Colombia Just Messed Around With Deportation and Found Out…

You mess with a bull, and you’ll likely get the horns

You mess with a bull, and you’ll likely get the horns.

That’s what’s happening to anyone who tries to oppose the ongoing plans that Donald Trump has for giving America back to its citizens, as he proceeds with ICE agents and his “border czar” Tom Homan to deport thousands of illegal immigrants.

ICE has already conducted raids across Los Angeles, and is ready to make progress across other cities and states as well. And he’s even managed to put many migrants onto planes, to ship them back to their home countries.

But, of course, some are taking objection. Like Colombia, for example. After Colombia saw 88 of its nationals arrive in their home country in handcuffs (following deportation from the United States), it opted to refuse a number of flights carrying illegal immigrants, believing they were going through “degrading treatment.”

And how did Trump respond? Beautifully, I think.

Within mere hours of this unnecessary refusal, Trump has announced retaliatory tariffs against the country, with an “emergency 25 percent” increase. On top of that, a travel ban is also in place for any Colombian citizens that want to visit the United States; and cargo shipments will see “stricter” inspections.

Of course, Colombian President Gustavo Petro believed he has done no wrong with refusing these flights, and has promised to enact tariffs of his own on U.S. goods.

He noted, “I will never allow Colombians to be brought in handcuffs on flights. Marco, if officials from the Foreign Ministry allowed this, it would never be under my direction.”

Is this really the way he should’ve proceeded upon this action? Really?

First off, how does this make you look as a leader? Imagine being someone that won’t even welcome back Colombian citizens just because of the condition that they’re being presented to you.

They entered our country illegally. What, did you expect them to be flown back on a deluxe flight with dinner served? These were people that, again, had no legal basis to be within our borders. Trump was simply sending them back to their country – unscathed, but obviously bound to avoid any sort of escape – and Petro refused them on the grounds of “mistreatment.”

Secondly, let’s look at the weight of the tariffs themselves. Petro threatened to raise his own tariffs against the United States and its exports, but what good will that do for his people? Compared to Trump striking back at his Colombian empire because, again, of how he’s treating people who came from there.

It just doesn’t make any sense. And apparently, I believe Petro realizes that.

Mere hours after noting that visiting the U.S. was “boring” and trying to attack Trump’s character, Petro apparently backed down from his threat. It was revealed that the Colombian government backtracked on its previous statement, and Petro was, in fact, ready to welcome these people back.

“The Colombian Government, under the leadership of President Gustavo Petro, has arranged for the presidential plane to facilitate the dignified return of the compatriots who were to arrive in the country this morning from deportation flights.”

He can talk about the condition of his returning “compatriots” all he likes, but the fact is Petro was wrong. He shouldn’t have denied anything to begin with, and, indeed, he messed around and found out.

Trump is in a position where he’s done messing around. He’s launched raids for the removal of thousands of illegal immigrants across the country, working alongside his Border Czar Tom Homan and ICE agents to assure their safe, but necessary, removal. And that’s on top of other documents he’s signed to undo the damage created by Joe Biden.

“Today’s events make clear to the world that America is respected again,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement following Colombia’s reversal. “President Trump will continue to fiercely protect our nation’s sovereignty, and he expects all other nations of the world to fully cooperate in accepting the deportation of their citizens illegally present in the United States.”

Outstanding. Trump is serious about taking this country back and giving it back to the people, and getting in his way is like walking right into the path of a charging bull.

Petro just found out what that was like, and others who question Trump’s “heartless” (their words, not mine) actions against illegal migrants may do the same.

This country is for our people. Let’s not forget that.

  1. They might want to look into all those “mexican” restaurants that have been popping up everywhere since Biden became president concerning the cartels laundering money. It takes lots of money to open a restaurant that the average mexican “asylum seeker” would never have access to while restaurants established before Biden are having a rough financial go of it due to Biden’s economy. Years ago I knew of a restaurant that was cash only, no checks or credit cards. The ownership changed every few months, but the staff, the menu, the prices, the restaurant furnishings and decor all remained the same. Only the restaurant name and signage were changed. There was something going on there…
