The Globe’s Gascon Interview
We felt it was still important to remind people of Gascon’s performance

We at the Globe try to be fair so we reached out to current Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon to set up an “end of the campaign” chat – you know, how does he think his run against Nathan Hochman has gone, does he think he will surprise people Tuesday, etc.
Here is the entirety of the interview:
Of course, the Gascon people not responding to the Globe about anything ever – really, literally – is not unexpected. It is standard operating procedure for politicians who do not like to answer difficult questions.
But we felt it was still important to remind people of Gascon’s performance, so let’s leave George behind, take a walk down memory lane, and let George’s actions speak for themselves.
Here are a pair of pieces about how George handles his professional deputy district attorneys – very very badly, actually. In fact, badly to the point it has and will continue to cost LA taxpayers a fortune in lost lawsuits well after Gascon leaves office:
Politically, the last few years have been a disaster for Gascon, all due to his placing ideology over public safety and service. Here are a few items on his woeful campaign:
The main job of a district attorney is to see that justice is done and that the community is protected. Well, that’s what it’s supposed to be. Here are some reminders about how and why Gascon has done the exact opposite:
Letting as many people out of jail as possible.
There is a saying in politics that if you can be a good elected official, at least be honest so people won’t hate you thaaaat much. Gascon’s string of absurdly woke corruption indicates he has never heard that:
Hiring social justice activists who are not lawyers.
Office ethics chief charged with felonies.
Continuing to pay said ethics chief.
Re-hiring retiree who happens to be a witness for your defense in a staff-initiated lawsuit.
Chief of staff slides, courtesy of Gascon’s once-strong relationship with the Attorney General.
How about helping crime victims? Nope:
Helping criminals for political reasons? Sure:
Lying about crime stats? At least he was consistent with it:
Gascon says X, state stats say Y.
And just mindbogglingly, aggressively stupid and gross? Here’s one example:
We all remember Hannah Tubbs, don’t we?
The election is Tuesday. Vote wisely.

Ha ha! This was funny but George Gascon as D.A. is definitely NOT funny. Except when we’re mocking him. Vote Nathan HOCHMAN for L.A. County District Attorney.
I wish I could honestly say that I wished I still lived in LA so that I could vote against Gascon. But, I can’t. However, I still have some friends living there (I rooted for the Dodgers too) and hope they are smart enough to fire this guy. When he loses, look for him to join the Berkeley faculty with his Marxist friends.
