Senator Harris Has Created a Site to Petition Against the Judge

California Democratic Senator Kamala Harris is continuing to launch attacks against the Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh as his confirmation vote looms.
The first term Senator has created her own website dedicated to gathering signatures in an apparent effort to oppose Judge Kavanaugh. While this may be an attempt to gain public publicity or collect names for fundraising, the overall goal for the site isn’t exactly clear. After all, the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh is left up to the Senate and the Senate alone.
The site contains phrases such as “Brett Kavanaugh represents a fundamental threat to the promise of justice and equality, which is why I am announcing that I will oppose his nomination to the Supreme Court” and “He is too extreme and will shift the balance of the court for a generation. Sign the petition below.”
We need just 198,248 more people to reach our new goal of 1.5 million Americans against Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court of the United States. Will you add your name right now?

The senator has tweeted out the site many times in a paid promotion from her office.
