Tuesday, Axios reported that a suspected Chinese spy developed extensive ties with local and national politicians, including Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), in what U.S. officials believe was a political intelligence operation run by China’s main civilian spy agency between 2011 and 2015.
The suspected foreign agent, Christine Fang, “targeted up-and-coming local politicians in the Bay Area and across the country who had the potential to make it big on the national stage” as part of a years-long operation run by China’s main civilian spy agency between 2011 and 2015, Axios reported Monday night.
Fang fundraised for Swalwell and even planted an intern in his office.
Swallwell spent the last four years accusing President Donald Trump of colluding with the Russians. Were his accusations a diversion, or was Swallwell just a “useful idiot” for the Democrat Party?
“When Fang met Swalwell, he was a little-known city councilman in Dublin, Calif., but he had grand political aspirations. Fang became his regular companion,” Tucker Carlson reported. “She was photographed with Swalwell at political events several times and became a financial bundler for his campaigns.”
“Rep. Eric Swalwell has long been disqualified from serving on the Intel Committee. For years he peddled Russian disinformation for political gain,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy posted on Facebook. “Now we find out he was involved in an effort by a reported spy to gather info for China. Swalwell is a national security liability.”
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe reported that Chinese spies have targeted U.S. lawmakers more than any other country, including Russia and Iran, in a Wall Street Journal op ed.

Among the most significant targets of Fang’s efforts was Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.).
- Fang took part in fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign, according to a Bay Area political operative and a current U.S. intelligence official. Swalwell’s office was directly aware of these activities on its behalf, the political operative said. That same political operative, who witnessed Fang fundraising on Swalwell’s behalf, found no evidence of illegal contributions.
- Federal Election Commission records don’t indicate Fang herself made donations, which are prohibited from foreign nationals.
- Fang helped place at least one intern in Swalwell’s office, according to those same two people, and interacted with Swalwell at multiple events over the course of several years.
Swalwell’s office replied: “Rep. Swalwell, long ago, provided information about this person — whom he met more than eight years ago, and whom he hasn’t seen in nearly six years — to the FBI. To protect information that might be classified, he will not participate in your story.”
Remember Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Chinese spy, employed in her office for nearly 20 years. He apparently was a driver for Feinstein, and directly assisted her in outreach to Asian-American voters.
As Ratcliffe said, “Beijing intends to dominate the U.S. and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically. Many of China’s major public initiatives and prominent companies offer only a layer of camouflage to the activities of the Chinese Communist Party.”

Same question could be asked of Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Money laundering China owned Gavin Newsom, Maxine Waters, and on and on. If they aren’t screwing America over with China it’s Iran which Jim Costa is in neck deep….There isn’t a democrat/communist that shouldn’t be arrested…….NOT ONE. The problem is AG Barr is stuffing his fat face instead of arresting communist….Perhaps he’s one himself?
