of negative impressions about my generation so I’m here to set the record straight.

When I look at the current conditions of our country, once the strongest and most respected nation on earth, it pains me and so many of my friends to see how broken it’s become in many ways. I live in California so I have a front row seat to just how bad things have become.

While many aspects of our country are failing, I’m confident that it can be fixed and it’s up to my generation to help do that. I sadly see so many kids that aren’t aware of how critical it is to be the voices for our own futures. We as Gen Z are the future so if we don’t care, if we don’t get involved what kind of country can we expect to have?

Our forefathers fought and died for our freedoms, our independence, our constitutional rights and the Democrats are trying to take those rights away from us every single day. I believe conservative values are loving and believing in God, family and country, in preserving life, in living by the constitution, in strong morals, ethics and basic values.

I and many of my friends were raised to know lying is a sin, that you always do the right thing even when it’s not easy and those ideals, those values are what conservatives live by. I don’t understand how we can get so far away from family, God and country and care more about something like TikTok when our futures are at stake.

I was 7 years old when I got interested in politics. Yes, you read that correctly! At a very early age I saw how Obama was dividing our country and making everything about race. I hated that.

By the time I was 8 I knew I wanted to become President of the United States one day and I knew this race division had to end.

I always loved President Trump and the conservative America First values he stood for and still stands for today. Conservatives don’t see or judge based on race or religion, we care about what kind of person you are and your actions.

We care if you love our country, our Heroes and live with a belief in God rather than defying God as the Democrats do. I am a conservative because I love my family, God and country.

I believe in preserving life, there are only 2 genders, I honor my mom, all our Great Heroes and I appreciate all the sacrifices made to preserve the freedoms we are blessed to have in our Great Country.

I believe it’s an honor to vote and it’s up to all of us to be involved in shaping the future of our country.

The Democrats today aren’t Democrats, they are communists and we cannot give in to the socialist regime they want for our country. I believe in America First and protecting our great allies like Israel.

I am a proud Jewish American conservative, a proud President Trump supporter and I want to live in a country that I will hopefully represent one day as a Great President myself.

I want to live in a country where I will be proud to raise my kids someday. President Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” I do believe he would be a Republican today.

In closing, I want the audience to know that the Gen Z generation is not as lost as you might think. We see what’s happening and we aren’t having it! I am a 16, almost 17 year old Gen Z conservative because I want to help make our country a better, safer and stronger place for our generation and all future generations.

Fighting for the future of our country begins at home and it continues with love of country and the basic values and principles this great country was built on. Don’t give up on my generation just yet, together we will make America great again!

  1. Outstanding opine :). You have articulated the nation’s problems & an optimistic path forward more clearly than most political commentators that are much older than yourself. Know that there are many older-generation patriots that are in full agreement & support you in your future career as one of our nation’s young patriots. God bless you & yours :).

  2. What a wonderful young woman you are, Jordan! I look forward to voting for you as President of the United States! God bless you!
