Leaked Police Chiefs Memo: Gov. Newsom to Order All CA Beaches Closed
This unconstitutional order is not about flattening the curve any more

‘Governor Newsom, it’s not your beach, and we are not your serfs! Time to take this state back through massive civil disobedience of unconstitutionally overbroad orders!’
In a leaked memo late Wednesday Californians found out Gov. Gavin Newsom plans to order all beaches and state parks closed starting Friday May 1st, after scolding beachgoers who flocked to Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Doheny State Beach and San Clemente beaches amid a summer-like heatwave last weekend.
The governor threatened at his daily briefing Monday he would beef up enforcement of Coronavirus lockdown restrictions. According to a memo sent Wednesday evening to police chiefs around the state, Gov. Gavin Newsom will order all beaches and state parks closed Friday, the Orange County register reported.
This order comes despite that Lifeguards at Southern California beaches reported that social distancing was observed.
The governor’s unconstitutional order makes it clear this isn’t about flattening the curve any more.
San Diego sources are reporting that San Diego County is sending county officials door-to-door to check that people are in their homes.
Attorney Mark Meuser responded to the governor’s latest decree: “Newsom believes it is unsafe for you to go to the beach but perfectly safe for a stranger to come to your door and ballot Harvest.”
Reactions on social media show that California residents are appalled buy the governor’s authoritarian order:
Former California Congressman Doug Ose:
How is it that #California elected leaders can suspend the #BillofRights but can’t suspend a biological opinion that requires reduced #water releases from #ShastaDam? More #water releases = more #agriculture #jobs = more #food for citizens. Leadership matters. Time for a change.

California Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez:
This is not going to end well.
Californians are not children you can ground when they don’t “behave” the way you want.

California Assemblyman Kevin Kiley:
I was among the first to support @GavinNewsom's strong response to the pandemic. Now, he should follow his own advice and be guided by data & reason. It's time that command-and-control orders give way to a distributed, coordinated, balanced strategy.

California Attorney Harmeet Dhillon:
Californians are not stupid. See you all at the beach! https://t.co/WuDG8fFZFA

This order is unconstitutional — Governor Newsom, it’s not your beach, and we are not your serfs! Time to take this state back through massive civil disobedience of unconstitutionally overbroad orders! No more! Memo says California governor will order all beaches closed https://t.co/sIe1UTxTK8

#GavinNewsom, now you’re planning to shut down all #beaches? Is this about safety or control? We want to hear from you. Report from Fox 11 Los Angeles #BillMelugin. @KFIAM640 pic.twitter.com/MM5b4tZ6BW

Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren:
Hey @GavinNewsom I think you overplayed your hand. You got away with a lot but now you’re pushing even the Libs too far with your infringements. I know you fancy yourself a God-like leader but you forgot this is still a free country. People are waking up!

Tony Krvaric, Chairman of the Republican Party of San Diego County, “issued a statement in response to Governor Newsom’s seemingly indefinite statewide lockdown and petulant closure of our treasured beaches:”
“The lockdown is having disastrous effects on the mental and financial health of millions of Californians, including increased suicides, domestic abuse, and substance abuse. We seek a balanced approach recognizing our Fifth Amendment right to life, liberty, and property.”
“Californians have substantially complied with unprecedented restrictions in order to ‘bend the curve’. With that objective achieved it’s time for Californians to get back to work, following common sense protocols. We demand Governor Newsom end the lockdown immediately.”
Sen. John Moorlach (R-Costa Mesa) also responsed to Governor Newsom’s order to close Orange County beaches:
“Governor Newsom just doesn’t seem to get it.
“Orange County residents have been responsible. They’ve followed healthcare officials’ prudent recommendations and respected the science. The County hasn’t seen the ‘surge’ in its hospitals, and six weeks into this shelter-in-place order, the beach may be the best medicine.
“We need to trust people. If our citizens exercise proper social distancing, then we should allow access to the beaches. If you’re part of a vulnerable group, shame on you for going to the beach.
“Indeed, we allow shoppers to go to the grocery store with proper social distancing. Why not the beaches?
“Let’s continue to allow the science and facts be our guide. With proper social distancing, the beaches can offer an important relief from the stresses of this pandemic. Let people have access to these facilities.”
This unconstitutional order is not about flattening the curve any more. The protests this weekend will be telling.

VOTE ALL DEMOCRATES OUT !!# TJEY THINK WE ARE ALL IDIOT’S AND KNOW WHAT’S GOOD FOR US !! NEVER AGAIM !!# NEVER AGAIN!!! NEVER AGAIN !!!
This crap wouldn’t have occurred had we elected John Cox as Governor….
But then again, with the massive voter fraud that is encouraged by X. Becerra, Alex Padilla and the rest of the utterly corrupt CA Democrat party machine, who knows if Gov. Gravelvoice Hairgel actually won the election, er, CORONATION, apparently…
Who the heck does this clown think he is anyways???
NOW are you ready to resume the recall of King Gavin I???
You said it — now we know Newsomlini will be all about “flattening protests” not “the curve.”
Good luck with that!
Time to get the recall petitions going again.
As the serf class approaches the castle wall of the king Gavin Newsom he receives the crowd with the command “prepare a volley of arrows (CHP)” lest the people should per chance to breach the gate and regain what is rightfully theirs. But before the arrows fly, a suggestion from the aunt instead; in an effort to calm the people she proclaims; “Rather than the beach, who would rather have ice cream? I have lots to share”
Here ye, here ye….
Gavin Newsom,
We are not your subjects. We are not your children.
A recall is in order. Civil disobedience is in order.
Let us not let the crisis this Governor has created, go to waste. Kick the JERK out! Send him packing along with his progressive friends.
Let the red wave hit the beaches!!
“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ~Benjamin Franklin
Declare Huntington and Newport Sanctuary Beaches, problem solved.
Newsom’s antics have jumped the shark. This proves he is not only a liar, but someone who is willing to destroy our State for his own political ends. God help us all.
Newsom has done a great job of ruining California.
Of course, he has not completed his political agenda yet.
So, why would he want to reopen?
The dims should be swept away on a red tidal wave in November.
Gavin Newsom definitely has lost re-election with this one…closing the beaches after opening them…with no science behind the decision. His entire Covid-19 panic pandemic act was important for the first couple of weeks, and we are glad he got some ventilators…but in the meantime this is all a distraction from the fact that he cannot guarantee California safety because he has not fixed the PB& E power pole fires problems and he has not even tried to fix the homeless problem in a realistic manner… he has not built any new drug treatment lock down facilities to treat the 100,000 meth, heroine and cocaine addicts that he describes as “people experiencing homelessness” yet he fails to mention AND addiction. So he is trying to make himself a hero with this medical crisis while ignoring the other problems. Bye bye Newsom. Please some third party rational person it is time to run.
Curious…
Want to know since hair salons have been closed for 2 months now – How doe Gavin keep his hair perfect?
looks the same today as it did in March. we need to go to his stylist – that he can get in done before March 18, and still be this good May 3rd.
Does he have a little ponytail in the back – we can’t see? does his wife cut his hair? maybe he cuts it himself…
We must push back against all unconstitutional orders!
WWG1WGA!!!
