Mask Off: Ro Khanna Goes Full Commie
Democratic Socialists are simply Democrats in sheep’s clothing
By Megan Barth, June 24, 2026 10:57 am
In a move that should surprise exactly no one paying attention, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Silicon Valley) took to X to celebrate the primary victory of Darializa Avila Chevalier, a Democratic Socialists of America-backed candidate in New York’s 13th District. Khanna praised her “stunning upset” while railing against “staggering income inequality” and what the far-left calls the “genocide in Gaza.”
Yikes indeed, as Richard Grenell aptly noted in response.

This isn’t moderation or pragmatic outreach. It’s the mask slipping completely.
Khanna has long styled himself as a “progressive capitalist”—co-chairing Bernie Sanders’ campaigns, championing Medicare for All, debt-free college, wealth taxes, and various redistribution schemes while occasionally nodding toward innovation in his Silicon Valley district. Yet openly cheering a DSA victory exposes the reality: Democratic socialists aren’t infiltrating the Democrat Party. They define its activist core and policy direction today.
The Death of the Blue Dogs
The Blue Dogs—those mythical moderates who once waved the flag for working families, balanced budgets, strong borders, and sensible foreign policy—are political fossils. The Democrat Party has purged or sidelined them, replacing JFK with AOC’s identity-driven redistribution schemes, government dependence, elimination of sovereign borders, censorship, and reflexive anti-Western foreign policy.
California proves the leftward lurch in real time.
The legislature, congressional delegation, and city council members have normalized and adopted DSA priorities: aggressive rent controls that distort housing markets, efforts to seize or heavily regulate private property, cuts to law enforcement funding, political violence, sky-high taxes on producers (makers) to award the takers, and foreign policy posturing that often excuses terror groups while condemning allies like Israel.
Khanna’s own district—ground zero for American tech innovation—now swims in the same radical current.
Past California Globe reporting has tracked DSA organizing in Los Angeles and statewide: explicit pushes for “seizing homes,” defunding police, and turning cities into filthy petri dishes for failed Marxist-inspired experiments.
This isn’t hyperbole. Simply read their 40-page, 9,000-word manifesto that lays out an aggressive, six-to-eight-year plan to seize control of the nation’s second-largest city and impose full-blown socialism. This radical document, published in 2025, doesn’t mince words: Los Angeles is “on the burning edge of the economic, climate, and moral crises,” and the only options are “socialism or barbarism” (see below).
As history shows, socialists thrive by fanning (and funding) fear and chaos so they can exploit it for power.
California Democrats don’t resist this machinery—they plug into it.
The Democrats’ Socialist Machine
Ro Khanna’s praise fits the pattern. Celebrating a DSA candidate who ran on abolishing ICE, “housing for all,” and anti-Israel framing isn’t outlier behavior. It’s mainstream for today’s Democrats. The party apparatus funds, platforms, and protects these voices while marginalizing anyone who deviates toward fiscal sanity or strong national defense.
Republicans maintain a genuine big tent that welcomes libertarians, populists, moderates, and conservatives who believe in limited government and individual liberty. Democrats, by contrast, have transformed their “big tent” into a socialist circus that proudly accommodates DSA radicals pushing wealth seizure and redistribution, open borders, and anti-American rhetoric. Thanks for the candid admission, Senator Cory Booker.
New Jersey Democrat Cory Booker says he is ok with socialism in the Democrat party:

The mask is gone: today’s Democrat Party doesn’t merely tolerate democratic socialists. It elevates them.
Chevalier’s Open Contempt for America
The rot runs deeper than policy.
Avila Chevalier, the DSA darling who Mayor Zohran “Commie” Mamdani endorsed and Khanna applauded, has a documented history of visceral disdain for the United States. In a now-deleted 2019 tweet, she bragged: “I forgot to get napkins so I just wiped my hand on the American flag behind me,” complete with a smiling emoji.
This wasn’t a slip—it was casual contempt, treating the symbol of American sacrifice and liberty as a mere rag for dirty hands. Opponents highlighted the post in attack ads featuring veterans, underscoring her unwillingness to stand by the flag or those who defend it.
Such gestures reveal the outward hatred many in the DSA/DNC orbit hold for America’s founding symbols and principles. This is the candidate Khanna elevates as a “stunning upset.” It speaks volumes about the values—or lack thereof—now celebrated in Democrat primaries.
The Democrat Party isn’t “evolving” or responding to voters in good faith. Its modern DNA traces to collectivist impulses: heavy government control over economy and speech, class warfare rhetoric, a willingness to subordinate individual liberty and property rights to central planning, and a need to abolish or expand constitutional norms.
Call it socialism, democratic socialism, or progressivism—the labels blur because the outcomes converge: dependency, censorship, declining services, increasing crime, malignant fraud, businesses and families fleeing, and cities grappling with visible disorder and civil unrest.
Khanna’s alignment reveals the fraud of the “moderate Democrat” brand.
There is no meaningful daylight between the party’s establishment and its socialist wing on core issues. Both push expansive welfare states funded by punishing the productive, erode law and order under “equity” pretexts, and embrace identity politics that divide rather than unite. How many more letters can be added to LGBTQIA? How many more pronouns will be invented to stoke resentment under the guise of tolerance? Time will tell, but California already knows the answer.
Voters in the Golden State have watched this transformation deliver results: unaffordable housing and increased homelessness despite massive spending, failing schools, rising crime in major cities, and an exodus of middle-class families and businesses. Khanna’s embrace of DSA victories—complete with candidates who treat Old Glory like a napkin—signals that the party’s leftward lurch isn’t a phase—it’s the destination.
When Democratic socialists win primaries and sitting progressive Democrats like Ro Khanna cheer them on, the party isn’t being infiltrated. It is showing its true colors.

SICKENING. DISGUSTING. FAKES and LIARS.
But we knew that already, didn’t we.
Or at least some of us did, anyway. Most of us? I think so.
At least they are not bothering to hide their vile, subhuman, flush-America beliefs anymore.
It’s not much to work with but it’s SOMETHING.
Oh boy, Tech feels guilt over their success. Remember “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that” Democrats have become self-loathing fools.
A little wisdom: “Republicans believe every day is the Fourth of July, but the Democrats believe every day is April 15.”
