Democrats’ Policies Have Put Innocent Americans at Risk and Gotten Others Murdered
California is an unsafe hellhole and more innocent citizens are going to die

It has become increasingly clear that in Democrat-run sanctuary cities, American lives no longer matter to the politicians upholding these twisted sanctuary policies. Democrat policies on crime are deadly.
Go to a park for a run and you’re dead like Laken Riley, or out for a walk like Sheridan Gorman, who was just shot and killed in Chicago while walking with friends near the Loyola University campus.
A homeless drug addict with a long rap sheet was accused of beating a woman to death in San Francisco last November, months after a judge sent him into a diversion program for another violent crime.
Illegal aliens killed Riley and Gorman. Yet, illegal aliens are on the loose in many blue cities. Couple that with California’s 337,000 homeless drug addicts who live in public parks–many of who are convicted felons recently released–courtesy of Gov. Gavin Newsom.
“A four-time deported illegal immigrant from Honduras with 15 prior criminal charges allegedly shoved two victims onto the tracks at a New York City subway station this week, including an 83-year-old Air Force veteran,” Fox reported earlier this month. The elderly veteran died from his injuries.
On my daily walk in a very large regional park in Sacramento, there are RVs and cars housing homeless who are illegally camping in the park. City officials are allowing these people to live in their cars in a city park where children are playing daily.
A really sketchy crazy guy, who lives in a RV in the park by Fairytale Town, frequently screams at people parking near him– people who are bringing their children and grandchildren to the Sacramento Zoo and amusement park. There’s an old-school bus a homeless woman lives in and various wrecked mini vans that serve as homes for Sacramento’s growing homeless drug-addicted population.
There are homeless drug addicts sleeping on park benches and in tents in the park. Some camp near public restrooms. Some have destroyed the public restrooms.

Yesterday I witnessed a homeless drug addict shooting up in the park near the golf course. Who knows what his condition was after that. It is terrifying to be around this. I’m always looking for an escape route.

And a homeless man and woman hanging out at a park landmark were tweaking: the odd actions and behaviors that can take place after meth use are known as tweaking. It was really obvious. That was along a busy thoroughfare.
When I talk to park users and neighbors, many are afraid that any of these homeless drug addicts, or homeless illegal aliens, could snap or flip out. There is no escaping these homeless drug addicts and criminal illegal aliens as they are throughout the neighborhood – and totally unpredictable.
On Wednesday, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents conducted an operation in Sacramento’s Natomas neighborhood, “involving a traffic stop and a visit with a residential area, which has raised concerns among local residents,” KCRA reported. And some busy-body neighbor demonstrating her virtue, took video of the ICE encounter, claiming, “The way they just jumped out of their car and rushed the vehicle that they pulled over seemed odd,” she said.
“She stopped to record the incident after noticing unidentified and masked agents, some with ICE written on their uniforms,” so it was pretty clear why they were there.
“Ms. Buttinsky” should have offered the agents milk and cookies.
“They were very, very aggressive and there were kids around,” she said.
They were doing their job.
She’s like so many people in my neighborhood. She “questioned an agent about his covered face, to which he responded, ‘What’s it to you?’ She replied, ‘It’s because you have a gun and you’re outside my house. You’re in my neighborhood. Your face isn’t supposed to be covered,’ and was told to mind her own business and go inside.”
Perfect response.
She’s the only one who doesn’t know that she’s part of the problem.
One year ago, I interviewed Amador County Sheriff Gary Redman, who was the first sheriff in California to publicly state that he would cooperate with ICE when dealing with criminal illegal aliens.
“I’m the first Sheriff to come out strong on a common sense public safety approach,” Sheriff Redman told the Globe. He said his policy isn’t an anti-immigration stance but rather designed as a public safety measure, to protect members of the community from violent offenders.
Imagine that – Sheriff Redman prioritized the safety of residents.
Redman told the Globe that because of Senate Bill 54, law enforcement’s hands are tied on how they address illegal aliens who commit crimes, but there are legal ways to make sure that the public is protected.
California is home to the largest illegal-alien population in the country, initially with 35 sanctuary cities, morphing into complete state sanctuary, courtesy of California’s Democrat lawmakers.
Just this week, El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells asked the California DOJ a simple question: “If a child in our city is being sex-trafficked by an illegal alien, can we at least do a welfare check on that child?” The answer he received from the AG was “No.”
The California Attorney General Rob Bonta told the Mayor that he and his law enforcement officers could not do a legally required welfare check on a child believed to be sex trafficked by an illegal alien.
Who is the Attorney General Bonta protecting? Certainly not children. So he must be protecting criminal illegal aliens, putting all Californians at risk.
At the heart of California’s non-existent illegal immigration enforcement is Senate Bill 54, which now prohibits local police departments and sheriffs’ deputies from assisting ICE officers and enforcing federal immigration laws. But that law conflicts with federal law and federal immigration rules.
California is a “sanctuary state” thanks to Assembly and Senate Democrats and former Gov. Jerry Brown who signed Senate Bill 54 by then-Senate President pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles) in 2017.
California’s SB 54 law shielding illegal immigrants violates federal immigration law but does not prohibit enforcing state criminal laws, including those against human trafficking, child sexual exploitation, child abuse, or endangerment–specifically stated in the law.
California Democrat politicians are prioritizing criminals, illegal aliens, and homeless drug addicts over the state’s legal citizens and residents.
This is the price Democrats are willing to have all of us pay, because they are counting on illegal aliens and homeless drug addicts to be future Democrat voters.
Remember, an election is coming up… vote accordingly.

