CA 28th Candidate Eric Early Discusses Rep. Adam Schiff’s ‘National Deception’

California’s Adam Schiff, a.k.a. the U.S. House Intelligence Committee Chairman, has had a few busy years since the election of President Donald Trump. In addition to a strident disinformation campaign of Russian collusion against the President, Schiff abused the power of his position to spy on Republican colleagues in Congress.

Schiff’s days in Congress could be numbered by his opponent, Republican congressional candidate Eric Early, who says Rep. Adam Schiff has passed his prime and needs to be ousted.

In December, Eric Early told the California Globe, “The IG report painted Schiff as the total liar he is. He thinks he is morally superior to the rest of us. But the IG report shows he totally lied in his memo.”

“His Committee hearings were a total joke.”

Early has talked with California Globe several times, and each discussion is enlightening; Early does not tiptoe around the issues.

Most recently, Early shared his response to the release of previously classified documents that establish beyond a doubt that Adam Schiff deliberately and repeatedly lied to the American public.

“It’s very unfortunate what Schiff has done,” Early said. “He lied for years to all of us, and from Day One he knew it was a lie.”

Early has called for a full investigation into Schiff’s “national deception” now that the documents have been declassified.

“The declassified documents contain numerous, sworn statements from Obama Administration officials, investigators and lawyers that state unequivocally that there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russian interests,” Early said.

“As Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Schiff was in possession of these documents, knew of their contents, yet participated in hundreds of media interviews and sent out thousands of fundraising emails stating: ‘there is significant evidence of collusion between the [Trump] campaign and Russia.’”

Early said Republicans should be up in arms. “We knew Donald Trump was not involved with Russians. Now Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard “Ric” Grenell has forced Schiff’s hand – and he has more documents to release.”

Grenell personally delivered declassified documents to the Justice Department last week related to Obama administration officials’ unmasking of General Michael Flynn in transcripts of phone calls he had with Russia’s ambassador, the Daily Caller reported.

“Schiff’s actions go far beyond the typical, petty sniping between the left and the right in America today.  This was a national deception, perpetrated by a member of Congress and those that aided and abetted him, to deceive the American public for purely political gain,” Early said.  “What makes this so utterly disgraceful, is not just that Adam Schiff used his position to knowingly deceive the American people, but he did so out of purely political and personal interest – raising millions of dollars while doing tremendous damage to our great nation.”

Yet, as Early noted, “the mainstream media has said nothing about any of it: CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post are ignoring it.”

In a press release this week, Early’s campaign included the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board’s blistering editorial regarding the declassified documents:

Newly released Congressional testimony shows that Adam Schiff spread falsehoods shamelessly about Russia and Donald Trump for three years even as his own committee gathered contrary evidence.

The committee probe . . . concluded in March 2018 with a report finding no evidence that the Trump campaign conspired with the Kremlin. Most of the transcripts were ready for release long ago, but Mr. Schiff oddly refused to release them after he became chairman in 2019. He only released them last week when the White House threatened to do it first.

Now we know why. From the earliest days of the collusion narrative, Mr. Schiff insisted that he had evidence proving the plot. In March 2017 on MSNBC, Mr. Schiff teased that he couldn’t “go into particulars, but there is more than circumstantial evidence now.”

In December 2017 he told CNN that collusion was a fact: “The Russians offered help, the campaign accepted help. The Russians gave help and the President made full use of that help.” In April 2018, Mr. Schiff released his response to Mr. Nunes’s report, stating that its finding of no collusion “was unsupported by the facts and the investigative record.”

None of this was true, and Mr. Schiff knew it.

Mr. Schiff is a powerful figure with access to secrets that the rest of us don’t have and can’t check. He misled the country repeatedly on an issue that consumed American politics.

As for Mr. Schiff, no one should ever believe another word he says.

As for the campaign for California’s 28th congressional district, Early says Schiff has never faced an opponent such as Eric Early.

Early’s latest ad is proof. “Thank You Adam” has members of the public thanking Adam Schiff for helping to reelect President Donald Trump:

A Conservative Southern California attorney, Eric Early says it’s ironic that Schiff is chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which oversees the nation’s intelligence agencies, “despite being a liar and a leaker.”

“He’s been in elected office for 23 years and has nothing to show for it other than vanity clips on national television and tens of millions of wasted taxpayer dollars.”

“Most of his career no one ever heard of him,” Early said. “He should be in a back room with stacks of paper on his desk writing reports, away from people.”

“This should be a different kind of election,” Early added. “One of the things I say is that too many elected officials have left the constituents behind. Schiff abandoned his District long ago.”

“Common sense Americans know a fraud like Schiff when they see one.”

Eric Early‘s campaign will be filing a formal complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE).  The OCE is an independent, non-partisan entity charged with reviewing allegations of misconduct against Members, officers, and staff of the United States House of Representatives.
