Gov. Newsom Claims Trump ‘Rigging’ the Game, When it’s Newsom Trying to Rig Elections
Newsom trying to cheat the few remaining Republicans out of California congressional districts is actual ‘dismantling Democracy’

California Governor Gavin Newsom claimed in a NBC interview Thursday that President Trump is pushing for mid-decade redistricting efforts in Republican states across the country, accusing the president of “rigging” next year’s congressional election and warning that Trump “is not screwing around.”
“He’s changing the rules. He’s rigging the game because he knows he’ll lose if all things are equal,” Newsom told NBC’s Kristen Welker. “He did not expect California to fight fire with fire.”
Newsom may as well state, “in order to save Democracy we must dismantle it,” except this has always led to despotism and authoritarianism. And California is already precariously close to that cliff.
Newsom trying to “redistrict” (read: cheat) the few remaining Republicans out of California congressional districts is actual “dismantling Democracy.”
The alternate universe Gavin Newsom lives in is about power and control, not governing, representation and “We the People.” Newsom’s indefatigable assertions that he never doubted Biden had the mental acuity and fortitude to serve another term, prove this. Power and control drive the left.
In August, attempting to influence the midterm elections, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta announced their intentions to blow up California’s independent redistricting commission, effectively tampering with the state’s electoral maps mid-decade… because TRUMP.
The state is heavily in debt, wildfires are burning, Pacific Palisades is not getting rebuilt after the devastating January fires, crime is still high, gas prices are high, poverty is the highest in the nation, homeless drug addicts still live on the streets.
In short, California is a hot mess, and the governor is trying to unseat even more Republicans in Congress while running for President.
As then-Assembly Minority Leader James Gallagher (R-Gerber) said when the newly drawn electoral maps were leaked, “These are rigged maps drawn in secret to give Democrat politicians more power by dismantling the independent commission Californians created to keep them out of map-drawing.”
But the truth is far from Newsom and Bonta’s claims, as the Globe has reported:
Gov. Newsom is conflating his desires to win the midterm elections with actual federal law and Texas’ working to bring its districts in line with federal law and court decisions.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott added redistricting to the 2025 state agenda, because the U.S. Department of Justice raised legal concerns over the constitutionality of four districts in the state over where district lines were redrawn in 2021 following the heavily manipulated 2020 Census.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon sent a letter to Gov. Abbott and AG Paxton, identifying four Texas congressional districts as “unconstitutional racially based” gerrymanders. These so-called coalition districts (combining minority groups like Blacks and Hispanics) were found not protected under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act based on the 2024 5th Circuit ruling in Petteway v. Galveston County, Hans Von Spakovsky explains.
“When Texas drew its coalition districts in 2021, it impermissibly used race and ethnicity as the predominant factor in drawing the boundary lines. That makes those four districts unconstitutional because they violate the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment, the ‘one person, one vote’ standard—meaning they must be redrawn.”
Newsom and Democrats saw the opportunity to create chaos and uncertainty.
Peter Schweizer addressed the redistricting chaos, and how race-based districts rig elections, in his Drill-Down podcast and at Breitbart.
As Schweizer asks, “What if an election can be rigged before the first ballot is even cast?”
Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson recently likened the drawing of “minority-majority” congressional districts to requiring accessibility for disabled people, arguing the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) didn’t assume there was ongoing discrimination against people with disabilities, only that buildings had to fix it wherever possible. Likewise, she said, congressional districts that are drawn specifically to maximize minority group voting power need not show that those groups are currently discriminated against. Pressing the metaphor, she went as far as calling Black voters “disabled.”
Schweizer summed up the counterargument to minority-majority districts as: “We shouldn’t create an injustice now because of an injustice in the past.”
As of the 119th Congress, there are 148 majority-minority districts in the U.S. House of Representatives, which represent approximately 34 percent of the total 435 districts. Not all of these districts are the result of specific drawing to increase minority group voting power, it must be noted. Yet, overall, Democrats represent 122 of these districts, while Republicans represent only 26.
The NBC interview continued:
And Trump’s actions are becoming more extreme as his term goes on, Newsom said.
“What the hell do we need to tell people to get them off their couch, to say, ‘Well, hold on, I may have liked his bluster, I may not have liked the last guy, but I didn’t sign up for this?’” Newsom said.
The governor also criticized the Supreme Court and Congress for caving to Trump, telling Welker, “I talked about this supine Congress. We’ve lost the coequal branch of government. Speaker [Mike] Johnson has no interest in oversight. He doesn’t believe in any foundational recognition or oversight, as the Founding Fathers advanced it.”
Newsom’s kafkaesque gaslighting in every interview rarely illicit’s pushback, and this interview wasn’t any different – especially when Welker asked him about why he wants to run for president. “I don’t,” Newsom said, a 180-degree distance from last week when Newsom clearly indicated a potential presidential campaign was in the works for 2028.
“I’m focused on Prop 50. I’m focusing on fair and free elections.”
Newsom speaks with forked tongue.
Democrats have lost 2.1 million registered voters and are facing the deepest popularity crisis in decades.
Yet Newsom told Welker:
“I mean, this is a historically unpopular president. His policies are even more unpopular than the president himself. In every core category, he’s underwater. And he’s a guy that promised to make us wealthier and healthier. We’re poorer and sicker, across the board. People are starting to realize that not only is their coffee more expensive, their beef is more expensive, but the cost of an automobile is more expensive, since he became president, the cost of utilities. All the things he promised to solve, day one, he hasn’t solved. So his recklessness aside, his style aside, the substance, he hasn’t delivered. And that’s why, again, we’re here, Prop 50, because he knows he’s going to lose the midterms and he’s trying to rig the election before one vote is cast.”
More distortion, danger, and dehumanization by bureaucracy, courtesy of Gavin Newsom – the very definition of kafkaesque.
Newsom’s claim to love “fair and free elections” is just more kafkaesque gaslighting.
Never forget that in 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom was the first governor in the nation to order the state fully locked down for the Covid flu, and extended out mask mandates, mandatory vaccines, and school and business lockdowns 3 years, beyond all other states. He used the crisis to order all-mail-in-ballot elections. Gov. Newsom was caught living his best life, dining at the French Laundry in Napa, enjoying multiple vacations out of the country while he locked down healthy Californians.
“Fair and free elections” are just useful words to the diabolical governor. But he did offer a warning to the rest of the country: “I’m here in California. Future happens here first. We’re America’s coming attraction.” Gird your loins.