Democratic Senator Chris Murphy stated in 2024 that “undocumented Americans” are “the people we care about most,” during an MSNBC interview with Chris Hayes, which resurfaced in March 2026.
Democrats look at illegal aliens as potential Democrat voters. All they need is an amnesty bill. In the meantime, they are doing everything they can to keep them from getting deported. If that means Americans are injured or killed, so be it. The Democrat’s goal is political power, not safety, or anything that benefits American citizens.
Katy Grimes summed it up perfectly: California Democrat politicians prioritize criminals, thugs, illegal aliens, and homeless drug addicts over the state’s legal citizens and residents. Not only are these undesirables an important voting constituency for Democrats, they’re also exploited and used by Democrats to misappropriate taxpayer funding under the guise of supposedly helping them. Taxpayer funding is laundered and disappeared into Democrat connected non-profits and NGOs to benefit Democrat politicians.
This is tough stuff from Katy Grimes, and it is always so sad and frustrating to take in and reflect again on what our sociopathic, power-hungry Democrat politicians have unnecessarily put us through over these many years. But tough stuff is definitely necessary to hammer home how much we need a drastic change from the Dem politician hellhole-creating policies that are devastating our lives and our state.
Katy Grimes gives as an example her local park and neighborhood and the meth-heads that can pop off at any moment, a place so besieged that the park really cannot be used as intended, and park visitors always face the possibility of an encounter that could quickly go horribly wrong, like a nightmarish video game obstacle course of drug addicts and crazies. Meanwhile it actually only takes ONE meth-addled off-the-wall tweaking, screaming vagrant to make a park or a neighborhood or a city center off-limits for most. Like spitting in the soup, it ruins the soup. One picnic table full of druggies spotted in a large park makes the entire park unusable for its purpose. You’ve seen it. Nothing else is going on but that; the park is otherwise empty and certainly lacking anything even slightly resembling the wholesome activity we once-upon-a-time took for granted.
Obviously we need new leadership and new policies, and fast, to begin to bring back sanity to all of California. This year we have an opportunity to make that happen.
“ Ms. Buttinsky” – “They were very, very aggressive and there were kids around,”. What the hell? What does this woman expect? Does she expect the ICE agents to approach these criminals with their hats in their hands? There is definitely some wiring issues in the brain with these people. From their leaders to the common TDS afflicted Dem. On the street. Jeez.
Oh yes, the troubled virtue-signaling Useful Idiot women. Brain-wiring issues for sure.
And have you noticed they all read from the same script like robots? Embarrassing.
They seem to have NO CLUE they are being used.
It would be sad if it weren’t so disruptive and annoying
