An illegal alien allegedly driving under the influence is facing six counts of murder after he crashed into a tree, killing six farm workers and severely injuring another in Napa County, California. According to United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Norberto Celerino had been deported several times since he illegally entered the U.S. in 1995.

The Napa County District attorney’s office revealed this would be Celerino’s fourth DUI charge and confirmed his lengthy rap sheet:  “Celerino had DUI convictions in San Joaquin County in 2020 and 2024. He also has a third DUI conviction, though details were not released because the case is more than 10 years old. Officials said he did not have a valid driver’s license at the time of the crash,” KTVU reports.

Celerino was allegedly carrying three different licenses during the September 7 deadly crash in unincorporated Pope Valley.

As reported Fox News:

Celerino is also known to have numerous aliases and “goes by the names Norberto (Beto) Celerino Villalva, Grabien Martinez, and Roberto Savaringo-Diabla–

Beto Cerillo-Bialva … is a criminal alien from Mexico who first entered the United States in 1995. Since his first illegal entry, he has been arrested several times for possession of cocaine, multiple DUIs, and removed multiple times from the United States,” the [ICE] spokesperson said.

Pedro Lopez Gomez, 57, Fernando Silverio, 34, Demetrio Celerino Francisco, 39, Beymar Reynosa Rodriguez, 32, Aaron Ruiz, 39, and Loreto Ricardo Hernandez, 42, were killed in the crash.

“Since his first illegal entry, he has been arrested several times for possession of cocaine, multiple DUIs, and removed multiple times from the United States,” ICE said in part, in a statement. “Cerillo repeatedly entered our country unlawfully after being removed, in violation of our laws. Unfortunately, due to Cerillo continued disregard for the laws within the United States and California’s sanctuary laws has led to this tragic incident. Sanctuary laws continue to place the American public in danger and only protect the criminal aliens.”

Celerino has now been charged with six counts of murder and six counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, as well as driving under the influence.

Governor Gavin Newsom’s office rejected ICE’s claims that sanctuary laws led to the accident and accused the Trump administration of false and politically motivated attacks.

“It’s clear that this is an attempt to distract from the truth,” says Diana Crofts-Pelayo, deputy director of communications for Governor Newsom, said in a statement. “This individual re-entered the country several times under the federal government’s watch. Trump and Miller have little interest in public safety or protecting farmworkers.”

  1. This is awful, awful, and the deaths of these farm workers shouldn’t have happened. Those deaths WOULDN’T have happened if California’s delusional governor and other political “leadership” weren’t so intent on looking the other way in service to their ‘god’ of more and more power for their all-but-defunct political party. Allowing such horrors and knowingly endangering CA’s legal citizens while invoking the word “sanctuary,” which he and his ilk hide behind as though what they are doing is something good and pure and holy, only compounds their crime. But Californians are unfortunately very familiar with Gavin Newsom and his separation from reality, his contempt for California residents, his lies and trickery, his arrogance and narcissism, his refusal to carry out the will of the people, or to actually bother to do his job at all, and thus they aren’t one bit surprised that he would deny CA sanctuary laws as the cause of this hideous crash. And that he would find a way, of course, to blame Trump and his administration for “politically-motivated attacks,” an accusation that is richly ironic coming from the likes of Newsom.

  2. It’s pathetic that Diana Crofts-Pelayo, Hair-gel Hitler Newsom’s Deputy Director of Communications, is obnoxiously trying to deflect responsibility for this criminal illegal alien who killed six farm workers while driving under the influence and without a license which was his fourth DUI in California.

Not surprisingly, Diana Crofts-Pelayo is another pampered and over-paid state worker who makes over $200K according to Transparent California. She’s a burden on taxpayers and she would probably starve if taxpayers weren’t supporting her?

Diana Crofts-Pelayo and her boss Hair-gel Hitler Newsom do not care about public safety or protecting farmworkers and they have ZERO interest in protecting legal Californians from the criminal illegal alien hordes who’ve been given sanctuary in California by Democrats.

How would Diana Crofts-Pelayo like it if an illegal alien driving under the influence had struck and killed a member of her family? No doubt that a dimwit Democrat like her would falsely try to blame the Trump administration?