Converging on our increased expenses the WSJ reported what their writer expressed as ominous is the average price a a new vehicle is now $50K.
The US government and the Trump administration in conjunction with the Federal reserve Bank are stealing you blind. The value of the dollar has decreased 58% with reference to gold since Donald Trump took office the second time.
Donald Trump should be protecting the assets of the American people not depleting them which is exactly what he is doing. I reluctantly voted for Trump thinking that he would in fact curb the deficit; what he’s doing via the recently Republican approved budget is just the opposite. It’s unbelievable what this guy gets away with: He’s just another one of the deep State operatives furthering and hastening the destruction of this country. As goes the US dollar, so goes the country: The conspiracy to destroy America mimics the collapse of the Weimer Republic (Germany).
Secondly, Trump thru Condi could have secured the arrest and indictment of Newsom for sedition. Newsom would be under Federal indictment and his governmental powers curtailed: The elements of the crime were before Condi and Trump in abundance. They looked away.
Subsequent to the passage of prop 50 California and America change forever. what is your plan B? I anxiously await to learn about it.

The question is why California keeps voting for Newsom and his type. Through the Federal Government shutdown, we are getting a clearer picture how California elections are “rigged”.
1. It has been reported that 59% of SNAP recipients are illegal aliens.
2. California failed to give the DOJ a complete voter roster and is being sued by the DOJ for one
3. California has issued countless thousands of Commercial Drivers Licenses to illegal aliens that cannot read or speak English.
Lastly it has been reported that California has the largest concentration of illegal aliens in America. Once California is refocused on all Americans and not just democratic voters it will become the golden state again. Currently California is nothing more than Venezuela of the north with corrupt elections that guarantee the desired outcome while our society is falling apart.

I was driving through my communist enclave community last week and saw a hand painted yard sign that said “Vote Yes On 50. Save election integrity.” It was a sad reminder that the sky is the limit for gullibility in this state.
The one screaming lib in my corner of the 805 has a California-flag themed “Yes on 50” yard sign with much of the same messaging…except it might say something like “Save “Our Democracy(TM)” as the sub-head tagline….
There are a few vote yes on Prop. 50 signs in the yards here in East Sacramento in the Tahoe Park area where a lot of state workers and Antifa types live. There’s a house on the corner of 21st Street that has a white sheet hanging between two trees that is painted in bold red letters with “Vote Yes on Prop. 50 to protect democracy in ALL 50 states.” It’s hilariously stupid.
Idiots like that are funny and mockable, for sure. We often rely on them for laughs in a dry stretch.
